SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 346 Good bye system

Boom! Boom! Quin crashed through a house, breaking the first wall and going on to break through the second wall. He landed on the street, rolled, and finally came to a stop.

He coughed up blood and struggled back to his feet, his legs shaking as he struggled to stand. He held his sword with both hands, the black flame covering the entire sword, his eyes closed to slits.

The demonized walked through the building that Quin had just gone through. It came out and looked at Quin still standing.

"I have to admit, you are stronger than I expected. I'll give you that. If you followed us and joined our ranks, you could receive what we all received and become stronger."

"And end up looking like you? Sorry, but I'm not interested," Quin said.

The demonized sneered and charged at Quin. Quin glanced to his side and spotted a huge piece of rock. As the demonized got really close, he used a shadowy hand to pull the rock and slam it into the head of the demonized.

The blow was big enough to stop it and cause it to get distracted, and that was when Quin moved. He ran as fast as his feet could carry him and made it behind the demonized. He jumped and stabbed his sword into the back of the demonized, then used his legacy, channeling his black flames through the sword and into the back.

The demonized roared in pain and grabbed Quin. He threw Quin so hard that Quin smashed through another set of houses. Then he pulled the sword out of his back and threw it to the ground.

Quin smashed through walls, hitting his head and entire body. He finally came to a stop, lying in rubble, completely covered in blood and not moving again.

The heavy footsteps of the demonized got closer, and he finally appeared. He looked down at Quin. "You had your chance," he said and was ready to land the final blow.

Out of nowhere, a massive bolt of lightning slammed into the demonized and threw him meters away.

Fang landed on the scene with Gallan and Dawn. Quin managed to open his eyes, and as he saw the three of them, he smirked slightly. "Nice," he said before passing out.

"There are lines you don't cross, and beating up my master's brother is definitely one," Dawn yelled. She grabbed her sword, ready to chop heads off.

"Gallan, to my side. Dawn, climb on," Fang said. Dawn immediately climbed on. Fang charged at the demonized that was already standing while Gallan ran at the side.

"It doesn't matter the number. You will all die!" he roared and charged at them.

"In your dreams," Dawn said. Flames covered her entire sword and stretched to cover her arm and part of her upper body. She jumped from Fang's back and came down with a powerful slash.

The demonized had to think fast. He crossed both hands to block the attack, but the sword cut right through, cutting off both hands.

A look of disbelief formed on his face, but before he could cry out in pain, Gallan flanked his side and chopped off one leg. Fang leaped into the air and bit into the neck of the demonized, landing the finishing blow. The body of the demonized fell to the ground lifeless.

"It was one of the weaker ones," Gallan said as he walked close to the body.

"We don't have time to chat. The stronger ones have started moving. Without the guardians, dealing with them will be difficult. Let's take Quin back to the hideout and find the rest," Fang said. Gallan carried Quin, and they left the scene as quickly as they arrived.

Silva was above the dome, about to land the attack that he had prepared. The continuous dragon breath had heavily weakened the dome, and all he needed to do now was land the final hit that would finish everything.

Suddenly, he felt a powerful shock run through his body—a shock from the system. The shock affected all the clones, and it nearly stopped them, but Silva gritted his teeth and kept moving.

He didn't understand why the system was against him at such a time. He didn't do anything against order, right?

The shock continued running through his body, but Silva tried to fight back, even though it was getting too much.

[Leave the kingdom. Return to the empire now.]

A direct and urgent message came through to Silva from the system, but he ignored it and tried to keep his focus. But the electricity got so much that all eleven of his minds could not focus, and the clones struggled to stay in their current state.

Suddenly, Silva was pulled into the system's space. He opened his eyes and saw the system there, but this time, the system was pulsing wildly like it would explode.

"What's happening? Why am I being attacked?" Silva asked.@@novelbin@@

[Someone wants you to leave here now and head back to the empire, and they are forcing me to try and stop you, but I don't want to.

I'll try my best to stop it, but that would mean completely going against myself and probably destroying myself in the process. So if this is the last time that we speak, I want you to know that it's been a fun ride.

Also, a message from Ophelia has been struggling to get through for a while now, but it's being blocked. Luckily, I managed to get it.

Ophelia said, (Run, uncover the truth, don't stop, and also help me). That was what I could decipher. Now head back and finish this thing, and if this is the end, goodbye.]

The system kicked Silva out before he could say anything. The electrocution was still happening, but then all of a sudden, it stopped. Find your next read at My Virtual Library Empire

But that was not all that stopped. Silva felt like something had left him—something was missing.

"System. System," he called out, but there was no response whatsoever. He took a deep breath. "Thank you, System," he said, and for the first time in a very long while, tears dropped from his eyes—for a system.
