Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Chapter 1401 1401: Different attitude

When it was all over, the rubble piled up all around us, but there wasn't a single piece that had hit us.

Even the barriers that we had created around us were completely untouched.

It really seemed like there was something invisible that had been protecting us.

Though we didn't let our guard down after everything had seemingly finished collapsing. Even though there wasn't any more rubble that was falling down, we still didn't release the barriers that were around us since we still had no idea if something else would happen.

Only nothing happened in the end.

The only thing that happened was…

"Your majesty, you're safe!"

"Holy son, we've finally found you!"

There were a bunch of voices that came from a distance.

When I turned in that direction, I found that it was a group of my royal guards and a group of holy knights and priests that were running in this direction.

They didn't seem to care at all about the possibility of things collapsing again, but there was nothing that happened.

When they came over, I finally released the barrier of ice that I formed, but they were still kept out by the green barrier that Aisha formed.

It didn't seem like she was going to release that barrier that easily.

Or that was what I thought until I saw that she was looking at the button that I was holding. It seemed that she didn't even care about the rubble or the people that had suddenly appeared, it was as if there was only the button that was in her eyes.

A bitter smile appeared on my face before I put the button away.

When I did, that was when Aisha came back to her senses and noticed all the people around us.

It didn't seem like she had any fear at all as she released the green barrier as well, but it also seemed like she saw the way that they looked at me. It seemed that she knew that they were here because of me.

So the only thing that I could do was take out the button again for her.

Aisha's eyes lit up when she saw this and she wanted to grab the button, but she wasn't able to do so in the end. The button was like the Staff of Earth, unless one was given permission by the gods, they wouldn't be able to hold it.

In the end, what happened was that she grabbed my hand so that she could continue looking at the button without any interruptions.

The holy knights, priests, and royal guards that had been starting to calm down realized what Aisha was doing and started looking at her with strange looks. At the same time, they looked at me with questioning looks as if they were asking what they should do.

An awkward smile appeared on my face when I saw them looking at me like this.

And honestly, how was I even supposed to explain this in the first place?

After a moment of awkward silence, I said, "She's not an enemy, she's a friend."

They once again looked at me with strange looks, but I didn't elaborate this time.

It was hard enough to explain the situation to them, so I didn't want to do that right now. After all, it wasn't as if we were in these ruins just for fun, there was still something else that we had to take care of first.

After clearing my throat, I asked, "Where are the others?"

I didn't see the popes, the leader of the holy knights, or Klein, so I knew that they must have split up to look for me. But now that I was free, we needed to group up to find the Relic of Destruction before anything else.

To my surprise, they actually had a way to contact them.

It seemed like it was some kind of radio, but it was made with magic materials rather than electronics. This was something that they had gotten from the Democratic Union earlier, but it wasn't as if I had been paying attention to everything.

Since they had a way of contacting them, I just let them call them while turning back to Aisha to ask, "What are you planning on doing now?"

"I'll come with you. I want to see what kind of interesting thing you're up to." She said with a wide smile when she heard this.

I actually managed to draw her attention away from the button that she was still examining. For the first time, it seemed that she was interested in something else other than the things that I brought out.

It was strange how her attitude towards me had suddenly changed.

It was almost as if she had become a different person completely, but I knew that it was something else. It seemed that I had attracted her attention and had become someone that she was interested in now.

That was just how carefree Aisha, this high elf was.

But it wasn't as if it was a bad thing.

After all, there was still the matter of me borrowing her name to become closer to the elves and even marrying her daughter in the end. Leaving a good impression on this mother in law of mine was definitely a good thing.

The only problem was how she kept leaning in close towards me.

It was a very awkward position that she took every time.

It was to the point where even the others around me were looking at me with strange looks.

All of them seemed to be whispering something under their breath and I could have sworn I heard the words "harem king" which made three lines appear on my face.

After all, this was something that I had heard before.

Even if polygamy was accepted in this world that was based on an h-game, that didn't mean that people still didn't talk when someone took quite a few wives.

I just had to endure it until the popes arrived with our group.
