Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 562 The True Origin

562  The True Origin

Since ancient times, all Heirs have wondered, at some point or other, where their abilities come from.

Incredible as it may seem, there are no writings from the past that reveal the use of abilities among the members of the Dietrich Clan. Although several different abilities are named, none of them can be inherited.

So, where do they come from? Why do they receive them? What is the mission? These are questions that every Heir has asked themselves at least once in their lives.

Matthew nodded.

"Obviously, I know because all your abilities come from me. At one time, they belonged to me; they make up my body."

Alice looked at him in shock. "Huh? Really? What do you mean?"

She couldn't understand at first, as his revelation was too shocking and difficult to digest. Matthew knew it, so he didn't hesitate to speak again.

"My body is currently incomplete. In the past, I was known by many titles, but there was one that stood out above all: Heir to the Origin. My true body is known as 'The Body of the Origin'. Of course, the shape and form are the same; I am only incomplete internally. I do not have my power of the Origin at full capacity because I lack the Fragments of the Origin."

He noticed that, as he spoke, Alice's face grew more incredulous, and she seemed to be connecting the dots in her head, so he smiled.

"That's right. The Fragments of Origin are the abilities you have."

"..."

Alice couldn't utter a word for several minutes as she tried to process it somehow.

"…The Fragments are part of your body… Do you mean that you need them to be with you in order to complete it?"

"Yes. If I want to complete it, the only way I have to do it is to get the Fragments back. That means I'll have to take the abilities from anyone who has one."

"That..."

"Will take away a lot of power. That's why I haven't done it. But the reality is that if you get those fragments back, the race will become enormously stronger and not weaker than you think. To tell the truth, you can only use 1% of the power of my fragments. At most 5%, so it's only with me that they will shine."

Alice remained silent, deep in thought, trying to understand it all. After several minutes, she nodded.

"You can take mine whenever you want, Matt..." Although she frowned suddenly when she remembered Frederick Murphy. For a moment, she turned pale. "Will you need to take my blood from Dietrich for that?" She asked.

"Hahaha, no. I don't need to use underhand tactics to regain what's mine. It will only affect your total power but don't worry; I'm already making preparations to complete it and make sure they don't weaken. Besides, for now, you can have them; I don't need the fragments to get rid of the scum." After that, he continued walking.

He knew he had a lot to do from now on, so he decided to take some time to process the information he had recently obtained. He took Alice and Isla to a mountain near Murphy City and parked there for the night.

'Mei.' He tried to communicate with the spirit of destiny, which had been silent for some time.

In doing so, he received a response relatively quickly.

"Matt?"

'You've been quiet lately. Did something happen?'

"No... Well, yes. The Supreme Castle has been acting strange lately. You should ask that girl, Alice, I haven't heard anything from Lady Alessa in a while, and that's weird since she's always causing chaos."

Matthew frowned and looked at Alice, who was sitting and staring at the darkened horizon. She had been like that all afternoon, still thinking about what they had talked about.

'I'd better ask her later.' He sighed and looked up, trying to collect his thoughts.

Then Isla came from the side.

"Matt, how did you manage to transmit your abilities? I've been thinking about it for a long time but still don't understand."

He smiled.

"My father discovered a way to do it in the past, but I had to get rid of the Core of Origin in my body. The Ancestral Lands that the Heirs see when they receive their abilities are the Core of my body's Origin. It's its own world."

"Did you get rid of the Core of Origin? After losing?" Isla exclaimed, in shock, but suddenly frowned. "No, if my memory serves me right, you didn't participate in the Battle for Supremacy... I can't remember; I feel my memories of that date fail me when I try."

"Hahaha, that's normal. You were sleeping on the date the War for Supremacy began. You don't remember because you were seriously injured before that."

"Injured? Who did it?"

Matthew simply smiled and shook his head. "A powerful enemy," he replied but didn't want to say anything more.

"I did not take part in the War. I shed most of my power before the War began, as it was the only way this world could survive, as we had become the epicenter of the war."

"That's why, even though the war happened here, this still exists. Unfortunately, the consequences were terrible." He sighed, remembering his family. @@novelbin@@

Isla finally understood. It had been a prediction. 'Did they predict that they would lose, and that's why they decided to do that? So, in that case, Father Dietrich would be the vanguard in a losing battle, just so that Matt wouldn't be affected, and he was hoping for some effect from something.' She nodded.

It is possible that they were hoping Matthew's ability, his Frozen Infinity, would take effect. Now, in reality, she couldn't know because many things, even in the ancient era, were only known to Matt and his father.

Even the great personalities of the Dietrich Clan did not know many of their plans, but they trusted them completely.

That is why, to this day, the race still does not know many of the plans of the ancient era.

While immersed in deep thought, a sudden voice brought them back to reality.

"And, by the way, our abilities were also born from him. It's been so long that I almost forgot."

The sudden voice took them by surprise. It wasn't Alice.

How could someone have gotten so close to the three of them? Was she that powerful? It was only briefly, but Alice and Isla increased their alertness to the maximum.

But Matthew was quicker to react.

"Charlotte, what are you doing here?" He looked behind him to a darkened region of the mountain.

Then a small energy fluctuation occurred, and she appeared, walking calmly towards them.

"I just came to say hello, Matt." She smiled.

"I don't think it's a good idea to come here right now, especially not to Murphy Town."

"Haha, don't worry, I came because someone invited me." She looked back, and another figure appeared walking there.

"Sophia?" Alice and Isla looked at this in shock; they had not expected Sophia to be with this human woman.

Not even Matthew expected it, but he understood and smiled.

"You move fast."

"Who is my enemy's enemy can be my ally. Besides, I heard she was your wife, so I understood that a big scheme was underway. I hope you don't mind."

Matthew shook his head. "In this situation, I told you to use all the cards, and it seems you understood. We're going to wipe them out."
