Chapter 356 Elaine and Lilith
Drake and Lily soon led an army of more than five hundred to a thousand abominations to where Silva stood with the abyssal army.
When they arrived, the mixture of the abominations and the abyssal creatures made a very terrifying image.
Some of the abominations and abyssal creatures could fly, so Silva had them fly up to watch above while they moved on land.
After everything was set up, Drake walked to Silva. He stood beside Silva and looked at their army.
"So what do we do now, master?" Drake asked.
"Well, we start war with humanity. We will take every kingdom in our way, rip them to the ground, and grow our army until it is endless," Silva said. Experience new stories on My Virtual Library Empire
There was still a lot more he was yet to summon, like his skeletal army, but he would do that when he got into battle.
"So whatever comes in our way, we tear them down?" Drake asked.
"Correct. Our war is with humanity and not with the empire alone. We will be a plague," Silva said. He looked at the army before him. "Move out," he ordered, and they immediately started moving in formation, abominations and summons alike.
"Fang, Gallan, Dawn, Jade, and Selax, you four head to the front of the line. That's your position for now," Silva said. The four of them bowed slightly and made their way to the front of the line, leading the army.
Silva, Drake, Lily, and the rest were at the back, with Kratos flying above them. The march had begun, and their pace was not slow.@@novelbin@@
They moved faster than horses and covered a long distance in a short time. Silva wanted to get this over with, so he made sure that they traveled fast.
The first place they would have to go through on the way to the empire was Ronan, and Silva wanted to wipe that place off the face of the map completely.
He had a plan that would involve him causing a massive rabbit wave. He would use his army to force the rabbits into running, and they would enter Ronan in their thousands.
If they made it into Ronan, the rabbits would begin the job of causing extreme havoc. The people would already be in disarray before Silva even arrived, and so they would have the advantage in the fight.
A tall tower stood in the middle of nowhere, its walls black as the night, its aura like the abyss. Darkness clouds surrounded this tower, lightning and thunder ravaged the skies, and lightning hit the ground.
With every strike, a force so powerful caused an explosion so massive that craters were left. Not a single living thing could be seen around it for as far as tens of kilometers.
The soil was dead and completely empty—a barren space where the day seemed nonexistent, and only the dark of night survived.
The only light that existed there was the crystal at the top of the tower, shining its light like a beacon to help lost people know where to go. Yet, no one would dare come near this tower.
A figure could be seen approaching the doors of this tower—a woman. She walked without any caution, like she already knew what to expect. The lightning avoided her, as if she had a way to repel it.
This figure was none other than the demon king Elaine. She stood before the door and placed her hands on it. A light shined under her hands, and the door opened by itself, letting her in.
Immediately after she stepped in, the door closed, and a spiral of stairs started appearing. She started ascending, and with each step she took, another stair would appear, while one disappeared behind her.
She walked up, her face emotionless as she kept climbing. She set up several stairs, and then the stairs stopped coming.
"I am in no mood to play now, Lilith," Elaine said.
"Oh, come on, have a little fun," a childish voice spoke out of nowhere.
"We are not here for fun. There is war at hand, and we need to plan," Elaine said.
"You already know what is going to happen, right, Elaine? Since you have the fate lines, you don't need planning. Also, what else are we going to do? We must fight as expected," the voice of Lilith said.
"All that doesn't matter now. Allow me to get to the meeting hall," Elaine said.
"Why are you in such a rush? Velora is up there throwing a tantrum about the fact that you had the child, the demon king candidate, and you let him live the life he wanted.
I had to leave there. The meeting had not even started, and I already had a headache," Lilith said.
"It's impossible for you to have a headache, Lilith," Elaine said.
"Well, Velora has proved that wrong," Lilith responded.
"That bloodsucker has a way of getting on people's nerves. She feels special because she rules the vampire race in secret," Elaine said.
"Ohhh, that reminds me. I had some things to do with Velora a few months back, and she took me to the vampire realm. It's very well hidden and secure, even more than the elf empire.
It's eternally night there, and only artificial light is used. The place is pretty good. I could learn to live there," Lilith said.
"Lilith, allow me to get to the meeting. If I let you keep talking, you will go off track and never stop. A lot is at stake here, and the others are waiting for me," Elaine said.
"Sigh, boo, you are no fun today. Well, either way, I'll see you at the top," Lilith said, and her voice vanished. As soon as her voice vanished, the stairs started appearing again, and Elaine continued climbing up.
After a while, she finally reached the end of the stairs, and it led to a massive double door that should normally not fit into the architecture of this tower, but somehow, it did.
She placed both hands on the door and pushed it open.
What do you think?
