Chapter 591-Power of Flames
The battle between Dave and the Illusion Queen had dragged on longer than he expected.
Her constant teasing, the fluttering butterflies, and the spiritual attacks were starting to feel more like a game to him.
He had been calm, even amused, but the time for games was over.
It was clear she was playing with him, and that was something Dave could not stand for.
He had his own tricks up his sleeve, and it was time to use them.
Dave's eyes flared violet, the Chaotic God's Eyes unlocking even more power within him.@@novelbin@@
He wasn't going to let this woman toy with him any longer. He had a plan.
The Illusion Queen, still floating gracefully among her swarm of butterflies, watched him closely, an almost mocking smile on her lips.
"Still not giving up?" she asked, her voice like honey.
"You really think you can beat me, Dave? I'm the Destroyer."
Dave's lips curved into a smirk, his gaze unwavering. "You're not as tough as you think."
His voice was calm as if he wasn't in the middle of a life-or-death battle.
"You've got plenty of tricks, but I've figured you out."
Her eyes widened ever so slightly, realizing that Dave was no longer just reacting.
He was thinking. He had found a way to break through her defenses.
She floated in front of him, a cluster of butterflies forming her image.
"Is that so?" she said, her smile curling up at the edges. "Then show me what you've got, Dave."
As she spoke, a butterfly fluttered toward him, but this time, Dave's reaction was different.
He stepped forward, and with a swift motion, he snapped his fingers.
The air around him suddenly shifted, and a blaze of golden fire ignited from his body, wrapping around him like a burning cocoon.
The butterflies around him withered and vanished instantly as the fire spread.
Dave's entire body was engulfed in the primordial flame, and the force of it burned so brightly that even the forest seemed to tremble.
The Illusion Queen froze, her smile fading into shock. "No… that flame," she whispered, her voice betraying a hint of fear.
"That's the Primordial Flame... the strongest flame in the world."
She took a step back, her wings fluttering nervously.
Dave chuckled softly, his voice deep and laced with amusement.
"I didn't think you'd recognize it so quickly. You're right, though. This is the power of Flamy—the Primordial Flame, the flame that burns through everything. Nothing can resist it."
His voice was teasing, almost flirtatious as he stepped forward, the flames around him flickering dangerously. "What's wrong, Illusion Queen? Are you scared now?"
She took a few steps back, her gaze shifting nervously. The butterflies that surrounded her began to vanish under the heat of Dave's fire.
"That flame… it's impossible… How can you—" she stammered, her confidence slipping.
Dave didn't let her finish. "You thought you could toy with me, huh?"
He smiled, the fire flickering behind his eyes. "Now, it's my turn."
He raised a hand, and the golden flames that surrounded him burst out in a violent explosion.
The entire area was illuminated by the brilliance of the fire, and the Illusion Queen screamed as the flames surged toward her.
The butterflies scattered, but they were no match for the intensity of the heat.

Dave's attack tore through the air with devastating power, dispelling her illusions and weakening her.
The Illusion Queen gasped for air, her face flushed from the heat.
"No… no! This can't be…" she muttered, clutching her chest. Her wings fluttered weakly, but they were not as strong as before.
The power of the Primordial Flame had shattered her defenses.
"Looks like you're not so tough after all," Dave said, his voice low and cool. He took another step toward her, his fiery form glowing brighter with each movement.
"You should have known better than to mess with me."
The Illusion Queen tried to summon more butterflies to shield her, but they were weak, powerless against the golden flames.
She looked at Dave, her expression no longer confident. "Please… Don't…"
Dave's eyes gleamed as he closed the distance between them. He moved swiftly, his body still engulfed in the golden fire.
The Illusion Queen was already too weakened to evade him. With one swift movement, he reached out, grabbing her by the waist from behind.
Her body stiffened in his grip as he pulled her close, locking her in a firm, unyielding hold.
She struggled, her wings twitching in desperation, but Dave's grip was unbreakable.
The golden flames wrapped around them both, but the heat seemed to only intensify as Dave's arms tightened around her body.
She gasped, her face flushed with both frustration and surprise. "Let go of me!" she demanded, her voice trembling.
Dave's voice was low and calm as he whispered in her ear, "You smell amazing."
His words were laced with a playful mockery, meant to distract her.
"A little sweet, a little spicy. I never thought I'd say this, but you've got a certain charm."
The Illusion Queen's expression faltered for a moment, a brief flicker of vulnerability crossing her face.
She struggled harder, her wings flapping wildly, but Dave's hold on her didn't loosen. She had no more butterflies to help her escape, no illusions to hide behind.
Her power was draining, and the golden flames that surrounded them continued to burn.
"I'm going to end this now," Dave said quietly, his voice full of finality. "It's time to say goodbye."
With a deep breath, Dave focused his power, and the golden flames around him flared brighter than ever before.
The flames licked at the Illusion Queen's body, but she couldn't escape, her struggles growing weaker with every passing second. She gasped for breath, her face pale as her strength faded away.
She looked at him one last time, her eyes wide with disbelief, and then Dave whispered, "Goodbye, Illusion Queen."
As the golden flames consumed them both, the Illusion Queen's body slowly went limp in Dave's arms.
The flames burned her away, and with a final, graceful sigh, her body turned to ash, leaving nothing behind.
The battle was over. Dave stood there, still holding the empty air where the Illusion Queen had been moments ago.
His body, now no longer glowing with flames, relaxed, but his expression remained cool and composed.
He looked around at the scorched ground and the remnants of the once-vibrant forest, now reduced to charred remains.
"Well, that was fun," Dave muttered to himself, brushing his hands together. "Guess I should get ready for the next one."
Despite the intensity of the battle, he remained unfazed, calm as ever. He had faced many enemies before, and the Illusion Queen was just another stepping stone on his path.
Nothing was going to stop him.
What do you think?
