Chapter 241 Great Merit for Sky Sword 50th
***
Sky Sword 50th Headquarters.
Elder Kang arrived at the main hall of the headquarters. In front of them, there were two female grand elders wearing white fur-coated Sky Sword uniforms. They sat in their seats.
"How is it, Elder Kang?" asked one of the female elders, Eve.
"I checked with the people around the explosion site. However, they said they didn't know anything about the explosion," Kang explained.
"Hmm... what else did you find out besides interviewing the locals?" asked another female elder, Lilith.
"I chased after those two, but they disappeared in an instant."
"I know it's impossible, but I'm not lying. They disappeared in my detection," Kang explained.
Eve and Lilith closed their eyes, curious about what Kang meant. Elder Kang added something else. He said that he suspected all of this was based on dimensional power.
Dimensional power was not easily obtained by just anyone, only those who understood the concept of time and space could understand it. However, Elder Kang never lied or betrayed. He would tell the truth.
"If there really is dimensional power, then we must find out who it is. Dimensional power can be very valuable to us," Eve emphasized.
Elder Kang nodded, in full agreement with Eve's words. If Sky Sword managed to obtain someone with dimensional talent, then Sky Sword's future capabilities would be limitless.
They can send people easily, going to other places in the blink of an eye. To be sure, the system could be tricked by them.
"Continue your good work, Elder Kang. We await good news from you to resolve this tragedy," Lilith ordered, Elder Kang nodding obediently at their orders.
Elder Kang excused himself, stepping towards the door of the hall. However, his steps faltered when he sensed a strong magic fluctuation in the place.
Eve and Lilith felt the same way. They rose from their seats and stepped down.
From inside the room, they saw exactly the dimensional ripping that happened without them expecting it. Eve and Lilith immediately went on alert by activating their magic auras.
"Who is it?" asked Eve.
The dimensional crack grew to the size of a grown man. They saw Aaron coming out of the place wearing a purple-patterned black shirt, his trademark identity.
"Who are you?"

"Aaron?!" gasped Elder Kang, seeing Aaron's figure appear from within the dimension.
'So, Aaron is a mage with a dimensional power talent? I understand why he's so strong even though he doesn't belong to any group,' said Elder Kang.
Aaron turned around, turned his head and smiled at Kang. He greeted elder Kang in a friendly manner, as the two of them had met often lately.
However, his meeting this time was quite surprising for Elder Kang. With great courage, Aaron appeared at the most important place in Sky Sword 50th's headquarters.
"Nice to meet you, Elder Kang."
Elder Kang stepped into the center of the hall again, breaking up the near-fight between Eve and Lilith. Elder Kang explained that Aaron was no threat, he was just an ordinary traveling mage.
"Do you know him?" asked Eve, Elder Kang nodded.
"That's right. We've met a few times. We have a good relationship with each other," Elder Kang explained.
He turned his head to the side, asking the purpose of Aaron coming to this place. He didn't ask Aaron about his dimensional powers because that had already been confirmed by himself.
"I brought you a gift," Aaron stated, glancing at Elder Kang and the two women before him.
"A gift?"
Aerith stepped out gracefully. Her manipulation magic helped bring Elder Rev out of the Dark Dimension. Eve, Lilith, and Kang were shocked to see Rev's figure.
"Him? Why is he wearing a Dark Legion uniform?" Eve asked.
"He is Elder Rev, one of the important ruling elders of the 50th Dark Legion. He's the one responsible for dispatching the Shadowless Killers," Aaron explained, saying it out loud to them.
"What?! The Elder of the 50th Dark Legion?" asked Eve, unable to hide her shock.
Aerith threw Rev's body forward. The man fell to the ground helplessly, all of his magical energy absorbed during his time in the Dark Dimension, Aaron had told Aerith to do it.
"You?! So you're working with Sky Sword, damn it?!" Rev snapped.
"You're a dark elemental user. Why would you obey people like them?!" said Rev, out of his mind.
Aaron and Aerith chose not to answer the question. Lilith immediately shackled Rev's body again in her manipulation magic, rendering the man helpless for the second time.
"You're wrong. I hate the Dark Legion more than the Sky Sword," Aaron stated, glaring at Rev.
Lilith rendered Rev unconscious in her shackles. She ordered the Sky Sword members to come and take Rev to be locked up in the strictest magical prison in the city.
Elder Kang was relieved. If Sky Sword managed to capture Rev, then he had a high possibility of uncovering the Shadowless Killer's operation map.
"Thank you for your great help, Aaron," Elder Kang said.
"No need to thank me. Coincidentally, we have a common enemy."
"Your name is Aaron, right? I feel familiar with that name," Eve said, stepping closer to Aaron.
Eve watched Aaron's face carefully. Slowly, she began to realize who Aaron really was. It was enough to make Eve surprised.
"Aren't you Aaron Lewis? The culprit who destroyed the 10th floor city?" asked Eve, again surprising Elder Kang.
"You're very good at recognizing people," Aaron complimented.
Eve smiled. She said that Aaron was lucky enough to arrive at Sky Sword. Thanks to Eloise's explanation to them, Aaron's name was removed from Sky Sword's wanted list.
Aaron smiled. He didn't expect Eloise to communicate with Eve regarding him. Aaron thanked Sky Sword 25th for helping him a lot.
"No problem. As long as you don't mess with us, we won't do anything bad to you," Eve said.
"I will remember your kindness."
"So, since you've been so instrumental in this case, is there anything you need?" Eve asked.
The man actually needed materials for the curse-breaking potion, some materials Aaron had not been able to get.
However, it was also impossible for him to tell them what he wanted. They didn't necessarily have the materials.
"I want to advance to the next stage of the mage tier. Can you guys help me?" Aaron asked.
Eve squinted. Through her magical vision, she saw that Aaron's mage tier was Venerable Sage, just like Elder Kang.
With that statement from Aaron, the man indirectly wanted to advance to the Archmage stage. To do that, requires a lot of experience.
Eve turned her head to the side, Lilith shook her head. Both of them responded with the same thing, unable to help Aaron with that due to the limited Gem EXP.
"Sorry, it seems we can't fulfill your wish. Currently, we are experiencing gem experience limitations."
"I'm afraid, with all the gem EXP we have, you failed to break through the Archmage tier," Lilith explained.
It was a bit disappointing, but Aaron didn't bother. After all, his initial goal was to take revenge on the Dark Legion. He didn't expect anything in return from any party.
"Alright. It looks like we can't stay here for long," Aaron said.
Not getting any decision, Aaron chose to say goodbye. He and Aerith walked away from the place towards the hall door. However, Lilith did not want them to think of Sky Sword 50th as an ungrateful group.
Lilith stepped quickly from her position to arrive in front of the hall door. That stopped Aaron and Aerith in their tracks.
"We can't let you leave without anything in return," Lilith emphasized.
"What if we made you our guest of honor? On every floor, you'll be given special treatment by Sky Sword," Eve replied, stepping toward the two.
"Of course, you can stay in our headquarters all you want. We would be honored by that," Eve explained.
"Don't worry about the Night Liberators. They won't be able to touch you. I guarantee that," Eve emphasized.
'In short, they can guarantee my safety well? I see.'
Aaron glanced to the side. Aerith seemed to nod, she couldn't wait to live in a grand house in a base as grand as Sky Sword. Aerith was very fond of luxury.
Seeing Aerith's response, Aaron had no choice but to agree to Eve's offer. Eve smiled. She would gladly take Aaron for a tour.
The door to the hall opened, the entire 50th Sky Sword members looked shocked to see Eve stepping out with someone, not part of their membership.
"Great Elder Eve is walking with whom?"
"I don't know. But I'm sure, she must be important to Sky Sword 50th."@@novelbin@@
Aaron looked at the surrounding area, feeling the looks of awe and shock on the faces of the members of Sky Sword 50th. Eve noticed Aaron's response, she asked the man to ignore their gazes.
"Maybe you don't know it, but this is the first time in a long time that we have received an honored guest," Eve said.
"I can see that. They don't seem used to it."
"That's right. They're not used to it."
What do you think?
