After Chu Wuyao left the Original Library, she didn't rush to return back to her residence, but was ready to go and visit a person she hadn't met in quite some time.

As a partner, she felt that she had the responsibility to take the initiative.

Soon, she arrived in front of a stone house that was quite similar to those around it, albeit slightly larger.

Chu Wuyao looked around to make sure that no one was near this place, and only after was completely sure did she open the window and jumped inside.

Her actions were very nimble and even though she landed on the hard floor, there was no loud noise or anything like that.

Chu Wuyao nodded her head in satisfaction and she realized that as long as she was willing, she change her job and become an assassin with her current skill set...

Suppressing these thoughts, Chu Wuyao was ready to look around the house, only for a weird smell that was all over the house to assault her nose, making her expression become a little strange.

Her ears twitched and soon, she found that there was a low, breathy female voice coming from one of the rooms on the side.

Chu Wuyao urged her cultivation and concentrated on keeping up the Camouflage ability, then stepped closer towards the source of the sound.

Her hand reached the handle and she was about to open the door, when a loud, passionate voice came from inside, causing her hand to instinctively push the door open.

Unfortunately, this also revealed the source of the sound that she had previously heard.

A beautiful, naked woman was sitting alone under the running, clear water, holding an underwear in her mouth and touching herself with both of her hands.

Seeing this, Chu Wuyao became speechless.

It took a few seconds for Ruan Yi to notice that someone had come in, and when she raised her head, her eyes met Chu Wuyao's.

Instantly, Ruan Yi was filled with embarrassment.

Her cheeks turned red and she wanted to run away and find a hole to hide herself in to escape from this embarrassment.

Some time later, Chu Wuyao leisurely lay on the bed, staring at the silent Ruan Yi who was sitting beside her.

There was an awkward silence in the room, as Ruan Yi had still not recovered from the fact that Chu Wuyao had witnessed her previous personal moments.

Seeing her act like this, Chu Wuyao knew that as a reliable partner, she should step forward and comfort her.

Stretching her hands, she pulled her by from the waist and brought her closer, putting Ruan Yi's head on her lap.

"Actually, it's not your fault."

"Every adult person is free to do whatever they want with their own body.", she spoke up and her her hand picked up a few strands of Ruan Yi's brown hair and played with it.

Chu Wuyao originally thought that her words would relieve Ruan Yi from all the embarrassment, but she soon found that something was wrong.

The embarrassment that Ruan Yi previously had had indeed disappeared, but her expression had turned serious and she was looking at her with a cold gaze.

Moreover, her nose twitched and she moved her head around, as if she was a dog that had discovered something.

For some reason, Chu Wuyao felt that this situation was a little dangerous.

No one spoke for some time, until Ruan Yi broke the silence.

"Why are there traces from other women on you?", she asked expressionless and her words were slow, as if she wanted to emphasize their meaning.

Hearing her question, Chu Wuyao's heart skipped a beat and she thought of Xia Qianyue and her "fight" with her.

Regardless, she didn't show any change on the surface, looking as calm as the sea.

"I don't know what you are talking about.", Chu Wuyao shook her head and denied this accusation.

"But I can clearly sense the traces of other women on y-", Ruan Yi wanted to argue further, but Chu Wuyao reaction was quite fast.

Her hands moved to Ruan Yi's cheeks and she cupped her chin, then brought her face in front of hers.

Her fingers rubbed across Ruan Yi's smooth skin, and her expression turned serious.

"Don't you trust me?", she asked and looked straight into Ruan Yi's brown eyes.

"I do but I can clearly sense trac-", Ruan Yi tried to say something, only for her to be interrupted once again.

"I thought that with the bond that the two of us have, you would actually know how much I love you."

"I didn't expect that you would actually start doubting my devotion to you.", Chu Wuyao spoke in a low voice and by the middle of her speech, her tone was filled with sadness, as if her feelings had been betrayed by Ruan Yi.

This look made Ruan Yi feel quite guilty and she started to wonder whether she had been mistaken.

Looking at Chu Wuyao, whose eyes had become a little blurry, Ruan Yi realized that she might have been completely wrong!

"I-I'm sorry...", she lowered her head and hurriedly apologized.

Seeing this, Chu Wuyao wiped the nonexistent sweat on her forehead and inwardly praised herself for her wit.

Sure enough, if you want to keep a relationship alive, you have to gaslight your partner!

Noticing that Chu Wuyao remained silent, Ruan Yi thought that she was still a little angry and tried to change the subject, hoping to cheer her up.
