The Last Will of the dragon Emperor 1.3
The figure gestured to a small, ornate box on the desk, adorned with intricate carvings of dragons and phoenixes. "This box contains the first trial, the Key of the Ancients. Within it lies a map that will lead you to the Heart of the Dragon, but to unlock it, you must first prove yourself worthy."
Ling's eyes locked onto the box, his heart pounding with excitement. He could feel the whispers of eternity growing louder, urging him onward.
Without hesitation, Ling reached out and took the box, its wooden surface smooth beneath his fingers. As he lifted the lid, a faint hum of energy erupted from within, and a small, rolled-up parchment emerged.
The map depicted a winding path through treacherous mountains and dark forests, culminating in a mysterious, ancient ruin. Ling's eyes devoured every detail, his mind racing with the challenges ahead.
Suddenly, the chamber was filled with a blinding flash of light, and Ling felt himself being pulled toward the map, as though the very fabric of reality was drawing him into its secrets.
When the light faded, Ling found himself standing at the edge of a treacherous mountain path, the map still clutched in his hand. The air was thin and cold, and the silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the distant howling of wolves.
Ling took a deep breath, steeling himself for the journey ahead. He knew that he had to be brave, to push himself to the limits of human endurance.
With a fierce determination burning within him, Ling set off into the unknown, the whispers of eternity guiding him toward his destiny...
