Once that light surrounded me, I didn't feel a single thing when I entered the room.

I knew that there was the pressure that was all around me since I had seen what happened to the flames, it was just that none of that was happening to me.

It was all because of the layer of light coming from the Mark of God that surrounded me.

This layer of light was a protective layer that was keeping the pressure away from me.

At the same time, the layer of light was bright enough that it actually lit up the entire room.

It allowed me to see all the details of the room.

I had to say that there really wasn't much to look at since this room was the exact same as the other rooms. I wasn't certain earlier since the fireballs had been dimmed before I could get a close look, but now I was certain.

This room had the exact same layout as the other rooms that were in this maze.

The only thing that was special was the podium, but the podium itself wasn't actually special at all. The podium was a very simple podium that seemed to be made of stone and on top of this podium was the key that I saw earlier.

Even the key was normal looking.

There wasn't a single thing that was exceptional about this key, it seemed like a sort of metal key that would be used for any normal door.

But I could tell that there seemed to be a strange feeling coming from this key.

That at least showed that it wasn't just any normal key.

At the same time, now that I was close to it, I could feel the pulling sensation that was drawing me to the key. In the first place, this pulling sensation was the reason that I had come into this room.

It seemed that whatever this key was, it was attracting the Mark of God on my hand.

So without a single thought, I moved over so that I was standing in front of the key and then reached down to take it.

There was no resistance at all from the key or anything else in the room, but the moment that I took the key, I could feel that something had changed in this place. It felt like there was something that disappeared.

But then I became certain of what it was as there was something else that disappeared as well.

This was something that I immediately noticed when it disappeared since everything suddenly went dark.

It was the layer of light that had been around me.

That disappeared without a trace when I grabbed the key.

I could still feel the key in my hand which was a good thing and at the same time, there were still some traces of light that came from the fireballs in the other room. So at least I was able to make out a few things.

With this faint trace of light, I turned around and walked back to where Aisha had been.

She had a very strange look on her face as she looked at me.

When I went over to where she was, she suddenly asked, "What was that just now?"

I didn't know how to answer this question, though I didn't get a chance to answer either. The moment that I stepped out of that final room, there was this sound that came from the space around us.

It sounded like there was something cracking all around us.

We didn't see anything at first when we looked around, but soon we found that there were cracks that were appearing in the walls around us. It wasn't just the walls, but also the ceiling and even the ground that was under us.

It seemed like this place was about to collapse all around us.

I looked at the key in my hand when I saw this, but it was already too late to regret taking the key. It wasn't as if putting the key back would do anything to stop the collapse of this place.

The only thing that I could do now was protect myself and Aisha before this whole space collapsed around us.

It seemed that Aisha was thinking the same thing as she suddenly raised her hand and created a green barrier around us.

I could feel the mana that was coming from this green barrier and knew just how strong it was. However, it wasn't as if I wasn't able to do anything at all.

I put away the Staff of Earth and took out a button.

With that button, I created a layer of thin ice all around us that was clear enough that we could see out of it. But at the same time, it wasn't weak either since it wasn't just a single layer of ice that was around us.

There were several layers of ice that appeared around us.

All of them were thin and clear that we could see through them, but stacking them on top of each other made them strong.

At the same time, Aisha could feel a strange sensation coming from the layers of ice that appeared around us.

"You, this ice…" Aisha started to say, but I cut her off.

"Save it for later. We have to survive this before I can answer any questions." I said in a serious voice.

Her expression turned serious as well as she gave a nod and then looked up while raising her hand.

I could see that the green barrier was becoming stronger because of what she did.

It seemed that she was planning on using all of her power to strengthen the barrier.

I also did the same with the ice that was around us.

But in the end, it didn't seem to matter.

When the room around us collapsed, none of the rubble that fell down seemed to reach us.

It was as if there was this invisible force that was pushing aside all of the rubble that fell.
