Well those last three battles were pretty insane!

Emeraldine showing off so much, Celes unleashing his full power and clearing the floor with the Chinese girl, and then my cute baby girl easily destroying that cocky Japanese girl!

Yeah, I call this an absolute win! It's strange this is like my first proper interaction with people from Chinese and Japan and they're all overly cocky people.

Is this because this world is very strangely anime-like or are they like that… No, no, Japanese people are supposed to be nice, right?

I don't know about Chinese people though, some of their novels are great but the ones that are great can be counted with the fingers of your hands, the rest are all copy pasted slop…

Wait, I don't think I should be judging people from a whole country based on their novels, that's bad, let's stop.

They were all hard working, strong fighters, although I really disliked how cocky they were and how they just started crying after losing, dammit.

Well, at least with Ming Lee, well, it was fine, she's just a little girl afraid of her annoying, overly disciplined Asian parents, I've heard literal horror stories about Asian parents back when I was still living as a normal person in Earth, so I can understand her fear.

Cheng Xie was the most surprising of the bunch though, that guy is literally the Monkey King and I'm not even joking, what with that?!

I had never considered it until now, but if Dream Hearts are truly made out of the Dreams of humanity, then things like this… shouldn't be that rare at the end huh?

Because Dream Weapons are like this because they were born from the Dreams of Humanity. So, some people awakening powers similar to special figures of mythology or even fiction, which are very popular, might not be rare as they're the embodiment of people's dreams.

And in China where there are so many goddamn people, the accumulation of Dreams must be very immense, someone ultimately inheriting a Dream version of Sun Wukong abilities… might be totally possible.

At the same time, it would also open the way for other powerful Dream Weapons to be born based on other beings of mythology and fantasy… which I guess we've already seen right?

Alma's staff is called Undine Staff I think? So it's made out of the Dreams of Water Fairies, the same could be applied to many others as well, interestingly enough.

All of the participants ended coming to greet us… no, except Ming Lee, she didn't want to even look at Celes again.

However, Emeraldine and Nyx managed to convince Cheng Xie and Katokawa to join us and talk with us, we needed them as friends due to their strength more than anything.

We can handle stuff on our own, but if we can have these as backup forces, that wouldn't be so bad, right?

"Congrats on the victories everyone!" I clapped, celebrating. "Emeraldine, you were amazing back then!"

"You really beat that monkey guy," nodded Partner. "Well done!"

"Yeah! I agree, it was amazing," Nia nodded.

"It truly surprised me quite a lot, yes," Jonathan agreed. "Cheng Xie, you were a formidable fighter! I never imagined people of this world could- I mean, that students could get this strong."

"A-Ahah, what did you mean with that… I mean yeah thanks; I am indeed very strong!" Cheng Xie nodded. "But Emeraldine completely beat me to it… I even still feel ashamed. I always believed to be the strongest, but as they say, there's always a heaven above heaven."

With everyone else having had their battles, I think the very last one that hasn't been called yet is Jonathan too!

So we'll be seeing his battle and then we're finally over with this damn thing.

"It surprised me quite a lot of well he fought," said Emeraldine. "I hope we can continue getting along, Cheng Xie." She smiled cutely.

"A-Ah, of course… gladly!" Cheng Xie nodded, blushing some more as he scratched his head. "Um, anyways, do you want to hang out later, Emeraldine? I would like to talk about our fight and… I don't know, we could have a meal, I mean… I could invite you to a really good restaurant in the city that my uncle manages and-"

"Oh, I would love that! But I'll be busy with my friends, so I can't really do that," said Emeraldine. "Sorry."

"O-Oh, no, forget it, it's fine," Cheng Xie nodded. "Any day you're free though, hit me up and we can go somewhere else and have fun and of course, talk about everything and…"

This boy was sure in love with Emeraldine, wasn't he?

Emeraldine is nice though, so she's nicely cutting him off.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know if I can do that without bringing friends, we've just met after all," said Emeraldine. "But I would gladly hang out with all my friends and invite you!"

"Oh… Sure…" Cheng Xie nodded.

The little monkey bastard really wanted to have a personal date with her!

"Should I tell him I have a boyfriend or something?" Emeraldine asked me through telepathy. "I know we're keeping our relationships a secret here but… I'm don't really want to play with his heart."

"I think it's fine like this," I responded through telepathy. "He's most likely only going to help us because of you, so we might as well use him like this… Are you okay with that? Of course if not, just tell her."

"Oh so that's it! Don't worry, I've got this, I'll just be nice and reject him," nodded Emeraldine. "If he tries anything I'll slap him to death!"

"Yeah, that's the spirit- Wait, to death?!" I muttered. "Hmm… okay maybe that's fair."
