Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Chapter 1392 1392: Trap door (2)

When I opened my eyes, I found that I was in a dark space where I couldn't even see my nose in front of me.

This was a place that was completely filled with darkness, so much so that other than darkness, there was only darkness.

It really was so dark that I could raise my hand right in front of my face and I wouldn't be able to see it.

In this case, there was only one thing that could be done.

"Snap."

With a single snap of my finger, I summoned a small ball of flames in front of me.

After increasing my mana pool, I had been slowly learning other kinds of magic from Moon.

It turned out that not only did my mana pool increase from carrying around the Staff of Earth, but also my sensitivity to mana. I already knew that this was true to a certain extent, but it was far greater than I thought it would be.

A magician's ability to control mana was dependent on their sensitivity to mana and with my increased sensitivity to mana, I was able to control the mana much easier. Not to mention that I had a large mana pool now because of everything that happened.

So a simple spell like summoning this flame was considered child's play for me.

I really never expected that I would eventually become a magician character, but it wasn't that bad either.

After all, magicians were quite cool.

Using the small flame, I was able to see a few things that were in this room that I had fallen into. But the flame itself was just too small to give off enough light that I was able to clearly see this room.

So after trying to look around this room for a bit with this small flame, I snapped my finger again and there were several more small fireballs that appeared. They were spread out all over the room, creating an array of light that allowed me to clearly see what was around me.

Only there really wasn't much that was around me.

So the only thing that I could do was raise a few of those fireballs up to the roof and look carefully to find the hole that I should have fallen through. Only when the fireballs went up, all I saw was a complete roof.

There wasn't a single hole that was there.

"Strange, I know that I fell down from above, so why is there no hole at all? Is it some kind of mechanism that blocks the hole after the person trapped falls down?" I muttered to myself as I looked at the roof.

Just now, I had suddenly fallen down into a trap hole that appeared.

I had no idea what it was that activated it.

All that happened was that after a clicking sound rang out, the trap hole appeared under me and I started falling. I didn't even have the time to see if anyone else had fallen for the same trap before everything went black.

With how fast I fell…

"Was there something sucking me down?" I couldn't help muttering to myself again as I started thinking about the sensation just now.

It really felt like I had fallen too fast with the way that I fell into the trap hole, but it also didn't feel like some kind of spell. If it was some kind of spell, I would have noticed the change in the mana around me.

After thinking for a bit, I pulled out the Staff of Earth and tapped it on the ground.

But to my surprise, there was nothing that happened.

I couldn't help knitting my brows when I saw this before I started channeling even more mana into the Staff of Earth.

However, it didn't seem like anything was going to work.

Even though I was channeling far more mana in the Staff of Earth compared to usual, it really didn't seem like the powers of the Staff of Earth were working here. It was almost as if the material that this place was made of was something that the Staff of Earth couldn't affect.

"Just what is this place made of?" I couldn't help tapping the ground and saying this after realizing that the Staff of Earth just wouldn't work.

But then I realized…

This was a place that was made by the gods to seal off the Relic of Destruction. This was a place that was made by gods, so it should be created from some kind of divine material.

This was material that had to be resistant enough to the destruction energy that came from the Relic of Destruction. Even though the destruction energy had been leaking from the Relic of Destruction, this place didn't seem like it had broken down yet like other places affected by it.

So the only explanation was that this place was made of a special material by the gods.

But the problem was that I couldn't get out if that was the case.

Even with the Staff of Earth that was a divine relic, I couldn't actually find a way out of this room.

So what was I supposed to do now?

Taking a deep breath, I just once again started going around the room to look for any way out.

I didn't know if there was a way out or if the others were looking for me, but I couldn't just sit still and do nothing. So the only thing that I could do now was look around seriously to see if there was a way out of this place.

I sent the flames all around the room to brightly light this place up and then started tapping on every part of the room with the Staff of Earth.

After what seemed like a long time, I still wasn't able to find a single thing.

"Kachunk."

"Who is the one making all that noise? Why are you making all this noise when I'm trying to sleep?"
