Chapter 347 Heading to the Castle

Silva thought about what the system said before it did what it did. It said Ophelia asked for help. What could possibly make her ask for help? She also asked him to keep going. If she was the one that tried to use the system to stop him, why would she ask him to keep going, and why would she ask for help?

"Maybe because Ophelia didn't want to stop you. Maybe someone else is the reason for all this?" a mind said, and the others agreed.

"I see. So I've lost Ophelia, and now the system. I guess it just gets worse from here," Silva said.

"You can't be worried about that now. Your friends might be dying inside there right now. The fact that your clones are still here and attacking downtown means everything that you gained before the system went away still belongs to you, and that's enough to keep you going for now," another mind said.

Silva nodded. What his mind said was true. He looked down at the spot that the clones were attacking and raised his sword into the air. He channeled the power of will with only the thought.

"I'm ready. You guys move," he spoke to the clones, and they immediately flew away. Silva slashed down. He did his best to compress the attack as much as he could to make sure that it hit a part of the dome, the point that had been weakened.

A bright light flashed as he slashed down, and for a moment, he couldn't see. When he could see, he saw a thin, compressed sword light traveling to the center of the dome.

The sword light collided with the spot that had been forcefully weakened by the flames. What followed was a massive explosion. The dome started shattering instantly. The sword light tore through it and headed into the capital.

The sword light hit the ground and sent out a powerful wave that destroyed houses for a wide distance. Discover stories with My Virtual Library Empire

Everyone in the capital felt it, and they noticed the dome around them was gone. In the sky stood a presence, with a sword in his hands and a killing intent so strong it reached those on the ground.

Beside him were ten figures who looked like him, all brimming with rage and anger.

"Take them down. Kill them all. Destroy everything that belongs to them. Show no mercy," Silva said, talking to the clones and the guardians down on the ground.

All the clones nodded and shot to different locations in the capital. The real war had started. Silva slowly descended. As his feet touched the ground, a group of demonized were already charging his way, about five in total.

Silva didn't say a word. He pulled his sword back and then slashed, releasing a flame arc over twenty feet wide.

The demonized were not expecting this sort of attack. They all focused on trying to dodge, but suddenly, tendrils came out of the ground and houses, grabbing hold of them and stopping them from moving. The flame arc cut through all of them, leaving their burning bodies on the floor.

Silva continued walking, not sparing them a second glance. His target was the castle because he believed that was where the main people behind this would be seated.

As he walked, he heard the scream of a lady. He turned and saw that it was a hobgoblin woman, and her son was about to be killed by a demonized. The son was in its arms, and it was ready to crush the boy. Silva moved in a flash. The head of the demonized vanished, and blood sprayed.

Silva caught her son and brought him to her. She quickly grabbed her boy with tears pouring from her eyes. She looked up at the person that had saved her son, and it was Silva, her king.

"My king," she said.

"I'm sorry. This is all my fault, and I promise to fix it," Silva said and got up. He left the woman there and continued walking.

By now, the guardians and the clones had already started dealing with the situation and helping the people. His own target was the castle.

As he got closer, the demonized were waiting for him. Of course, they knew he was coming—a huge number of them, over twenty, all standing tall and looking furious.@@novelbin@@

But Silva didn't have the time for them. He bit into his hand and drew blood. With a thought, he activated Hell's Gate. The gate appeared above them as the suction force pulled them all in with ease. It closed up and vanished away.

Silva noticed one thing with these demonized, though. They were not as strong as Lena. They were by far weaker for some reason—not that it was his problem.

He made it into the castle compound and headed for the main building. Suddenly, the door slammed open. Lia and Amber came running out.

His face lit up when he saw them, but then it went dark when he saw a host of demonized following them out, chasing them to kill them.

He took one step and then vanished. He moved so fast that it was like he teleported. Instantly, fountains of blood filled the air as heads flew in all directions and their bodies fell to the ground.

After he killed them all, he ran to Lia and Amber. The two of them were shocked to see him. They both ran to him and hugged him.

"Silva, where were you all this time?" Lia asked and hit his chest.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be back earlier. This is all my fault, but I'll fix it now. I'll make sure that I kill everyone that laid a hand on you," Silva said.

"You have to go and help your brother, Mike. He is inside trying to fight the demonized. I don't think he can take them on," Amber said.

A flash of worry showed on Silva's face when he heard that. He turned and rushed into the castle without a single thought. All that was on his mind was to not let Mike die.
