STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Chapter 128 Joint Training Facility

Jeremy Night left the dorm building and started going towards the Department Building. He didn't know what Betsy and Daniel were up to these days.

When he got there, he came across the other department students. After nodding to them, he quickly approached the lift and entered.

Shortly afterward, he arrived at the top floor. Then he stepped out of the lift and started walking towards his class. He reached the class and saw the door was open.

As he entered the class, he saw Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone, as well as the Department Instructor, Jacob.

"Jeremy, you are back!" Betsy uttered upon seeing him. Daniel Stone and Instructor Jacob looked at him as well.

"I heard you went with Violet Heath on a mission. What happened?" Jacob asked.

Hearing that, Jeremy felt it was best not to tell him. Before coming here, he read the reply from Dean Carolyn. She is going to send a team to investigate.

"Yes, it's okay," Jeremy lied.

Jacob nodded. He just asked casually.

"Brother Jeremy, we have been training hard. We wanted you to test our strength," Daniel Stone said.

Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned. He looked at both of them.

"Yes, we have been waiting for you," Betsy Lowe added.

Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows before asking, "You can use the Training Ground. They have Tier-2 Beasts locked up."

Hearing that, Betsy and Daniel exchanged glances. Jeremy didn't understand their reaction.

But Instructor Jacob said, "Kid, they actually wanted to see the gap between you and them."

He revealed the truth. The faces of Betsy and Daniel turned serious because it was the truth. They had been hearing about Jeremy Night's strength before coming to Central University 14.

But they had yet to see it for themselves. The Beast Invasion had provided a good opportunity, but they were separated back then.

Jeremy sighed inwardly. He didn't know what their reaction would be if he told them about the dangerous area. He himself had fled from the Black Lake to save his life.

After pushing down these thoughts, Jeremy decided to agree. Once he was done with them, he had a plan to look for a movement technique.

"Alright, I agree. But where should we test our strength?" Jeremy asked.

"Ha… Ha… Ha… great. Brother Jeremy, I'm going to see your strength for the first time," Daniel Stone said with a laugh.

"Are we allowed to use our lifeline beasts?" Betsy asked with a smile. But her eyes hid some scheme. She wanted to catch Jeremy off guard.

Jeremy's eyes flickered. It's been some time since they became classmates, but he had yet to know about their lifeline beasts. He didn't want to ask this question.@@novelbin@@

Because he himself didn't want others to know about his lifeline beast.

"Okay," he said.

"If you guys are ready, then we can go to our first-year joint training facility. The other department students must be training there as well," Instructor Jacob said.

Hearing that, Jeremy frowned. He had a negative view of other department beast tamers since they were using the first-year training facility. He could handle other department students if problems arose.

"Other departments? What if they cause problems?" Daniel Stone asked.

He became wary of other departments. Those people would intentionally do some unnecessary stuff.

"Don't worry, there are separate rooms. We can use one of the rooms, then we can block others from entering and watching our duel," Instructor Jacob reminded.

Jeremy relaxed. He was eager to use the training facilities as well. He wanted to further improve his basic combat. The fight in the dangerous area had exposed a lot of his shortcomings.

"Let's go," Jacob said.

Then the three of them stood up and started following him.

Shortly afterward, they left the department building. The other nearby students looked at them with surprise. It was a rare sight for them to see everyone from the STRIKER Department leave together.

It didn't take long for Jeremy and the others to arrive at the joint training facility. Their arrival caused a commotion. At this point in time, everyone in the first year was familiar with the STRIKER Department.

More importantly, they knew who Jeremy Night was.

Jeremy found many gazes on him. Most of the gazes were filled with curiosity and surprise. He could understand their emotions.

Because people who came here to train had combat-related talent, while a few others relied on their lifeline beasts to train.

But the STRIKER Department was totally different. They had body-type talent. Not many people in history used body-type talent to shine in their careers.

Jeremy put these thoughts behind him and continued to follow Instructor Jacob. They were going to the end of the corridor.

The Beast Tamers who were training here were quite surprised. They stopped their activities and started following them out of curiosity.

A wide, spacious metallic chamber came into sight. This long corridor had metallic chambers on both sides. The metallic chambers had duel platforms and equipment.

The duel platform was spacious enough for lifeline beasts to appear and fight. To withstand the power of the lifeline beasts, these special training chambers were built.

They arrived at the last room that was currently available. The other chambers were occupied by other students.

Instructor Jacob showed his I.D when the scanning was done.

Creak!

The door opened automatically.

Then the four of them walked inside. Under the gazes of many, the door behind them shut automatically.

"Wow!"

"They have come here to train."

"We only knew Jeremy Night. What about the other two?"

"Were they strong?"

"It's a pity that we can't see them training."

Those who were nearby started discussing among themselves.

Inside the chamber, Jeremy and the others saw the huge duel platform. All three sides of the platform had specially built walls. On top of it, there was a barrier function to cover the duel platform completely.

"Who is going to fight first?" Jacob asked.

"I'm going," Betsy said before stepping onto the platform.

Jeremy smiled. He was eager to see their training results.
