Chapter 1295: Great Fairy

Chapter 1295: Great Fairy

This Great Fairy was also a beautiful woman, but with the size that she had...

Looking up at her, it was hard to see her complete figure.

The only thing that could be seen was her face and she was certainly a beautiful woman...but looking up at her like this definitely didn't do her any favours.

After she appeared, the first thing that the Great Fairy did was lean down to look at me which made her come even closer to me. It was a terrifying thing seeing this giant woman lean down to look at me, but I held myself together in the end.

She just looked at me like this for a bit before finally saying, "You're the one that will lead us through this time of calamity."

I couldn't help raising a brow to look up at the Great Fairy before asking, "What do you mean by time of calamity?"

Though I asked this, it didn't seem like she heard me.

Or rather, it was that she acted like she didn't hear me even though she should have heard what I said.

The way that the Great Fairy looked down at me was as if she was sizing me up.

So I didn't back down as I looked right back up at her.

After another moment of silence, she said, "My child, give it to him."

The leader of the fairies gave a nod before taking out what seemed to be a flower.

But the moment that she took out this flower, the rich mana that filled this flower could be felt. It was a kind of mana that seemed like it was beyond the reach of humans or any other

races.

It was the kind of mana that one had to break a limit to reach.

It was similar to the mana of the gods, but there was a trace of divinity that was missing from

it.

The leader of the fairies floated over and presented the flower to me, but I didn't take it.

After all, I didn't know what this flower was and what it could do.

The only thing that I had been able to confirm was that it didn't seem like the fairies meant us any harm.

What it seemed like was that the Great Fairy had met up with the other gods and had heard about what happened. That was most likely why the fairies had come all this way looking for

me.

But even then, it wasn't as if I would just trust something like this flower that was offered to me like this.

After all, this flower was different compared to the relics that had been offered to me previously. Based on the mana fluctuations coming from the flower, this flower wasn't a relic like the ones that had been offered to me before.

This flower was some kind of special item created by the Great Fairy.

So unless the Great Fairy explained what this did, I didn't feel at ease taking it.

That was also because I could sense that from the mana fluctuations coming from it, I had an idea of what this thing did. It was a thing that could influence the space around it, which

meant that it was different from the relics that the gods gave me.@@novelbin@@

This flower was most likely something that the Great Fairy had prepared for the fairies that followed her.

But it wasn't as if I would accept them since I didn't know anything about them.

The Great Fairy seemed to have understood this as well, so she suddenly said, "Human, let me give you this as well."

Right after she said this, there was a large gust of wind that was generated.

That was because she had suddenly flapped the wings on her back.

After she flapped those wings, it seemed that there was something gathered in front of her. It was as if there was some kind of essence that was being condensed in the space in front of her.

One could feel the mana that flowed into this thing that was being condensed which shocked them.

But I was the one that was the most shocked because I knew what this thing was.

I just couldn't believe that the Great Fairy would actually prepare such a thing.

It seemed that the Great Fairy really was putting all her eggs into one basket...

Once it finished condensing, the drop of dew that she condensed floated down towards me. It floated down until it was right in front of me and then just floated in the air, as if it was waiting for me to take it.

The moment that she did this, I could guess what the Great Fairy was thinking.

"Do you really think that I'll be able to help them?"

The Great Fairy revealed a faint smile before saying, "You're the one chosen by the gods, so there's no one better than you. I hope that you will take care of my children for me."

I looked up at the Great Fairy for a bit before slowly nodding.

Just this drop of dew was enough for me to accept her request since it was a very special item. If she was even willing to go this far, that was more than enough to show how desperate she

was.

There was a part of me that wanted to ask what had driven her into this corner, but I knew that she wouldn't actually answer this.

It was just like how the gods avoided answering the questions that I asked them.

So in the end, I grabbed the dew and said, "Leave them to me." After saying this, I also grabbed the flower in the other hand.

A smile appeared on the face of the Great Fairy before she said, "I'll leave it to you."

She turned to the leader of the fairies and said, "My child, please take care of the others."

"I will, mother." The leader of the fairies said in a heavy voice.

At that, the Great Fairy disappeared.
