Chapter 1393 1393: Mother in law (1)

I turned in the direction of that voice and found that there was a door that actually opened in the wall.

There was also a light that was coming from that passage that made it hard to see what was there, but I saw that there was a figure that was standing there.

The one thing that immediately caught one's attention when seeing this figure was the green hair that this figure had.

But that wasn't the reason I was so stunned when I saw this person.

It was rather because I actually recognized this person…

No, it was hard for me not to recognize this person since she was a famous person. Or rather, she was a famous person from the game that this world was based on.

So as someone that had played a ton of that game, it was only natural that I recognized her with a single glance.

But at the same time, it was certainly unexpected to see her in this place since this was not the place that her encounter was. As far as I could remember, she wasn't anywhere near this place…

At the same time, there was another layer of awkwardness since she was technically my mother in law now as well…

Seeing that I didn't say anything and just stood there in a daze, the person standing in the hole in the wall said, "What's wrong with you? Do you not talk or something?"

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this before I gave an awkward cough and said, "I can talk, it's just that I wasn't expecting to see anyone here."

"Is that so? Well, it would be strange to expect someone in a trap like this, right?" She said with a tilt of her head as if it was a natural thing.

But that just made the bitter smile on my face fill with even more bitterness.

After she seemingly teased me for a bit, she suddenly became angry again as she said, "Right, so what was with all that noise and all that light just now? I was trying to sleep and you're the one keeping me up. Don't you know that even if I am beautiful, I still need my beauty sleep?"

I really didn't know what to say when I heard this.

But seeing that it didn't seem like she was going to back down, the only thing that I could do was say with an awkward look on my face, "I was looking for a way out of this place."

With a snort, she said, "Well, there's no reason to be making all that noise. There are ways to look around without making noise, right?"

I shook my head before looking behind her to see what the room she was in was like.

But when I saw the room, the trace of hope that I felt disappeared.

That was because this room was just like the one that I was in. The only difference was that there was some furniture that was inside of that room, but the furniture seemed like it had been added in afterwards.

It didn't seem like the furniture was something that had been in the room previously.

It seemed like she had been in this room for some time now with the way that she had set everything up in the room. It really seemed like she didn't have any intentions of leaving this place with the way that she was set up.

"It's rude to look in a lady's room like this." She suddenly said which pulled me back to my senses.

With that way that I was looking, it was impossible for her not to notice that I was staring.

Looking back at her, I asked, "Do you know a way out? If you know how to open up the wall like this, you should know a way out of this place, right?"

"Nope, this was the only wall that I was able to open up." She said without any hesitation.

A bitter smile once again appeared on my lips, but this time I couldn't tell if she was being serious or not. With the look that was on her face, it really seemed like she didn't know, but I couldn't really believe it.

After all, I knew what kind of personality this person had.

Aisha Bellthorn, the high elf of the elven race.

A free spirit that did things her own way and would always do things that she found interesting. She didn't care about what others thought and just did whatever she wanted, so there was no telling if what she was saying was even the truth.

At the same time, she was Moon's mother…

"You have a Storage Ring on you…how did you get that?"

While I had been looking at her with a strange look, Aisha suddenly asked this.

It didn't take long for her to gather wind magic around herself, which made it seem like she was getting ready to attack at any moment.

I quickly raised my hand when I saw this before saying, "Will you let me explain first?"

Aisha just narrowed her eyes to look at me before slowly giving a nod, though she still didn't release the wind magic that she gathered. She was still surrounding herself in that wind magic as if she was planning on protecting herself with it, while also being ready to attack at any moment if something happened.

Shaking my head, I said with a sigh, "I'm friends with the elves, which is why they gave me this Storage Ring."

Seeing that she was still staring at me with narrowed eyes without saying anything, I then went on to say, "I actually used your name to become closer with the elves and then we became friends."

Aisha raised her hand when she heard this and the wind seemed like it was getting stronger.

But before she could release that wind magic, I pulled out a book and raised it in front of her.
