Reincarnated in the game world ~ A gamer's beginning to [Dungeon job hunting recommendation]

While the battle raged between multiple classes for the strategic spot, on the tallest mountain of the arena---«Central Mountain». A young girl—«Star Agent» Karua of Class-1---watched everything transpired from the summit. 

"Meow-Meow, Meow-Meow-Meow."

"Meow-Meow, Meow-Meow-Meow."

One would have imagined the arena to be filled with an air of tension and excitement for the finale it was, however this spot alone was wrapped in rather---air of comfortableness. 

Karua was humming a song while moving her body to and fro. Her familiar cats followed the rhythm, swaying and singing alongside her---a sight that may or may not reduce Rika to tears for missing out on such a heartwarming scene if she hears about this. 

On other hand, maybe the secret would be known only to drifting wind or the summit, since no one was at the peak beside Karua herself. 

Karua's bear only one mission, and that was to gather and transmit information for Zephyr, and the summit for precisely the best location for it. 

But, it was a solo mission. Without any companion, loneliness was bound to creep up. This holds even more true for Karua. The urge to eat curry was non-stop brewing inside her, hence she resorted to singing with her familiars to divert her attention. 

And from a glance, it seemed to be a successful attempt.

"Meow-Meo...w??"

"Meow?"

Suddenly, Karua's swaying came to a halt. The familiar cats also paused, cocked their head in wonder and looked up at Karua. 

Karua's nose twitched in adorable fashion, and showed a puzzled expression.

"Something smells...strange?"

"Meow?"

It was the smell. As a beastkin with a keen sense of smell, she immediately noticed a slightly sweet smell, like the scent of flowers, around her. 

Faintly, her 'Intuition' rang in her mind. However it gave her no inkling, leaving her confused. The black cats, too, appeared to have no idea.

"? I feel sleepy..."

Perhaps she had utilised her spirit too much, or maybe she couldn't sleep well at night due to excitement for the finale, a drowsiness assailed Karua now that her nerves finally had a chance to relax. 

"No... I can't sleep. Absolutely...not."

"Meow."

Karua sprang up on her feet to shake away the drowsiness and turned to search the area. 

Suddenly, she noticed the place where that sweet smell was especially strong. At a glance, it just felt like any rock she had seen in this map, however Karua's eyes suddenly widened at the look. 

"Hm? —!!"

The rock was causing her 'Intuition' to go haywire. 

"«Throwing Edge»!"

Karua used her throwing knife skill and aimed at the rock. However, instead of piercing, it caused a cloth to drop. It was clearly an item to camouflage.

Once the cloth was removed, Karua took another glance at the spot and checked the content. 

"This is... a flower? —Rgh!?"

"Meow!"

The cloth was hiding a huge, purple flower. 

It was «Remusika», a trap flower from an advanced-low dungeon, though Karua was unaware of it.  

The pollen of said flower induces sleep, and staying for too long in their presence inflicts «Sleep» abnormal status. Though the effect was quite weak, and a decent jolt or slap could awaken one from the slumber. ...As long as there's any comrade around to give that jolt, that is. 

"So sleepy... hng, this flower... is dangerous. I need to get away."

"Meow!"

A strong drowsiness had already seized Karua's mind for staying too long in its presence. However, still not completely succumbing to it, she sprinted away to get out of the area along with black cat. 

"Trap."

She might have not known what that flower was, however it was an easy guess that the sudden sleepiness had to be the flower's work, and this means someone had put it intentionally there. 

In an attempt to get away, Karua climbed down the mountain and planned to visit Zephyr. But---

"What... all this..."

When she got down to halfway, she found the smell of an earlier flower drifting around. Her «Intuition» buzzed endlessly in her mind. 

It appeared the preparator behind this trap knew Karua would either be at the summit, or somewhere around the middle area. So now, the belly of the mountain—and gradually from there to the summit---was already dyed in the smell of Remusika flowers. 

They're arranged so meticulously that it didn't trip any of Karua's alarms. 

"Agh..."

Karua's legs had already started to wobble. It was obviously unsafe to go down in such an unwell condition. However, this was something that must be done, and so, Karua sprinted. She also turned to rely on her unique skill to make climbing easy work.

"Uni...que skill--- «Number One...Agen---—"

Albeit, she couldn't complete her words and fell down on her spot. On her HP bar, the icon of «Sleep» status was flashing. 

And the sight was clearly captured by a certain someone---the preparator. 

"W-We did it! It's just as Rina onee-sama said!!"

"I-I can't believe, we really did it?!"

"It's really a surprise. I never expected we could bring out a member of Class-1. All hail Rina onee-sama!!"

The preparators were the members of Class-12—their leader Akemi, and her followers Kajmal and Wardol---who had once tried to recruit Zephyr for their alliance. They're also hidden in the area, and thanks to the «Sleep Resist Talisman» which they'd equipped in their accessory slots, they managed to escape the flower effect. 

They'd been here---if their comment earlier hadn't made it out clear---under the command of Rina to set the «Remusika» trap. The flowers were provided by another class in alliance, and though the effect was weak, it was not difficult to set them up in the belly of the mountain or its swim since either were elevated ground.

"I'm just glad everything went well."

"Yep, and all thanks to you, Negi-san! I doubt we could have achieved Rina onee-sama's vision so effectively otherwise!"

And the fourth person was Nagi, a girl from Class-5, and holder of certain support jobs. She was the crucial link in the whole plan that stopped them from appearing in Karua's «Sonar» or «Peeping Tom». 

It was an easy explanation. Kajmal, by virtue of his job «Barrier Master», first contained the effect of «Remusika» to his maximum effort, while Nagi worked in cooperation and allowed them to hide under Karua's watch until she was caught in effect. 

"Alright, Wardol! It's your turn."

"Leave it to me! Time to show a dwarf's not only about smithing. Construction is also a piece of cake---«Tension Up»! —Then «Enclosed Home»! Heave, and ho...Heave-ho, heave-ho. C'mon, get together for me!"

And the final nail to seal the deal was Carpenter Dwarf with his job «Chief Dwarf». 

He fished out many parts from his «Item Bag(small)», and joined them together to make a makeshift prison fashioned after a snow hut. It was for Karua, obviously. 

While the abnormal status «Sleep» was easy to dispel, the natural recovery during the duration of effect of  fells down. Rina's command was to entrap Karua and not eliminate.

"Just a bit, and... doneee! Take it!"

*Clang*

At the end, along with a metallic sound clicking together, Karua was locked inside dome shaped object. 

"Hehe, impressive, right? I betcha no one is faster than me in construction. A structure have to be more than just solid to make it to top after all!"

"Amazing work as expected, Wardol! You did great!"

"H-hurray! This can seal an advanced job member, really!?"

Nagi followed the gestures of Class-12 and let out a rejoiced shout, while remarking about the lock part. 

"I am amazed Rina-san's plan run so deep. Ah, but I think I might be affected by flowers now."

However she soon noticed the assailing drowsiness since Kajmal's barrier had been dispelled. In the end, «Remusika» didn't discriminate between friend and enemy. 

"Let's leave the retrieval of flowers for later. First we ought t o inform Rina-san."

Nagi proposed her plan while squinting her eyes, earning the rest of people's affirmation. They'd finished their objective. In that case, they'd have no reason to stay behind any longer.

"Ohohoho! The match is completed with finesse, don't you think!! Yes, let's return to the base then!"

"I wonder how many people's eyes are gonna pop when they hear our feet."

"Wahaha! Great Success! Let's get going!"

"Rina-san will be glad too."

And so, leaving behind the echo of their triumph, the four climbed down the mountain—while unaware that everything was witnessed by a black cat.
