Chapter 257 Years in the Dark Pillar Tower
***
Two years later.
[CONGRATULATIONS!]
[You have successfully completed the Dark Pillar's 79th boss challenge]
[The next floor of Dark Pillar Tower has been unlocked]
[Floor Access Privilege: 80th]
[Want to go to the second floor?]
[Yes] [No]
Aaron, dressed in a long black robe, pressed the menu in front of him. The panel contained information about floor access privileges that had now increased to the 80th floor.
He had defeated the floor boss in the form of a 30m giant lion monster. At first, Aaron thought he wouldn't be able to defeat it, but after a long battle, he was able to subdue the monster and was rewarded accordingly.
The EXP increased, as did the TP and RL. The amount increased every time Aaron went up a floor, even though he was already at level 576 because of the journey from the 50th floor to the 79th floor.
Even so, the level required to reach the Young Great Ruler stage was level 1000. With Aaron's current level, he would have to go up at least 424 more levels to reach the tier.
Young Great Ruler was a tier that could be called the ruler candidate tier. People would choose the new Ruler based on their tier level.
At minimum, they had to reach the Young Great Ruler tier to be selected as a Great Ruler candidate.
[Teleportation to the next floor confirmed]
[Destination: 80th]
[Initiate teleportation to destination in five minutes:]
[00:00:04:59]
A floor teleportation notification panel appeared in front of Aaron, explaining that he would teleport to the 80th floor after waiting five minutes.
The door to the floor boss room opened again, Aaron looked back and stepped out of the room.
Unlike the floors below 60th, the 61st floor up to the highest floor lacked mages.
Even those who participated in the monster raid were those who could be counted on the fingers, then those who challenged the floor boss were fewer and fewer.

Currently, outside the 79th floor boss room, Aaron didn't find a single mage who came and dared to challenge the floor boss.
As Aaron recalled, the number of mages who participated in today's monster raid was 7 people, only Aaron was the one who came to the floor boss room.
"I heard that there is a town on the 80th floor, a small town that was only built a year ago. I wonder if there are people there?" Aaron asked.
Aaron's body began to glow in blue light, alone in that place without anyone to accompany him. The panel in front of Aaron's face showed a teleportation time of about 2 minutes remaining.
Slowly, Aaron's body began to vanish and disappeared in blue magic particles. After two minutes passed, Aaron's figure completely disappeared from that place.
When he opened his eyes, Aaron found himself in front of the stone of light. The location of the stone of light was near the gate of the Dark Pillar, with not a single person in the place.
The typical hubbub of a small town in a quiet forest caught Aaron's attention. He turned his head to the side, clearly seeing a sparkling light emerging from behind the forest.
Without thinking, Aaron flew away from the place towards the source of the sparkling light.
He flew without showing the boom of his magic, hoping that those he passed would not take offense at his arrival.
Aaron had to be careful. The average mage in this place was an Archmage and Integrity Knight, some were Venerable sages. The number of mages was not large.
The man arrived outside, looking forward towards a small town with city walls made of stacked rocks instead of cement or concrete.
Only one mage stood guard, not wearing the uniforms of the three main groups.
The gatekeeping mage only asked Aaron a short question. Aaron said that he was just a wandering mage who had just come from the 89th floor.
"What's your magic tier?" the man asked.
"Integrity Knight," Aaron explained.
Surprised, the gatekeeper mage darted quickly until he was in front of Aaron. He introduced himself as Nash, a city gate mage with the Archmage tier.
Aaron introduced himself as well. He did not hesitate to tell Nash about his real name. Nash was certainly surprised to hear that.
"People have started talking about you. They're calling you a crazy mage!" said Nash.
"Of course they'd call you that, you went through the raid alone, then challenged the boss alone. Are you not at all interested in joining the three main groups?" asked Nash.
The man in front of Nash shook his head. He already had his own group and currently, Shadow Ruler was at the Mid rank group stage, fighting in the inter-group tournament in Lilith City.
Besides, he wasn't that interested in the three main groups either. The Night Liberators hated him, Dimension Justice didn't have a good relationship with Aaron, and Sky Sword was just a friend.
"I'm not interested in that," Aaron said.@@novelbin@@
Just as he was talking to Nash, Aaron was startled after his aura sensitivity detected a strong magical energy from behind his back.
He turned around, and raised his head. He saw three people with sky-blue magic trails flying into the city.
Nash was seen giving a military salute when the three lights entered. That was enough to make Aaron curious.
"Who are those three people?" Aaron asked.
"The person in the middle is Ms. Elsa, President of Sky Sword. The two people on her right and left are her bodyguards, they are at the Archmage stage," Nash explained.
"Then, what about Elsa?" asked Aaron.
"She's at Peak Integrity Knight. I heard, her level has already reached 878, it only takes 122 more levels to arrive at the Young Great Ruler tier," Nash explained.
'Level 878? I expected it, the Presidents of the three main groups must be very strong,' Aaron explained.
"What level are you?" asked Nash.
"576," Aaron replied.
"Hmm... you're still at the beginning of Integrity Knight. Try raising your level to 700, then you can be called an intermediate Integrity Knight," Nash explained.
"Then level 900 for peak Integrity Knight," Nash said.
"How long did it take Elsa to reach the peak Integrity Knight stage?" asked Aaron.
"I don't know. But she was very diligent in clearing the wild monsters. I suspect that's why her level is almost on par with the other presidents, even though she's a woman," said Nash.
'I should know how to raise her level, then I should do something similar like her,'
What do you think?
