Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 321: Bone Melting Poison Sac

The poison sac is being kept in a glass, which was reinforced using formations to prevent any leakages. Such a deadly poison cannot be allowed to leak out like that.

Kent, who heard what Alina said, raised his head and looked at the poison sac. He immediately scanned it using his enchanted eyes.

⟪Name: Bone Melting Poison Sac⟫

⟪Danger Level: Very Dangerous⟫

→ This is a poison sac from a Root Sovereign-Stage Bone Melting Serpent Beast.

→ Just like its name, its venom is very lethal. A single drop can kill anything at the Root Sovereign stage and below.

→ When used with other ingredients, it can create poison pills that can even melt the bones of a Core Formation stage expert.

[The master shouldn't let this slide. This one is enough to create another subordinate who can specialize in poisons. I can already see a dangerous witch doctor in the making.]

Akira spoke, and Kent smiled.

'This means I will soon be having two undead subordinates.' His smile widened as he slipped his hand through the opening in Mara's clothes and gently kneaded her butt.

'I will be saving the two ladies in the coming days, then.' Kent spoke again, and like a bell, the universe responded.

It was like the universe was waiting for him to speak from the heart. So, the moment he did, they made modifications to his quest.

⟪Quest Updated: The quest title 'Clash with Evil' has been updated. The universe has sensed your determination.

If you manage to complete the quest within 30 days, there will be additional rewards, which will remain hidden for now.⟫

'More rewards mean more determination to get the job done. I guess I will be taking this venom now,' Kent said to himself as he observed the current bid.

It had already reached 400 million and was still rising.

Though the venom wasn't a legendary-grade item per se, its potency led them to brand it as a legendary item, and now it was being sold as one.

However, while nobody knew that, they understood that anything auctioned on the last day of the auction would sell quite well.

"410 million," a man said from one of the VIP boxes.

"450 million," Kent joined the bid, bringing a smile to the faces of everyone who had been expecting him to jump in.

"500 million," the voice spoke again, causing the crowd to buzz with anticipation as the bid entered the stage they had all been waiting for.

"600 million," Kent said.

"700 million."

"900 million," Kent raised it again. He was kind of enjoying the bid but also trying to understand the character of the person he was competing against for the venom.

From the look of things, the person was also wealthy, which made him wonder who that person was. He had already made enemies with three powerful figures; adding more to it would have been a very bad move on his side.

"2 billion," the person jumped a billion and went straight to two.

"5 billion," Kent raised the price by 3 billion. This was a legendary-grade item, but it wasn't the kind of item that should cause such momentum.

"10 billion," the person raised the price again, bringing a smile to Kent's face.

'Looks like this person really is after the venom. He must be an alchemist. Too bad, I have a lot riding on this. I have two beauties to rescue and an evil to eradicate.'

"50 billion," Kent raised it again, and this time, the voice didn't respond immediately. It went quiet for a couple of seconds before a sigh came from the VIP room.

"I will concede this time. Though I really need this venom, the auction is still too young to spend all my money." There was no anger in his voice. He even laughed as he said those words.

This made Kent place him on a level worthy of his respect, unlike the three blacksmiths who immediately started threatening him.

"The senior shouldn't worry; I will give you ten vials after the auction. If I didn't also need these poison sac, I would have let you have it," Kent said.

"Hahaha, thank you, youngster. Just a vial would be enough. Ten is just spoiling me," the man spoke, causing everyone to smile at his shameless words.

Ten is never enough, but having one is already sufficient for someone like him.

"Then I will look forward to meeting you, senior," Kent said.

"Same here, and you can just call me Pill Saint Barton," the man said, and everyone's mouths opened wide.

"Pill Saint Barton? Isn't he the Pill Saint of the Endorath Kingdom who created the formula for the Bone Strengthening Pill?" someone asked.

"He is, but he said it was just a variation of the real recipe that he discovered many years ago."

"I know, but to be able to complete the recipe—I mean, he is a genius. I wonder why he allowed that brat to have this poison sac."

"He really doesn't dabble in poison. If it were the Wicked Poison Witch, she wouldn't have let this brat have it.

But this is also good; at least it shows the brat isn't a spoiled brat. Him giving ten vials is already more than enough for someone spending 50 billion to buy it."

"True, the spoiled brat is actually a reasonable brat."

Kent scoffed and chose to introduce himself to the man. "I will do well to remember Senior's name. But you can just call me Kent. I am actually a Pill Master."

"Then we can have more to talk about during our exchange," Pill Saint Barton said, laughing, showing his carefree lifestyle.

"Hey Barton, stop trying to steal the brat from me. I called dibs on him already," suddenly, a voice spoke from VIP room 30.

"No need to be jealous, Sword King Shawn; I won't take much of his time. You can have him all to yourself when I'm done with him," Pill Saint Barton said, laughing.

"You better," the man, who was identified as the Sword King and had invited Kent for a talk a day ago, said with a chuckle.

Everyone who heard what had just happened exchanged looks, but none of them could man up and say anything.

The fact that two people sitting at the top of power just negotiated who gets to meet Kent first—the same Kent everyone wants to kill—left them bewildered.

Just what is happening?

"Since there are no other bids, the Poison Sac is sold to the young man in VIP room 13 for 50 billion spirit stones,"

Alina said, snapping everyone back to reality.
