Nyx unleashed her dragon breath, as the titanic beam of Flames of Demise consumed the wooden arms and the winds in an instant, turning them into ashes.

At the same time, the beam continued, reaching the head of the wooden titan, blasting it into pieces, and making it rapidly fall apart into pieces.

"No! Wait, wait a second! NOOOO!"

Katokawa screamed like a madwoman, completely different than how cocky she acted at the beginning, she was literally suffering, realizing how terrible her luck was to be chosen to fight Nyx from all people.

Her pink colored lotus tattoos quickly turned darker in color, as she already used three out of the eight she had, using the Dream Essence to rapidly rebuild the titan, making it resemble a huge, coiling dragon.

She harnessed the power of her techniques through it, countless pink colored Dream Veins awakening across the monstrous creature, firing massive beams of moonlight against Nyx from its jaws.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Nyx was slightly surprised of how far the girl could go, but unlike the creatures she had battled before, it was still simply not enough.

"She sure got the spirit and is super strong! I'm sure she could become useful for later, as another guardian for this world!" she thought.

Nyx smiled, as she clashed against the beams and tanked them with her armor made of scales, swinging her powerful halberd and releasing giant cutting shockwaves of Flames of Demise.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

As she attacked, the wooden giant continued being pushed back, as Katokawa saw it beginning to crumble down once more!

"No, is this the extent of my abilities?! T-This can't be happening! Don't screw with meeee!"

In desperation, she unleashed a massive storm of winds and pink petals against Nyx, which sent her flying back as she tried to push through.

FLUOOOSH!

"I'm going to win! I'll continue winning, flawlessly, as always!" she kept screaming to herself.

"Not now."

Nyx smiled, as her halberd suddenly changed, absorbing her Dream Essence, and evolving into its true Dream Weapon form.

It gained a purple and red color, with purple metal and red jewels, and another blade, it became double-bladed!

It overflowed with purple flames, a combination of her father's Abyssal Death Flames and her own Phantom Flames.

And then, she further merged them with Flames of Demise, creating black, red, and purple flames so powerful they warped space around them.

"Take this!"

She spun downwards, cutting through the wind as a massive wave of all-destroying flames was unleashed, washing away and burning through all of Katokawa's Dream Essence in an instant.

"{Nightmare Void Flames of Demise}!"

Nightmare!

By adding that element, Nyx was able to absorb Dream Essence, or even "damage it" making foes with immense pools of this energy useless anyways if they weren't strong enough to fight her to begin with.

Katokawa's greatest trump card was instantly denied, rejected, and destroyed entirely as her entire wooden guardian, which had become a huge humanoid demon of wood again, was vaporized, turned into ashes.

BOOOMMM!!!

Once and for all.

"N-No… This can't… be…!"

Katokawa dropped to the floor, gasping in disbelief, coughing, her clothes were slightly burnt, and she was covered on smaller wounds.

Nyx had made sure not to harm her too much, her flames were strong, but she calculated and controlled their output now that she had trained them for a long time.

The audience gasped as they saw the strong Katokawa, known as the Impenetrable Sakura Fortress, being completely destroyed.

"T-This can't be!"

"Katokawa lost?!"

"The other student with a complete winning streak and no loses through all these years?!"

"Nyx… that girl, I had no idea she was this strong!"

Professors were amused, talking between one another, as Nyx sighed in relief, rushing to check on Katokawa and if she was okay.

"Katokawa! Are you okay?"

The Japanese princess-like girl rested over the floor, looking at the blue sky with melancholic eyes.

"Ah… so this is losing, huh? I was completely beaten… Is this how those I always defeated so easily felt too? So… so utterly hopeless."

"…"

Nyx remained in silence hearing her talk to herself, she didn't understand why she was even doing that.

But she was kind of getting it now, Katokawa was going through a wild discovery.

That she could lose! Insane.

"Yeah you lost!" Nyx nodded. "You were pretty strong though, but you lose anyways, against me!"

"S-Stop rubbing it on my face!" Katokawa cried, frustrated. "D-Did you come to just mock me?!"

"Huh? No! I'm not mocking you?" Nyx tilted her head in confusion. "I'm just saying what happened…"

"Aaaarrgh!" Katokawa grabbed her head as she started screaming. "I know! S-Stop being so rough with your words! Where's you modesty?!"

"Modesty?" Nyx asked.

"Ah… foreigners really can't be a bit nicer with people, this is why I just want to return to Japan already," Katokawa groaned.

"Let's become friends?" Nyx asked, as she poured a potion over Katokawa's body.

SPLASH!

"Uwagh! W-What the hell did you use on me?!" cried Katokawa, until suddenly, she felt her wounds regenerating easily. "Eh? I'm back? Did you heal me with that water?!"

Apparently, potions in this world didn't exist like they did in Yggdrasil, and healers was what people mostly relied on for healing their injuries in battle.

There was also regeneration speed acceleration, but they came in the form of vaccines that had to be injected in the wound, and they were only better to use when the wounds were too massive.

However, something like a fantasy magical potion? Impossible!

"Yeah it was healing water made by Celes!" Nyx lied about it. "Now you're all healed up and feeling good, right? Let's be friends. We'll need your help one day, I'm sure!"

"Friends?!" Katokawa gasped. "I… Uh… Okay? I mean… sure, do whatever you want. I give up anyways."

"Yaaay! New friend!" Nyx celebrated, grabbing Katokawa's hand and dragging her back to the seats.

"Uwaaah! Wait a second Nyx!" cried Katokawa.

As this happened, the three battles concluded, Professor Hendrick announcing them.

"And the victors of these rounds are Emeraldine, Celes, and Nyx!"
