“Sell the parts?” Xia Shan glanced at the mechanical parts filling her backpack. Each varied in price from one to five copper coins, and she only needed to sell a few to be able to buy the cheapest… plain steamed buns from the chef in Lionheart City.

The doll girl had suffered such serious injuries! And she was considering feeding her plain steamed buns?

If Xia Shan had a boyfriend who did that, she’d break up with him immediately the next day!

“I can only spend money now,” she mused.

The most expensive food sold by an NPC in Lionheart City that Xia Shan could remember was a bowl named Dragon’s Call Eight-Treasure Porridge.

This item allowed players to recover five thousand health points in seven seconds after consuming it, receive a five percent increase in defensive power and a twelve percent health regeneration rate, along with a special effect known as Dragon’s Call. There was a two percent chance of triggering one hundred points of magic damage with an attack.

Players could use Healing Potions during battle, but food needed to be eaten outside of combat. However, to most players, it was just another buff item!

But to Xia Shan, that was the best porridge in the world, and it cost forty-two silver coins.

It hurts a little… Xia Shan looked at the remaining two thousand yuan in her bank account, which was her living expenses for a month.

But not expensive!

The current price of Gold Coins in Spiritus was merely three hundred thirty-seven yuan per Gold Coin, and one Gold Coin could be exchanged for one hundred silver coins. She was about to spend a little over a hundred yuan to buy a bowl of porridge for the doll girl.

This Priest’s garment was also an epic piece of equipment, known as ‘Life’s Refuge,’ one of the top-tier outfits for a level fifty healer, with effects that increased healing output and buff enhancement, among other things.

However, there was an additional note on this garment that said, “It is said that the wearer shall forever be free from the affliction of diseases.”

From the current situation, it seemed that the garment’s description was merely a legend, as Fureya’s weakened state had yet to improve.

Fureya heeded Mo Shigui’s advice and began to eat Dragon’s Roar Eight Treasure Porridge in small spoonfuls… of legendary quality!

“The food on the table doesn’t have a freshness attribute, so it shouldn’t spoil. I’ll leave these here, and you can tell me what you want to eat.”

Mo Shigui watched as Fureya’s hunger and thirst levels began to rapidly rise, and as the weakened attribute flickered once before disappearing, he stood up from his chair.

This was because his Fureya had another negative attribute: fatigue.

“I’m going to Lionheart City to buy you a bed. By the way, can you leave this tree hollow?” Mo Shigui asked Fureya.

Fureya did not answer, her movement with the spoon stiffened slightly, which Mo Shigui caught.

“I see. It’s best to get some sleep after eating. The next part of the main quest requires your health to be fully restored to trigger it.”

Mo Shigui glanced at his own main quest log, his was still at the same stage as Xia Shan’s—stuck on the second stage of the quest “On the Brink of Death.”

The requirement to complete this quest was “Fureya’s health must reach ninety percent.”

Every negative state that Fureya had reduced her maximum health, and while she was in a state of hunger and thirst, even the best Healing Potion Mo Shigui used could only restore a hundred points of health to Fureya.

Fureya’s health was now at seven hundred points, and the last two hundred points would likely need to be recovered through sleep.

Mo Shigui picked up the shield and longsword from the corner, paused his steps as he reached the entrance of the tree hollow.

“I understand. Eat your fill first,” Mo Shigui said.

After confirming this, Mo Shigui left the tree hollow without looking back, and after he left, Fureya, looking at the brand-new clothes on her body, had a barely discernible smile at the corner of her mouth.
