Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 237 You'll Regret It.

Hugo pushed forward, dodging elbows, stepping over feet, and squeezing through the dense crowd of the dance floor.

It was like trying to escape a zombie apocalypse, except instead of zombies trying to eat him, it was drunk partygoers who either didn't notice him or noticed him a little too much.

And by that, he meant...

Someone just touched his belt. For the third time!

What in the fresh hell?!

Hugo's eyes widened in panic as he felt a hand casually brush against his crotch again, fingers lightly grazing his belt buckle.

WHO WAS TRYING TO UNDO HIM LIKE A GIFT BOX?!

He whipped his head around, trying to find the culprit, but the flashing lights and the sea of people made it impossible to tell.

Then, he felt another hand on his lower back. Hugo nearly jumped out of his skin.

'I'M BEING LOOTED ALIVE.'

How come no one had ever mentioned anything about this dreadful experience?

He increased his speed, twisting, ducking, side stepping like he was playing a real-life game of Temple Run.

But no matter how fast he moved, the hands KEPT COMING. All over him!

He felt one brush against his arm, another one slide against his shoulder, and—

BELT TOUCH ATTEMPT #4.

Oh, hell no.

Hugo spun around wildly, his eyes darting through the crowd like a paranoid fugitive.

Was it the girl in the red dress? The one with the sly smirk? Or the tall one wearing the strapless top?

WHO WAS THE BELT BANDIT?!

He didn't know. And he didn't have time to find out.

ESCAPE. ESCAPE NOW.

With one final burst of determination, Hugo lunged forward, slipped past a group of dancing couples, dodged a guy carrying drinks, and—

BOOM.

He was OUT.

Finally!

The moment Hugo stepped out of the apartment, fresh air hit his face like a blessing from the heavens.

His heart was still racing, but he managed to at least enjoy the night breeze slightly. His hands instinctively checked his belt—yep, still there.

Damn it, that was close. But at least his brother wasn't harmed.

Still, he had no time to dwell on the horrors of the dance floor.

He had a mission.

And that mission was to find Celine. And pray to every god that she was alone.

Hugo hurried towards the pool area, his heart pounding with anxiety.

What if she was with another guy? What if she was laughing, having fun, completely over him?

What if—no, shut up, brain.

He had to believe. He had to hope. He had to trust that she was still waiting for him to come back from the toilet despite spending 30 minutes there!

No matter how unbelievable that was.

When Hugo reached the pool area, he stopped dead in his tracks. And then—his heart nearly exploded.

Celine.@@novelbin@@

She was lounging by the pool, reclining on a chair, a bottle of wine in her hand. Drinking straight from the bottle. And somehow still looking like a goddess while doing it.

Hugo felt his breath catch.

She was sitting in a simple but elegant position, her legs casually crossed, her hair falling in perfect waves over her shoulder.

The glow from the pool lights illuminated her skin, making her look almost unreal.

And then—he noticed them.

Three guys.

Standing nearby.

All of them stealing glances at her, waiting, hoping, trying to figure out how to get her attention.

Hugo's eyes narrowed.

Not tonight, losers! Hugo was in control!

Before any of them could even think about making a move, Hugo strode forward, a confident smirk on his face.

"Sorry, I'm late."

Celine slowly turned her head, her deep eyes locking onto his. For a second, she just stared, slightly taken aback.

Then, she smirked.

"Oh, wow." She took another sip of wine. "You actually have the nerve to show up."

Hugo internally winced.

'Oh, shit. She's definitely mad.'

And her version of madness wasn't loud yelling or dramatic tantrums. It was this.

Cool, sharp, and dangerous.

Hugo's brain screamed at him to panic. 'I MESSED UP. I MESSED UP REAL BAD.'

But at this point—backing down was not an option.

He knew he had messed up, so the only thing left was to salvage the situation. So he did what he did best.

He doubled down.

Hugo leaned in slightly, his voice low and smooth. "How can I not show up when you're sitting here looking this breathtaking?"

Celine's eyes flickered.

Hugo saw it.

A tiny, barely noticeable blush. A sign of weakness! A chink in the armor!

But she recovered too fast. She took another sip of wine, tilting her head at him. "Flattery won't save you."

Then, she sighed dramatically and looked away. "Just leave me alone. I want to be by myself."

Hugo exhaled slowly.

Damn. She wasn't just mad. She was hurt.

She had probably been waiting for him on the dance floor, and instead of finding him—she had been alone.

That wasn't something a girl like Celine could easily forgive. But Hugo wasn't about to walk away.

Not now.

Walking away simply meant that was the end with Celine. He didn't want that at all.

So he did the most dangerous, reckless thing he could do.

He sat down right next to her. Without hesitation, without asking permission.

And then he reached out, grabbed her wine bottle, and took a slow sip.

Never breaking eye contact. Celine's eyes widened slightly. Hugo could feel it.

The shift. The tiny flicker of uncertainty. And then the faintest blush on her cheeks.

Got her.

Feeling bold, Hugo leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a smooth, intimate tone.

"So tell me, Celine… how can I make it up to you?"

For the first time, Celine's lips curled into a genuine smile.

Her eyes twinkled with something dangerous.

"Oh, Hugo…" She tilted her head, looking at him with playful mischief.

"You're going to regret asking that."
