Chapter 707: Women Uprising?!
Spirit World…
The Spirit World was ablaze with activity as word of the divine gathering at the Milk Sea spread like wildfire. Once again Kent's name started roaming all around the spirit world.
From the bustling marketplaces of the Thunder Plains to the silent temples atop the Floating Peaks, the news reached every corner through shimmering jade slips.
The War God had personally issued the summons, and the weight of his command left no room for defiance. This wasn't just any gathering—it was a mandatory congregation of gods, beast spirits, and even mortal representatives. The directive explicitly required the presence of every individual who had witnessed the expulsion of the Goddess of Lust from the Spirit World centuries ago.
At first, the Spirit World interpreted the gathering as a momentous occasion to celebrate Kent's coronation as the new Demi-God. But as the details leaked, unease began to ripple through the realms.
The war god invitation specifically mentioned that "whoever was there when Goddess of Lust was expelled from the spirit world, all must present at this time also."
People don't understand what's the link between Kent's coronation as demi-god and Lust goddess issue. Including many demi-gods, people don't know the lust goddess was residing in the soul space of Kent.
The gathering's reference to the Goddess of Lust unnerved many, particularly the wives and female leaders of the gods, beast spirits, and other powerful factions.
-
Inside the ethereal halls of the Moonlit castle, a group of celestial women gathered in a circle, their faces painted with concern. These were the wives of prominent demi-gods, and their voices carried the weight of their lineage.
"What is the meaning of this?" one woman said, her voice trembling. "Why mention the Goddess of Lust in the same breath as Kent's coronation?"
"The lust lady has been banished for centuries," another replied, her tone clipped. "Does this mean she's returning? Have the gods lost their minds?"
Lady Sarvina, the wife of the Space God, raised her hand to quiet the murmurs. Her eyes, sharp as daggers, scanned the group. "We must not act in haste," she said. "But I admit, the implications are troubling. If the Lust Goddess is involved, this entire coronation becomes dangerous."
"What do you mean?" asked a younger woman, the wife of the Flame God. "Are you saying Kent is somehow connected to her?"
Sarvina hesitated before speaking. "There are rumors," she admitted. "Rumors that the Goddess of Lust has been residing in Kent's soul space. If that's true… it means her essence will return to the Spirit World."
The revelation sent a collective gasp through the room. One of the women slammed her hand against the table. "This cannot happen! If that vile goddess returns, it will ruin everything! Our husbands… our families… they'll lose control again."
"Yes, the lust goddess presence in the spirit world will shift its dynamics. Our husbands will crave for more pleasure and desires. We must stop this before our husbands chase other women." Sarvina said in a loud tone.
-
While the gods' wives fretted in private, another bombshell exploded across the Spirit World.
Someone—likely the space god—had leaked that Kent's coronation wasn't merely about becoming a Demi-God. But specifically about being named the Pleasure God. The title, which evoked scandal and temptation, sent shockwaves through every corner of the realms.
At the bustling markets of the Golden Plains, merchants abandoned their stalls to discuss the revelation.
"A Pleasure God? What madness is this?" one trader exclaimed, slamming his hands on the counter.
"It's like they're inviting chaos," another muttered. "Didn't the Spirit World suffer enough under the influence of the Lust Goddess?"
-
In the Holy Gardens, where the beast spirits gathered, the reactions were no less dramatic.
"I don't understand why this Kent is being glorified," grumbled a Goat spirit with a golden mane. "First the Goddess of Lust, and now this? Are the gods trying to destroy the balance of our world?"
Among the common folk, the outrage and fear crystallized into action. Women from all walks of life—mortals, demi-gods' consorts, and even beast spirits—began organizing. Their singular agenda: confront the gathering at the Milk Sea and demand answers.
-
In the serene Valley of Winds, a group of beast spirit women gathered under the leadership of Zira, a powerful fox spirit. She stood before the crowd, her nine tails swishing with agitation.
"Sisters," she began, her voice carrying authority. "This is not just about Kent's coronation. This is about protecting our Spirit World. The Goddess of Lust nearly destroyed us once. Do we really want to risk her influence again?"
The crowd murmured in agreement. A hawk spirit stepped forward. "But what can we do? The gods don't listen to us. They see us as lesser beings."
"We make them listen," Zira replied fiercely. "We march to the Milk Sea and confront them. If the gods are so foolish as to welcome the Pleasure God, then we'll remind them of the destruction caused by their arrogance."
Similar sentiments echoed in other parts of the Spirit World.
-
In the Crystal City, Lady Sarvina set-up a gathering of demi-gods' wives.
"We have tolerated much," Sarvina said, her voice calm but resolute. "But this… this is a line we cannot allow them to cross. If the Goddess of Lust returns, she will unravel everything we've worked for."
"What do you suggest we do?" asked Lady Fayra, the wife of the Wind God.
"We go to the Milk Sea," Sarvina said firmly. "We confront the War God, the Storm God, and every other fool who supports this madness."
-
Within hours, the Spirit World buzzed with the activity of women preparing for their journey to the Milk Sea. Groups of mortal women sewed banners that read, "No to the Lust Goddess" and "Protect the Spirit World."
The wives of gods donned their ceremonial armor, ready to stand their ground.
Across the Spirit World, these groups united, their anger and fear fueling their determination. As they prepared to travel to the Milk Sea, the gods began to take notice.
-
In the War God's citadel, an advisor approached with a nervous expression. "My lord, there is… unrest among the women of the Spirit World."
The War God raised an eyebrow. "Unrest?"
"They are organizing, my lord. Groups are forming in every corner, and they plan to confront us at the Milk Sea."
The War God stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Interesting. I expected resistance, but not on this scale. Seems like world-fate has not come under control."
"Should we stop them?" the advisor asked hesitantly.
The War God shook his head. "No. Let them come. If Kent is to ascend as the Pleasure God, he will have to face this challenge himself. Let the Spirit World see whether he is truly worthy. Also, once Kent accepts godhood, the fate-god will take-care of everything."
What do you think?
