"Think carefully! Do you still not remember?!"
Ezra shook Aurora by the collar. Aurora, being shaken as he did, furrowed her brows deeply.
She wasn’t her usual self, responding calmly with clear eyes to whatever was said.
"That bastard... doing this to someone else's sister...!"

This was definitely a "kick the blanket" moment. I’d probably think about this every night from now on.
"Miss."
Harrison called to me with a stern look. I slowly took a step back and pointed at Ezra.
"Shouldn’t we go check on them? Ezra’s the one I brought here, and I feel a sense of responsibility."
I gave a flimsy excuse and subtly stepped back. Harrison stared at me for a moment before sighing.
"We’ll talk about it later. I’m not interrogating you, Miss."
Harrison’s words made me breathe a sigh of relief, feeling reassured.
Anyway, I turned and followed Ethan toward Ezra and Aurora.
There weren’t many people in the lobby, but everyone was staring at them because of the commotion.
