Chapter 277 [Laplace, the 5th Fate Weaver!]
[Location: About a kilometer away from the Coast city, in the vicinity of the portal area!]
The dark red portal slowly expanded, first from the size of a fist to big enough for a child to enter. And then slowly to the size of a man, and then enough for a house to fit in. It kept expanding slowly without showing any signs of stopping until it reached the size big enough to cover the entire city on its own.
While the top of the portal was at the same point where it began, in the sky far above the ground. The bottom part, reached to the ground, showing a completely different strata on the other side of the portal.
Contrast to the white soil on the mortal plane, the inside of the portal was covered with dark gooey and muddy soil, as if the entire area was covered in a dirt swamp. If the trees were lush green here, the leafless trees inside there were filled with thorny branches, with traces of blood red rocks growing within them.

There were black mountains with lava erupting from them, and the sky, which should have been blue like the one here, was white as snow, lighting the entire place inside there. As for the stars, the moons and the sun, they were non-existent in that place. A desolate landscape of sorts.
"This mortal plane. Brings back ugly memories," a voice echoed from the otherside as a man, a demonic presence, stood there observing the mortal plane of Zarraf.
Skin donned in red showing his demonic origin, and with pitch black eyes he observed the entire area with a single look, and analyzed everything that was in front of him. The Fate Weavers that were waiting for him, the Gods that prepared for the war. The Angels and the demons.
"Hmmm… how peculiar," he mumbled as observed the demons and the angels working together as they were ready to fight against him. But still, even though he was surprised, he didn't seem to be too bothered by it.
There was only one entity that he needed to be wary of, the Fate Weaver of Time, Luciana Wiregia. Other than her, there was no one who would be able to bother him. Even the First Fate Weaver is busy dealing with the diversion that he created.
He then smiled as he assessed the condition of Luciana before moving forward towards her. There were two more beings beside her, and Angel and a young boy with strange powers residing inside him.
'Must be the 6th and the 8th Fate Weaver,' he concluded as he recalled the bit of information he had collected about the other fate weaver's powers and nature. And given they were both still young with barely enough Restrictions unlocked, there was no problem with their presence here.
If anything, it would be a bit more entertaining for Laplace before he ends it all.
"Luciana Wiregia, are you really not going to join me?" Laplace asked, hoping to try once more. He didn't want to end this world, but going by how things are proceeding according to the Primordials plans, he would rather end it all than be a pawn in one of their plays.
Though he cannot fight them alone, he would at least need to have someone as powerful as Luciana Wiregia to be his side, or the dragon king, the first fate weaver, or perhaps even Lirawern. But sadly, nobody was ready to side with him in his journey.
And alone, he was nothing but weak in front of the primordials.
"Us Fate Weavers can kill the Primordials and take over the world. Why don't you listen to me? Become my wife, Luciana. Once we achieve our purpose, I can even promise to give you what you are desperately searching for," Laplace spoke, hoping to bring her to his side. He knew what Luciana was desperately searching for. And if he can make her his wife, he should be able to acquire a bit of her power as well, making him even more powerful than before.
Though looking at how disgusted Luciana's expression was, it didn't seem that it worked.
Laplace eyes then traced to a certain man dressed in black. His attire was similar to the All-Father, and carrying the exact face as the All-Father, he observed Laplace with a narrowed look.
'What is he doing here?' Laplce thought as he recalled a few blurred memories before teleporting towards the same guy, the Heaven's Guardian, the twin brother of the All Father.
"You are spoiling the mood. Did 'he' sent you here?" Laplace spoke with a displeased expression before he raised his hand towards the Heaven's Guardian and then…
-BOOOOM!!!!!
He flicked him towards the city, far away from the place as the All-Father kept observing his insane speed, unable to react properly at all.
The Heaven's guardian was thrown towards the city, though somehow he was propelled in the air, leaving the city and its citizens unscathed. The force that propelled away from the city was not seen by anyone, but if one had concentrated properly, they would have found a certain array that threw out an insane amount of invisible mana changing the direction of the projection, protecting the city and it's citizens.
But then again, there were bigger issues to deal with here.
-BOOOM!!!
The 6th Fate Weaver appeared in front of Laplace, attacking him with all his might. Though Laplace simply caught that attack with his bear fist, before properly observing the blue haired kid in front of him.
'How peculiar,' Lapalce thought as he analyzed the boy's power before he asked,
"Are you Sixth? You are strong! Wanna join my side? I can-" Laplce tried reasoning with him, wondering if he could train the boy's power, making him a powerful asset. Perhaps if the boy joins him, and with some experiments, he can create a powerful entity.
Something like Lirawern? If he could do that, he wouldn't need to destroy the world. He had already spent millennia preparing for war against the primordials. And while it is nearly impossible to fight against them right now, if he can create another Lirawern, then maybe…
The boy hit him again without any answer. Or perhaps his answer was clear with his actions.
Though Lapalce didn't give up…
"Very Good. You have a great foundation. I can teach you how to weild your powers as well. Just tell me. What do you want? Name it and it's all yours," Laplace spoke as he looked at the 6th Fate Weaver with slight hope. Though the glare made him sigh on the inside before he felt another attack coming at him.
Though because it was weak, he simply took the light attack while simply bathing himself in that special 'healing' magic that mildly melted his skin, before it was regenerated within a flash.
He looked at the source of the attack, the Angel Fate Weaver, the 8th. He had mildly heard about her. Though because she was rather weak, he didn't bother too much checking up on her.
'Doesn't seem like I can convince her as well,' Laplce thought before he decided to irk her out,
"You know I always wanted a concubine. Didn't think the eighth would be one," he winked at her, making her glare at him before increasing the attack power even more. Though it barely scratched Laplace this while he looked at Luciana and asked for one last time,
"So. Luciana. Have you tested me enough? Tell me, did you see any possibilities of winning in the future that you looked through?" Laplce smirked as he knew that they couldn't stop him anymore.
'Perhaps she could have been a problem for me, but after the injury Lirawern left on her, I guess she has considerably weakened as well. It pains me, but I have no choice but to force her into my control or else all this will become futile,' Laplace sighed, truly feeling sad for the condition of Luciana.
-BOOOM!!
A punch, a weak punch came from behind as the man in black shouted,
"Lady Luciana! Don't listen to him! He is a demon! He only knows how to deceive others!"
He was the same Heaven's Guardian, trying his best to stop Luciana from joining the other side. Though from the way he was behaving Laplace could see that this guy was planning something, one that would surely displease him.
"Shut up. Insect," Laplace glared at that guy before pushing back to the ground with a single wave of hand.
-BOOOM!!!@@novelbin@@
And then, turning back to Luciana, he decleared for one last time,
"Now, Luciana. Don't tell me that you still can't see that your only choice is to obey me. You will be my toy just like everything else. Even 'He' knows it's inevitable. In this world, in the entirety of Zarraf, there is no one who can touch me."
A final warning. A final choice.
What do you think?
