While Cecilia and her daughters were reuniting and catching up, Headmaster Olette took the opportunity to organize an event and delivered a speech.
Meanwhile, Leon took Grandmother Veronica to see the little ones.
However, Olette chose not to discuss Cecilia’s situation with the children.
He felt that such an important matter should be explained personally by Rosvisser.
Grandmother Veronica shared the same opinion as Leon.
About half an hour later, the three of them returned to the Headmaster’s office.
By then, Rosvisser and the others were already seated across from Cecilia, their emotions much more stable.
Still, Leon keenly noticed that his wife’s eyes were slightly red, and the delicate makeup she had applied in the morning had been smudged.@@novelbin@@
He stepped forward to stand beside Rosvisser, silently pulling a tissue from his pocket and handing it to her.
Rosvisser took it and nodded at Leon.
The three of them shared an unspoken understanding—words were unnecessary.
