Lin Shen watched as one Nirvana Creature after another ascended the Jade Level, only to be burned to death one by one, with not even one making it halfway.

Yet numerous Nirvana Creatures still bravely continued on, unafraid of life and death, crawling up the Jade Level.

Ascending to Immortality is even more difficult than achieving Nirvana. For Nirvana, there is a path of Minor Nirvana that one can take, but there's no such shortcut to Immortality, not even by consuming an Immortal Egg. While the two of them were conversing, they saw another Nirvana Creature step onto the Jade Level.

This time, the creature ascending the Jade Level was a colossus, standing over a dozen meters tall, his entire body like that of glittering gold.

After he stepped on the Jade Level, flames, as strange as ever, burned forth, emanating from within his body, not caused by an external force.

This Golden Colossus, however, was different from the previous Nirvana Creatures. The flames could not only not burn him to char, they actually made his golden body even more resplendent.

"This Golden Colossus seems to have a hope of making it up," Lin Shen also wanted to know what would happen after these Nirvana Creatures made it to the top.

With each step, the Golden Colossus moved upwards laboriously.

Strangely enough, those Nirvana Creatures of smaller stature could only advance one Jade Level at a time.

The Golden Colossus, massive in size, could only cross one Jade Level at a time as well. The size of the Jade Level seemed unaltered, and the giant's body showed no change, making the effect puzzling.

As the Golden Colossus crossed halfway up the Jade Level, his body, honed by the fire, shone brilliantly, dazzling like the sun.

Yet his footsteps seemed to grow heavier, slowing down to a crawl, almost unable to continue moving forward.

At that moment, the Golden Colossus let out a roar to the sky, his golden radiance flashing, myriad glinting golden particles taking flight, coalescing in his hand into a Golden Hammer Life Base.

Boom!

The moment the Golden Hammer appeared, thunder and lightning spontaneously generated from the void, hurtling towards the Golden Hammer.

Astonishingly, the Golden Hammer wasn't shattered by the lightning strikes as the Life Bases of the other Nirvana Creatures were.

The lightning continued to strike the Golden Hammer, raveling through it to spread across the body of the Golden Colossus.

The ceaseless thunder and lightning birthed from the void seemed drawn to the Golden Hammer, all of it converging there, and the Golden Colossus along with the Golden Hammer became suffused with electrical light—almost turning into a being of lightning.

In such a state, the Golden Colossus's strides became much more nimble, its footsteps accelerating as it approached the gates of the Celestial Court at the end of the Jade Level.

Bathed in thunder, the Golden Colossus now resembled a deity of thunderous battle, its entire body engulfed in lightning.

Lin Shen watched, dumbfounded. The strength fluctuations emitted by the lightning were terrifying even from where he stood, yet the Golden Colossus managed to steadfastly ascend, truly an impressive feat.

Finally, the Golden Colossus reached the end of the Jade Level and arrived at the gates of the Celestial Court, the lightning and flames on its body having vanished without a trace.

The body of the Golden Colossus had noticeably slimmed down from before, but its golden frame appeared even more textured and solid than earlier.

The Golden Colossus placed its hands on the gates of the Celestial Court, golden light surging over its body as it mustered all its strength to push the doors open.

But no matter how hard it pushed, the gates of the Celestial Court remained immoveable.

In front of the majestic Celestial Court gates, the towering figure of the Golden Colossus seemed rather small in comparison, like an ant trying to shake a tree.

"We've come all this way, yet the gates won't even open. This Celestial Court is really stingy," Lin Shen muttered to himself.

Just as the Golden Colossus appeared to fail in its attempt to open the celestial gates, the space around it began to warp.

Streams of golden light emerged from the void, converging behind the Golden Colossus, where an enigmatic golden symbol started to take shape.

"That is... the Mark of Immortality... The Golden Colossus is ascending to immortality..." Lin Shen was somewhat astonished.

He hadn't expected that ascending to the Celestial Court could truly lead to immortality, and Wei Wufu had guessed it right.

From the Mark of Immortality on its back, the Golden Colossus emanated a mysterious strength, and under the glow of this mark, its body gradually began to change.

Two additional pairs of arms emerged from beneath its ribs, and the head on its shoulders split into three, becoming a being with three heads and six arms, resembling a demonic deity.

As the power of the Mark of Immortality was unleashed, the three-headed, six-armed Golden Colossus grew even larger, as if it were a golden demon that had stepped out of hell.

Its six golden palms pressed against the gates of the Celestial Court, and a terrifying power burst forth, warping the surrounding space, making it look unreal.

The gates of the Celestial Court finally budged, opening a slight gap. The three heads of the Golden Colossus roared in unison, its power erupting anew as it forced the gates open and charged in with a bellow.

"Incredible!" Lin Shen marveled inwardly. The strength the Golden Colossus demonstrated after ascending to immortality was beyond his comprehension. All he could see was a flurry of golden light, his vision no longer clear.

"An Undying Creature ascends to the divine altar, bestowed with the Celestial Soldier's Divine Position." A voice emanated from within the Celestial Court, uttering that simple sentence before the opened gates thunderously closed.

"What the heck? Celestial Soldier's Divine Position? Such a formidable creature, and that's just a Celestial Soldier's Divine Position?" Lin Shen was taken aback in his mind.
