SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 355 Summoning an army

After what Quin said, no one thought to say anything again. They decided that they would simply listen and do what Silva wanted.

"Silva wants us to head to the Elf Empire. I'll contact my father tonight, babe, tell him of the development. Tomorrow morning, we will leave," Amber said.

"I don't get it, though," Aaron said.

"What's that?" Quin asked.

"This whole thing... I don't understand it. Our lives, everything, seems like some sort of massive lie that we can't seem to control.

Yet somehow, Silva knows what is happening behind the scenes. I get that Silva is special, but the question we have never asked ourselves is why he is special.

I don't understand because there is no special person that exists without a use. The heroes and demon kings have a use, but Silva is far more special than them, so his use can't be the same as theirs.

So I don't get what it is that makes Silva special. If I understood what it was, maybe I would be able to help him more," Aaron said.

"It's the same for me. The only people that I believe have a look into what he carries and why he is the way that he is are the guardians," Quin said. He picked up a pebble and tossed it into the air before catching it.

"But we have more chance of getting it out of Silva himself than out of the guardians. They have been friendly with us all this while, but in reality, none of them really have a connection with us.

And I can understand why. To them, we are weak drawbacks for Silva, stopping him from being what he needs to be," Quin said. He tossed the stone again and caught it.

"So what is the reason for this?" Lia asked. She was confused as to why Aaron and Quin were saying all this.

"It's for a simple reason," Aaron said and looked at Quin. "To find the truth behind Silva and to understand the motives behind what he does." Aaron looked at Amber.@@novelbin@@

"Amber, you are a princess and also a demon king candidate. You have access to things that many people don't—information and lots more.

I want information on the dark dragons, their past, their truths, and the details of their lives. Maybe we can get some information about Silva from there," Aaron explained.

"It's possible. If I take you to the Grand Library, there should be information about the dark dragons there, enough for you to get something useful," Amber said.

The night passed, and morning came—a new day, with new possibilities. But to Silva, it was the day that he said goodbye to his family.

Amber prepared the portal for them to head back to the Elf Empire.

Quin walked to Silva. He stretched out a hand to shake, but Silva went for a hug. After a few seconds, Silva let go.

"That's new," Quin said.

"May never get to do it again. Might as well do it now," Silva said.

"I know you, Silva. You won't die anytime soon," Quin said.

"I think we have established that I am not the best at protecting life," Silva said as a joke.

"Nah, all that happened was a fluke. I wish it was a dream and that I could actually live a happy, married life, but I can't. And that's why you're going to go and take revenge.

For my sake and our parents' sake, the vengeance loses meaning when you die, so you can't die. That would be taking defeat," Quin said. He patted Silva's shoulder and walked away, entering the portal.

Lia was next. She walked to Silva and hugged him tightly.

"You and Quin are all I have left, and I'm not losing either. So be safe. You aren't allowed to die, and you have to come back to me no matter what. Do you understand?" she asked in a crying tone.

"Hey, I thought you wanted me to see you as a woman and not a sister. How can I if you are tearing up like this?" Silva said. She heard that and hit his chest with a small punch.

She let go of Silva and walked to the portal. She looked back one last time and walked into it.

After her, Fay walked up. She didn't hug or shake Silva; she just stood and looked him in the eye. "You understand that we are yet to finish the sword practice we started all that time ago in the forest."

"Yeah, that was just some months back, yet it feels like it has been years," Silva said and then hugged her. He let her go, and then she walked into the portal. She looked back at Silva at the last moment before entering.

Aaron was the last person. He walked to Silva, and before he could say anything, Silva hugged him.

"I know what you want to say, and honestly, you don't need to. Everything you did was to ensure that I was on the right path. You tried to make sure I didn't do too much.

Sadly, you won't be with me for this part of the journey, and I'm certain that I'll go overboard. I'm sorry," Silva said.

"Don't apologize. This time, you deserve to go all out. After everything that happened, there is no way I'm telling you to stop," Aaron said. He left Silva and entered the portal.

Amber nodded at Silva before she walked into the portal as well. As the portal closed, Silva's expression darkened. All the light and shining mood he had shown vanished.

The only people with him now were the guardians—Dawn, Gallan, and Fang. Silva raised his hands, and suddenly, abyssal creatures—his summons—started appearing. It continued until there were about a thousand.

The guardians, Fang, Gallan, and Dawn were shocked when they saw this. They couldn't believe their eyes at all.

"Drake, Lily, head to the Labyrinth and take the core. Lead the abominations as well—all of them. We are kickstarting this war," Silva said. Drake and Lily nodded, immediately teleporting to the Labyrinth.
