SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 708: Chaotic Gathering of Gods!

Spirit World… Milk Sea…

Behind the name of Milk Sea there is a big story. The milk sea was actually filled with a blessed essence of gods which always shined in milk white colour.

At present the Milk Sea glowed under the ethereal glow of the Spirit World's twin moons, its pearly waves lapping gently against the silver shores.

For the first time in centuries, the sea, considered the bath house of the gods, saw a gathering of unparalleled magnitude. A grand pavilion of floating platforms and celestial bridges had been erected over the water.

The inclined sloppy steps spread in all directions and they were radiating divine energy so strong it was evident even to lower worlds.

The atmosphere is filled with power and expectation as countless beings arrived to witness what was rumored to be one of the most significant events in Spirit World history: Kent's potential coronation as the Pleasure God.

The different races of gods arrived in their grandeur, each representing their unique races and realms.

The Storm God's servants, clad in uniforms marked with swirling lightning symbols, were stationed in various positions, managing the enormous crowd. They hovered on floating chariots and stood at the entrance bridges, guiding the arriving delegations to their assigned places.

"Keep the old Titans in the northern section," barked one of the storm knights, pointing to a group of towering beings made of bulky muscles. Their frost-coated clothes cooled the air around them, and their movements were slow but purposeful.

"We don't want another clash with the Flamekin. Allocate different and higher seating for us." The leading old Titan demanded in a strong tone.

Behind, the Flamekin, a fiery race with molten skin and eyes that blazed like torches, marched in with an air of simmering pride. They carried ornate swords crowned with burning crystals, and their arrival caused murmurs among the crowd.

To the west, a procession of Beast Gods arrived. Majestic beings with forms part-animal, part-divine, they moved with grace and power. The Lion King of the Savannah walked alongside the Celestial Hawk, their feathers and manes shimmering in hues no mortal eyes could fully comprehend.

The winged angel race members floated silently, their translucent forms blending with the winds. They shimmered like mirages, and their voices, when they spoke, sounded like whispers carried on a breeze.

The earth race members moved heavily across a celestial bridge, their stone forms carved with intricate lines that glowed faintly with the life force of the planet. Behind them, a convoy of Ocean beings, gods of the seas, flowed across the waves in chariots made of coral and seashells.

At the center of it all, the War God hovered at his grand podium, his bronze skin and muscular frame exuding authority. Beside him were the Storm God and the Space God, who wore grim expressions as they oversaw the final preparations.

On the edges of the gathering, away from the gods' platforms, stood a large group of women who had come to oppose the coronation. Their banners bore bold slogans: "No to Lust, No to Chaos" and "Protect the Spirit World!"

The women, representing all races and classes, stood in tense silence, their eyes trained on the gods.

Lady Sarvina, the wife of the Space God, led them, her sharp gaze scanning the gathering. She turned to her companions. "Remember, we wait for the perfect moment. If we rush, we'll be silenced before our voices are heard."

A fox spirit, Zira, nodded. "But what if they don't give us a chance? What if they proceed without addressing our concerns?"

"Then we make them listen," Sarvina replied firmly. "This is our Spirit World too. We won't let it be destroyed by the return of the Goddess of Lust."

Inside the Eternal Music Hall

Far from the gathering, Kent sat in the serene yet heavy confines of the Eternal Music Hall. The room was dimly lit, the soft glow of floating lanterns casting shadows on the walls.

Across from him stood the Goddess of Lust, her ethereal beauty dropped like a sad flower. Her soul was in a sad state. For the first time since Kent had known her, she looked vulnerable.

"So, this is it," she said softly, her voice trembling slightly. "The moment I've waited for… for centuries."

Kent remained silent, his gaze fixed on the floor. He couldn't bring himself to look at her directly, knowing that this might be their last conversation as they were now.

"I should be happy," she continued, forcing a smile. "After all, I'll finally regain my godhood. I'll finally have my body back… free from this cursed imprisonment in your soul space."

"Finally you are getting what you dreamed for. Do you feel happy?" Kent asked, finally looking up. His voice was steady, but his eyes betrayed the storm of emotions within him.

She laughed bitterly. "No, I'm not. Because for all these years, I've been a part of you. I've seen your struggles, your victories, your pain… I've felt it all. And now, I'm afraid that once I leave, I'll lose that connection. I'll lose… you."

Kent clenched his fists. "You won't lose me," he said firmly. "But you deserve this... You deserve to be free, to be whole again."

Tears welled in her eyes but she controlled with full force. "And what about you? Will you accept their offer? Will you become the Pleasure God?"

Kent didn't answer immediately. Instead, he stood and walked to the window, looking out at the endless expanse of the Spirit World. "I don't know," he admitted. "I've seen underhand means of gods. I've seen the cost. And I don't want to lose myself to it."

She approached him, placing a hand gently on his shoulder. "Whatever you decide, Kent, know that you've already proven yourself. To me, to the Spirit World, to everyone. You're more than worthy of godhood."

Kent just smiled as he stared at the moisture filled eyes of the lust goddess. He understood that the lust goddess also shared the same feeling as him.

Back at the Milk Sea, the anticipation was reaching its peak. The War God turned towards Storm God. "Where is Kent?" he demanded, his tone impatient. "The time has come."

The Storm God's knights scrambled to send word to the Eternal Music Hall, unaware of the emotional conversation taking place within its walls.

Among the crowd, the women's opposition grew restless. "They're stalling intentionally," Lady Sarvina said. "Something's not right. We need to act soon."

"Be patient. In front there is a crocodile festival." A lady with pitch dark skin stopped the wife of Space God.
