Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 248 God's Coming

Aerith tried everything she could to restore Aaron's severely injured condition. However, to no avail.

In response to the situation, Eloise had the 25th Sky Sword members come and take Aaron to an empty room.

Emily came out of her room and said she was in good health. She was also comfortable wearing the ring of darkness, Aerith focused her attention on the ring.

"Apparently, the ring of darkness triggered the rumbling magic earlier. Aaron gave it to you because he thought it could solve the suffering caused by the curse," Aerith said.

"I think so. The power in this ring of darkness is quite strong, it's not like I'm suffering from this curse," Emily said.

"Then what Aaron did was solely to protect Emily. I didn't expect him to go this far, to get her hurt," Eloise explained.

The woman was touched and hoped that Aaron would wake up quickly, so that Eloise could convey her deep gratitude to him. However, no one knew when Aaron would wake up.

Eloise offered to Aerith to have Aaron intensively treated at the Sky Sword 25th headquarters.

She confidently said that the members of the 25th Sky Sword had the capacity to restore Aaron's condition, at least make him stop dying.

Aerith nodded. She didn't know what to do to restore Aaron's condition, but if Eloise said that she could provide the best medical facilities, then Aerith would accept it.

"Alright, but I'll take care of him no matter what. Your job is only to heal Aaron with all the means at your disposal," Aerith emphasized.

"Of course. We'll do our best."

Several members of the 25th Sky Sword left the throne hall while carrying Aaron on a stretcher.

As Aerith followed behind them, Eloise asked Aldo to show her the best room Aaron could use for his treatment.

Emily looked up at the sky and saw the damage in the throne hall. She asked more about this incident, Eloise would tell Emily everything.

According to the woman, Emily needed to know about this incident because everything was related to the girl.

Jovanni and Max arrived at the front yard of Sky Sword 25th headquarters. He explained that he wanted to meet Eloise in person, to find out what had happened earlier.

Eloise couldn't refuse them. Before telling Emily the truth, Eloise needed to tell Jovanni and Max the other reason for the incident. It was useful to prevent any suspicion from them.

"I heard you shouting Aaron's name. Is the cause of this incident Aaron?" said Max, curious.

"He's not your fugitive. He's one of my friends from upstairs, his abilities are indeed terrifying. However, I can confirm that he is not the Aaron you are referring to," Eloise emphasized, trying to protect Aaron from Max's suspicions.

"I can't just believe that before—"

"Stop your suspicions, Max. Whether it's Aaron or not, at least he saved the city from destruction," Jovanni interrupted, glancing sharply to the side.

"Or maybe he was solving a problem that arose because of his actions. Aaron is not the nice guy you think he is, Jovanni!" Max insisted.

His hatred for Aaron was so strong, he still sent a wanted list to every branch of the Night Liberators to capture the man, dead or alive.

Emily heard the hateful words delivered by Max. The girl couldn't hide her anger because Max's words were not based on the facts at all.

Aaron had just saved Emily's life. It wasn't like he was stopping a self-inflicted problem.

Eloise held Emily's body from getting angry, because if she did, then Max would know that it was Aaron they were looking for.

"She's safe with us. He needs extra care, so not just anyone can see him."

"Whatever happens to him, we'll help him recover however we can," Jovanni said.

"Thank you, Jovanni."

"Alright. Let's start this whole discussion with some wine. Do you have any objections?"

One year later

Sky Sword 25th Headquarters.

Lilith City.

Aerith was still faithfully by Aaron's bedside. It had been a year since the black pillar of darkness incident, many healing methods had been carried out. However, there was no sign that Aaron would wake up soon.

Eloise had used all means to make Aaron wake up. In fact, she directly invited Elder Kang and Great Elder Eve to come check on Aaron's condition.

They both said that the illness Aaron was suffering from was beyond their ability. They believed that only Sky Sword President could cure him.

However, President Sky Sword was just like the president of Dimension Justice or the Night Liberators.

They were focused on traveling floor to floor, opening new floors and establishing new cities.

Eve couldn't possibly tell President Sky Sword to come recover Aaron's condition. Not only did he have important duties, but Aaron was not officially a member of Sky Sword —not even an elder.

They only left a message that Aaron's recovery was only a matter of time. There was a possibility that he could recover on his own, but there was also a possibility that he would die. Aerith really didn't want that to happen.

Eloise nodded. Although there was nothing she could do, but at least she would still let Aaron stay in one of the exclusive rooms provided by the group.

Regarding Emily's condition, the symptoms of the curse torment she had previously experienced were no longer felt, not even a relapse.

Emily suspected that the ring of darkness that Aaron had given her had a significant impact on her condition.

Aerith stepped into Aaron's room, bringing warm tea and snacks for herself. She looked ahead, the man she loved was still lying helplessly on the bed.

'Aaron?

'When are you going to wake up?' Aerith asked.

While waiting, Aerith ate the snacks slowly. Day turned into night, and she went to sleep in another room provided by Eloise, leaving Aaron alone in his room.

[EXP Energy absorption process successful]

Aaron's eyeballs moved even though his eyes were tightly closed. The air blew around his body with an intense increase in strength every second.

Aerith who was asleep also felt a strong wave of magic energy coming from the room where Aaron was resting.

Wearing only her sleeping pajamas, Aerith got up from her bed and stepped closer to Aaron's room.

The door opened, and to Aerith's surprise, she saw Aaron flying through the air, something she had never imagined before.

"What happened?" asked Aerith.

A powerful magical boom occurred that pushed Aerith far enough away from Aaron's room. In a flash of purple light, Aaron's body shot into the sky, destroying the roof of the room.

Aerith did not stay still. She flew close to Aaron while directing her maroon magic power forward, trying to stop Aaron's powerful magic fluctuations.

However, an explosion due to the clash of magic occurred that shocked the woman. Eloise heard the boom of Aaron's magic. She immediately went to check the situation.

From her bedroom window, she saw Aaron floating in the air with his body surrounded by purple magic energy. The boom of Aaron's magic was enough to wake people up from their sleep.

"What's going on?"

"Is there an attack? Strengthen the base's defenses!"

Aldo knocked on the door of Eloise's room, then opened it after getting permission from the woman. Aldo was about to tell Eloise about Aaron, but Eloise already knew it herself.

"Strengthen the base's defenses. Protect the other members!" said Eloise.@@novelbin@@

"Alright."

Just as Eloise ordered Aldo, another powerful magic boom occurred that spread throughout the city. Jovanni and Max also felt the wave of magic. They hurriedly left the place to the center of the magic fluctuation.

"What happened?" asked Jovanni.

The cocoon wrapped around Aaron's body cracked and shattered, revealing Aaron's figure floating in the air with a purple-patterned black shirt he was wearing, replacing the clothes he was previously wearing.

The intensity of the magic power was so strong, accompanied by purple lightning strikes from all around Aaron's body.

Aaron's eyes opened, suddenly a second powerful wave of magic spread throughout the city, shocking the three leaders of the three main groups.

"The intensity of this power? Has he moved up another tier?" asked Eloise.

Aerith smiled. From her eyes, she could see Aaron's strength had increased drastically from the Venerable Sage mage tier to an Integrity Knight.

With that strength, there would be no one who could match Aaron within the 50 floors of the Dark Pillar Tower.

"I'm glad you're back, Aaron," Aerith whispered, tears falling down her cheeks.

'The absorption of large amounts of EXP energy helped raise my individual level. Now, I'm at tier five as an Integrity Knight,' Aaron explained.

The difference between tier four and tier five was the circle ornament behind Aaron's back. People called it the magic majesty ornament, those who had condensed their magic energy to the peak stage could realize the magic majesty ornament.

Aaron flew low from the sky and set his feet on the ground. People walked up to Aaron because they wanted to see the figure of a mage who was in the Integrity Knight tier, very rare to happen.

"I KNEW IT WAS YOU, DAMMIT!" shouted Max, desperately attacking Aaron.

The man realized there was a magic attack aimed at him. He reached out and made Max's body immobile, there was a strong magic pressure field that was able to grip Max's body.

With a clenched hand motion, Aaron smashed Max's body with such force that the magic particles flew into the sky.

"You are no threat to me."
