Jeremy felt relaxed since the Captains were going to take action. They didn't have to worry about getting swarmed by Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.

But still, any one of them could cause a lot of deaths.

"Guys, believe in the Captain. All the Captains are Tier-5 Beast Tamers. They can handle the Tier-4 Beasts," Norton's voice sounded in their ears.

Ken, standing beside him, relaxed. He told his Lifeline beast monkey not to worry.

Only then did the Red Eyes Monkey recover its posture.

Jeremy's gaze fell on the Tier-4 Beast coming toward them.

Boom!

As they crossed halfway into the battlefield, the Tier-5 Captain started attacking the Tier-4 Beast horde.

Boom!

One after another, deafening noises sounded. The battlefield was covered with a dust storm. The Tier-5 Beast Tamers had deterred the beasts from charging forward.

They rooted in the same place while cowering in fear.

Cheer!

Seeing that, the front line Beast Tamers cheered out loud. It immediately reduced the pressure faced by the low-level Beast Tamers.

But the happiness didn't last long. When the Tier-4 corpses started to pile up, it showed no sign of ending. There was a never-ending emergence of Tier-4 Beasts from the wilderness.

The Captains obviously couldn't fight for a long time. Unless the higher-ups kill the mastermind behind the invasion, it won't stop.

As time passed, some of the Captains got tired. Their relentless attacks had caused the consumption of energy in their mental zone.

Swoosh!

This caused a few of the Tier-4 Beasts to slip away under their noise.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night was smiling. But his smile froze when he felt heart palpitations.

Moo!

Senior Norton's brown cow lifeline beast was cowering in fear.

Jeremy's expression changed drastically. He quickly circulated starlight energy in his body and then covered the katana blade again with starlight.

It immediately drew attention.

"Jeremy, what happened?" Ken asked.

Roar!

Red Eyes Monkey roared again, facing the threat. Ken quickly realized what was going on. His eyes flashed with fear.

"It's Tier-4; one of the escaped beasts is coming toward our team," Norton shouted.

Jeremy gripped the katana tightly. It was his first time facing a Tier-4 Beast. He didn't want to get injured by this beast.

A quick gleam flashed in his eyes.

He had yet to use the Triple Rapid Cuts move. He was going to use it now.

Roar!

The Tier-4 Beast got closer. The brown cow and Red Eyes Monkey were terrified. Both of them quickly called back their lifeline beasts to their mental zones.

Jeremy wasn't surprised. If their mental zone got hurt, it would be difficult to recover.

At the same time, Captain Mirza noticed one of the Tier-4 Beasts targeting her team. Her expression changed drastically.

She wanted to help, but her hands were tied down right now. There was a swarm of Tier-4 Beasts in front of her, threatening her colleagues and her.

Commander Harris, standing above the clouds, noticed the situation as well. His eyes flickered.

"Carolyn's favorite Beast Tamer is going to die!"

He made a blunt judgment. It was impossible for a Tier-1 Beast Tamer to survive an attack from a Tier-4 Beast.

He had watched Jeremy's previous performance. Though it was shocking, he felt it was reasonable. That kid was A-Grade Talent. It was normal to have some skill set.

He had also noticed the abnormal white energy covering Jeremy's katana blade. He suspected it was a lifeline beast ability. It had helped that kid survive the attack of a Tier-3 Beast before.

But he doubted whether the white energy could break the defense of a Tier-4 Beast. If he didn't break the defense, it would be difficult to kill it.

He disappeared from the spot and appeared above Jeremy Night and his friends. The other Commanders were surprised.@@novelbin@@

They had never seen Harris take any interest in Beast Tamers.

On the ground, Jeremy and the others didn't know they had attracted the attention of Commander Harris.

The Tier-4 Beast was a few steps away from them. It was a four-legged hybrid tiger. It stood above 15 ft tall, appearing majestic.

Yet it was filled with menace. It wanted to rip apart the humans in front of it. The beast looked frightening.

Ken's legs lost strength. He collapsed on the ground.

Norton's face lost color. He was just a Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He lacked the courage to face it.

All of a sudden, the other Beast Tamers, who stood to form a chain, suddenly separated from them. They moved away in fear.

Jeremy calmed his heart at the last moment. His talent came into play. His senses heightened.

Roar!

The Tiger Beast set its gaze on him. He was the one not fearing it. The beast grew enraged and decided to bite his neck off.

Swoosh!

In one leap, the Beast's humongous body came before his sight. If he delayed any further, the beast might succeed in killing him.

Triple Rapid Cut!

He immediately executed the sword move. He swung the starlight-filled blade in three rapid succession, targeting the Beast's body.

Slice!

The starlight-filled blade made contact with the Tiger Beast's foreleg.

Clang!

A metallic collision sounded.

The katana blade was visibly vibrating. The starlight energy managed to make scratches, but it didn't help the blade penetrate.

Roar!

Jeremy's heart skipped a beat. He knew he was in trouble. The Tiger-4 Tiger Beast casually shook it off.

Boom!

Like a bullet, his body flew backward at great speed before smashing into the ground a couple of hundred meters away.

Pfff!

Jeremy coughed up a mouthful of blood as he tried to get up. He felt a heart-wrenching pain from his chest.

"It was a casual flick. Yet I was thrown away like dust," Jeremy thought.

"Don't get up!"

A deep voice sounded in his ears. He felt it was familiar. But when he raised his head, he saw the Tier-4 Tiger Beast turn into blood mist in front of his eyes.

Gasp!

A gasp escaped Jeremy's mouth.

He then saw the person who saved them was none other than Commander Harris.
