Seven Deadly Sins System

Chapter 55 Weird Eyeball

Chu Wuyao held the Blood Flag in her right hand and leaned against it, as if she was about to die due to the heavy backlash of using a magic weapon.

Looking at the corpse of the young man in front of her, she breathed a sigh of relief, seemingly relaxing her nerves.

Just then, a transparent figure flew out of the white-haired man's body, and showed itself in the outside world for the first time.

This transparent figure looked exactly the same as the young man, except that it had three heads on its shoulders instead of one.

"Bitch! You've now angered me!", the figure yelled angrily and gritted his teeth as he stared at the weak Chu Wuyao.

But then, he didn't choose to fight against her, but fled towards the distance.

Since he had lost his physical body as a result of underestimating his opponent, the young man wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

As he was flying away, floating a few centimeters above the ground, the young man cursed inwardly and vowed that he would take revenge for today's humiliation.

Time passed by slowly, and in a blink of an eye, a few minutes had passed since the man's escape.

Feeling that no one was chasing after him, he didn't become happy, but was instead filled with doubt.

"Did that woman really become weak?", he thought, feeling that his decision to run might have been a mistake.

Previously, his first thought was that Chu Wuyao was faking it, but now, he was starting to feel that her weakness might have actually been the truth.

His movements stopped and he pondered for a bit, wondering if he should return and finish her off.

Thinking of the fact that she had caused him to lose his physical body, the man made a decision and turned around, ready to take revenge as soon as possible.

But when he turned back, he found that there was a deep darkness behind him.

"What is this?", he asked curiously and raised his head, wanting to see what was capable of blocking the shining moon.

What he saw however caused his entire body to shake in fear.

It was a huge cat head, five meters or so in length, with golden eyes that were staring right at him.

The cat's mouth was open, showing a pair of razor-sharp teeth and some saliva flowed out of its mouth and dripped to the ground, as it was staring at him.

This look was very familiar to the young man and it was the look of an apex predator looking at its next meal.

"Did God sent down a punishment for my sins, or did a Devil curse me?", the man questioned, knowing full well that no matter what, he would not be able to survive tonight.

His thoughts soon proved to be true, as the giant cat head lowered itself and opened its mouth, falling towards towards the place the man was standing.

"In the next life, I'll be try to be a good person!"

These were the last thoughts in the man's mind, as the only evidence that remained in this place of his existence was the chewing mouth that came from the giant cat's mouth.

After the black cat swallowed the three-headed soul, it nodded it head in satisfaction and then turned off its ability, turning into a normal sized, cute, little black cat.

Having dealt with the enemy and completing its master's instructions, the cat didn't stay any longer and chose to run back.

With its speed, it didn't take long for it to return to the place where Chu Wuyao was sitting, clearly waiting for it.

As the black cat saw Chu Wuyao, its golden eyes shone with a dazzling brilliance and it pounced towards her.

"Master, this servant has faithfully completed your instructions!", it shouted and it wanted to hug Chu Wuyao.

Its eyes, which were staring into Chu Wuyao's eyes, showed a "come and praise me" look.

"Bang!"

In response, the black cat received a harsh slap, causing its entire body to be buried underground.

Ignoring this stupid cat's antics, Chu Wuyao turned her attention back to the corpse of the young man.

After she rummaged through it, she managed to find some useful items, but the vast majority of them were completely useless.

Apart from the space ring, only the wooden cane that the man was originally holding seemed to be of some value.

Grabbing the space ring, Chu Wuyao opened it and looked inside with some anticipation.

During the previous experience of counting the loot in the City Lord's mansion, Chu Wuyao had already realized how fun it was.

Just like opening a loot box in a video game in her previous life, you never knew what you would get.

Unfortunately, this also meant that it was very possible that you got would be completely useless.

"Trash! You dare to try and kill me with such little wealth?", Chu Wuyao snorted and spat at the ashes that the young man had turned into.

Chu Wuyao felt that she couldn't be blamed for her reaction.

Inside the space ring, she only found 3 bottles of Qi Pills, one ordinary, mortal sword and a bunch of men's expensive clothes.

Compared to the wealth of Li Zhengyu, this wealth was nothing.

After she transferred the 3 bottles of Qi Pills in her space ring, she threw the other space ring towards the black cat that had just managed to get off the ground and was about to open its mouth to say something.

"Master, my love for you is-"

"Bang!"

The space ring hit its head, interrupting its words and burying its underground once again.

Next, Chu Wuyao picked up the wooden cane and looked at it, hoping that it would actually prove to be something valuable.

Surprisingly, the moment her hand touched the wooden cane, the cane started to transform.

Its whole body disappeared, turning into a white, dense mist, that then gathered together to form a gray eyeball.

As the eyeball fell in her hand, information regarding this item flowed into her her mind, informing her of its functions and uses.

With prior experience, Chu Wuyao quickly digested this information.

"Mirror World?", she muttered in a low voice.

Chu Wuyao immediately realized that it was through this gray eyeball that the young man was able to transfer her to another world.

According to the information she received, this gray eyeball is a strange item, with the ability to allow its holder to construct another space and pull other people in.

In this world, the holder of this eyeball has some authority and is able to use some abilities that beyond their strength.

This all sounds good, but...

"This item is only useful at the Qi Accumulation Realm."

"Moreover, compared to the Blood Flag, this item is way weaker."

"That's not even mentioning the fact that the Blood Flag can continue to become stronger since it is an actual magic weapon, but this strange item can't."

Chu Wuyao didn't need to think for long to realize this gray eyeball's disadvantages and shortcomings.

This made her quite disappointed.

If she had gotten this item earlier, when she had just started cultivating, it might have been very useful, but now, it could only slightly enhance her combat power.

Even, when she inevitably got stronger in the near future, this item would become entirely useless.

"It seems that not all cultivators are as wealthy as Li Zhengyu.", Chu Wuyao sighed and regretfully put the gray eyeball away, hoping that it would prove to be useful in the future.

Then, she got up from the ground, kicked the ashes of the young man one more time, and then hurriedly left this place.

A few minutes later, when the black cat managed to get itself out of the ground again, it found that it was all alone.

Turning its head around, it tried to find Chu Wuyao's beautiful figure but its search ended up to no avail.

Soon, a dejected, sorrowful, choking voice resounded throughout this place.

"Master? Master? You forgot your loyal servant!"
