"Someone else's drink..." Ouyang Yudu wanted to say something, but he saw that Lin Shen had already poured the drink onto the surface of the umbrella.

He was surprised to find that the drink had seeped into the umbrella, just as it had before.

Soon, the image of a beautiful woman emerged on the surface of the umbrella again, but this time, her posture was different, displaying a gesture of a curtsy before slowly fading away.

"It seems the pretty lady of your house is quite sensible and understanding," Lin Shen laughed.

Ouyang Yudu forced a smile and shook his head, "Let's just drink."

As the two continued to drink and chat, the Evolution Theory within Lin Shen's body kept circulating, gradually making him accustom to the daydream, growing more spirited with every drink.

However, Lin Shen noticed that Ouyang Yudu had drunk so much and seemed to be fine, as if nothing had happened.

Not until all six bottles were empty did Ouyang Yudu show any signs of drunkenness.

Lin Shen reached out for the wine, only to grab air, and said in frustration, "We're out of drink."

"We've had our fill of food and drink... This is... quite nice..." Ouyang Yudu said as he got up, ready to return to his room.

"Why are you talking like Wei now, it's still early, don't go," Lin Shen was anxious, "Wait for me, I'll go out and buy more drink." He was in a hurry not to miss this opportunity to get Ouyang Yudu drunk, not knowing when another chance would come.

Before he finished speaking, he saw Ouyang Yudu blown by the wind, who looked quite lively just a moment ago, suddenly topple toward the ground.

Lin Shen was both shocked and delighted, attempting to catch Ouyang Yudu, but before he could act, he saw the Jade Bone Demon Umbrella fly up by itself and hover over Ouyang Yudu's head.

"Who are you?" Lin Shen frowned and asked the Jade Bone Demon Umbrella.

"Didn't the young master already mention I am the lovely lady of the Ouyang family? How have you forgotten so quickly?" A ghostly voice emanated from the direction of the Jade Bone Demon Umbrella, yet no figure was to be seen.

"What should I call you?" Lin Shen asked again.

"Jade Bone Demoness." The ethereal voice answered, growing distant.

Lin Shen watched as Ouyang Yudu was escorted back to his room by the invisible force, feeling somewhat frustrated, "The grand plan I finally accomplished has been ruined by an umbrella."

"The Life Base of Ouyang has such spirituality, it's probably related to something inside his body. There shouldn't be any problems, right?" Lin Shen was a bit worried.

With things in this state, Lin Shen didn't have many options, and with the Jade Bone Demon Umbrella present, he couldn't exactly insist on sharing a bed with Ouyang Yudu.

"Fine, I'll find another opportunity later." Lin Shen looked at the table with dishes spread out, tempted to show off his hard-working virtue, but really didn't feel like doing it.

"Sigh, a lazy person like me, what hard-working virtue do I have," Lin Shen pretended not to see, and went back to his own room.

Lying in bed, Lin Shen felt slightly depressed, thinking about what excuse he could find next time to get the Fire Seed off of Ouyang Yudu, when he suddenly remembered something.

"How could I have forgotten about it?" Lin Shen smacked his forehead, quickly sat up, took out the bullet-like Spatial Device, and retrieved a Giant Sea Serpent Tooth from inside.

After getting the Giant Sea Serpent Tooth from Instructor Mu, I placed it inside the Spatial Device and, due to being busy with other matters, I eventually forgot all about it.

If it weren't for not managing to obtain Ouyang Yudou's Fire Seed today, which left me feeling a bit down, I might not have remembered it.

"Since I couldn't get Ouyang's Fire Seed, I might as well take this one, better than having none," Lin Shen hugged the Giant Sea Serpent Tooth and had a good sleep.

When he woke up the next morning, he finally got a clear look at what the Giant Sea Serpent Tooth looked like.

It appeared to be a white tooth with extremely smooth texture, faintly shimmering with a slight green glow.

Lin Shen wasn't in the mood to admire the Giant Sea Serpent Tooth; he quickly searched his mind for information about his Fire Seed and indeed found there was an additional one.

"What does this mean?" For a moment, Lin Shen was somewhat unable to understand what this Fire Seed meant.

He understood the concept of poison-to-poison; many novels and films have such plots.

A person gets poisoned with a deadly toxin that lacks an antidote, none of the world-renowned healers can help, but then by accident, they consume another uncurable poison which results in the two toxins counteracting each other, negating the poison.

Poison-to-poison does exist; certain toxins can indeed cure diseases and are even extremely precious medicines.

But to actually use poison against poison isn't as simple as consuming anything poisonous; if an ordinary person was to try it, nine times out of ten they would surely die, only making the situation worse.

If it was just about using poison to counteract other poisons, Lin Shen could understand it—It meant that if he was ever poisoned, he could use a different poison as a cure.

But the annotation that followed seemed unrelated to poisoning—the so-called "opposing actions to achieve an extreme turnabout" obviously referred to more than just being poisoned.

"It seems that this poison-to-poison measure isn't just about detoxifying; it's a metaphorical term, suggesting that if I encounter any problem, I can counter it with another problem, and perhaps that could lead to positive results," Lin Shen thought to himself. Yet, he was uncertain about the scope of this poison-to-poison strategy.

Lin Shen felt he could give it a try, but how to test it? At once, he couldn't think of any testing methods.

"I'll just try it out according to the literal meaning first then," Lin Shen found two bottles of Base Mutation Fluid containing toxins and drank one of them.

Although his body was nearly immune to all poisons, there'd still be a normal reaction when first consuming it.

After the toxin started to take effect, Lin Shen quickly drank the other bottle. As the two poisons entered his system simultaneously, all the abnormal reactions in his body disappeared, and Evolution Theory didn't even have time to activate.

"This ability is quite useful, its effect is much faster than Evolution Theory," Lin Shen thought to himself. "Since it can quickly detoxify, if I get injured, can I use another type of injury to heal that injury?"

Lin Shen wanted to give it a try but then remembered his body was hard to injure, and even if it did get hurt, Super Reconstitution would allow his body to heal rapidly. It seemed unnecessary to use such an outlandish method.

"What's this poison-to-poison good for?" Lin Shen always felt this Fire Seed ability had great potential, but he couldn't figure out how to use it.

While he was contemplating this, he suddenly heard his room's door being gently pushed open.

Lin Shen remembered he had locked his door the night before, and the only other person in the house was Ouyang Yudou; he wouldn't have come without knocking.

Still puzzled, he then saw a figure walk in.
