Chapter 43: Chapter 44: A Group of Thugs Arrived
“Doctor Yun, some thugs have arrived outside, insisting that the doctor treat their injuries,” the servant boy said, clutching his chest.
Yun Qian frowned slightly and followed him out, “I’ll go take a look.”
As he was about to head to the front courtyard, Shao He pushed open the door and came out, “What’s happening?”
“It’s nothing, I’ll go take a look; you stay in the backyard and don’t come out.” Yun Qian was worried that these thugs meant trouble.
Watching him leave, Shao He lifted his foot and followed.
In the front hall, the thugs were sitting on chairs, one of them shaking the table with his feet propped up on it.
Several seriously injured thugs leaned against the wall corner, while a few others idly chatted.
Yun Qian, displeased, walked over and knocked on the table, “Please put your feet down.”
The thug saw him, scoffed coldly, and with a disdainful smile glanced behind him, conditionally seeing only the trembling servant boy, and said displeasedly, “The doctor who usually sees patients isn’t you, I want that female doctor!”
“Doctor Shao has already rested, and I am also a doctor here, I can treat you,” Yun Qian explained again gently.
In his heart, he was certain that these thugs were specifically targeting Shao He.
The thug slapped his hand on the table with a “smack” and said fiercely, “Damn it, my brother’s life is precious, not just anyone can treat him.”
“If you don’t want treatment, please leave,” Yun Qian said, issuing an eviction notice without any courtesy.
The thug became infuriated by his words, stood up angrily, and cursed at him, “Who do you think you are? Don’t reject a face offered, hurry and call that woman out, or else today this shop…” @@novelbin@@
As he spoke, the thug kicked over a chair to the ground, the meaning in his words clear that if the Female Doctor didn’t come out to treat them today, they would smash up his shop.
“Stop!”
Just as the thug was about to make a move, Shao He emerged from the back hall.
Seeing him come out, the thugs immediately showed a look of amazement in their eyes, and then one of the thugs, touching his chin, walked up to her.
He rolled up his sleeves, the bloodstains on them nearly dried.
“I’m injured too, could the Female Doctor help bandage me as well?”
Shao He ignored him and instead walked over to the seriously injured thugs, seeing a person on the brink of death, she immediately commanded Aunt Liu to boil some hot water.
“Shao He, these thugs are no ordinary, you…”
“But their injuries are indeed severe, let’s treat them first,” Shao He knew these people might mean trouble, but as a doctor, she could not neglect to save lives.
If such an incident were leaked, it would impact the reputation of the medical shop.
Yun Qian understood this principle as well, and could only help her treat a few of the thugs’ wounds together.
Meanwhile, the other thugs used filthy language, stared at Shao He with frivolous looks, and occasionally even deliberately approached, pretending to be injured for her to bandage them.
Shao He suppressed her displeasure and promptly treated the wounds of several thugs.
“Doctor Shao, you haven’t treated my injury yet, please bandage me as well,” another thug approached her, looking at her with a smitten expression, his gaze constantly roaming over her body.
Shao He picked up a piece of cloth to wipe her hands dry, her eyes sharply looking at the man in front of her.
“Alright, please sit here.”
The thug immediately ran over happily to sit down; Shao He’s lips curled into a cold smile, she rotated her wrist and then walked over to roll up his sleeve.
She first briefly cleaned his wound and wiped off the blood around his arm.
“Doctor Shao, your hands are so soft, you smell so good… Ah! It hurts, it hurts me to death!”
As the thug inhaled deeply from her scent, enjoying the fragrance from her body, a severe pain shot through his wrist, causing him to clutch his arm and howl in pain.
What do you think?
