The Last Will of the Dragon Emperor 1.4
As Ling climbed higher into the mountains, the air grew thinner and the silence more oppressive. He could feel the weight of the Dragon Emperor's last will bearing down upon him, driving him toward his goal.
The path was treacherous, winding through jagged rocks and hidden crevices. Ling's senses were on high alert, his eyes scanning the terrain for any sign of danger.
Suddenly, a faint rustling sounded from the underbrush. Ling's heart skipped a beat as a pair of glowing eyes emerged from the shadows, their unblinking gaze fixed upon him.
A low growl emanated from the darkness, and Ling's instincts screamed at him to run. But he stood frozen, his eyes locked onto the eyes of the unknown creature.
With a swift motion, the creature emerged from the underbrush, its form unfolding like a dark, deadly flower. Ling's breath caught in his throat as he beheld the creature's twisted, nightmarish visage.
The creature was a Guardian of the Mountains, a ancient, forgotten beast tasked with protecting the secrets of the ancient ruin. Its eyes burned with an otherworldly intensity, its presence radiating an aura of malevolent power.
Ling knew that he had to confront the Guardian, to prove his worthiness to claim the Heart of the Dragon. With a deep breath, he steeled himself for the battle ahead...
