The Path to Becoming The Worst Villainess

Ahko sprinted to the Ghost Forest and annihilated every single living being inside the forest within a fraction of an hour. The population on the outskirts is still devastated after what Ahko did yesterday, but then she comes back and destroys any last thing that resides there. When she couldn't find any snakes left, she went deeper inside the forest and continued her rampage until she was sure there was nothing left inside the forest except ash and monster cores.

The snakes were horrified to see the human that killed almost the entire population of the outskirts of the forest and killed every single Titanoboas come back and started to kill more of their brothers within the speed they couldn't comprehend, but this time she's finishing her massacre. When they see her, it's an immediate game over for them. The snakes tried to run away or even hide, but they weren't fast enough to escape from Ahko. Furthermore, those who went hiding are also not completely safe since Ahko has her infrared sight.

It wasn't even noon yet when she finished the missing Yotain Villagers and went to the Ghost Forest. By midday, she has killed a total of 5682 snakes. What's left of their tiny population are snakes that are hiding inside the deep cave in order not to be killed by Ahko. Ahko could've continued her rampage but decided to go against it for the snake population to grow little by little. Ahko completed the system evolution requirements but not for the demonic evolution. And so she's out of the ghost forest and goes to the city. No one even noticed that she was already inside the guild and searching for any mission.

Adventurers are shocked to see Ahko just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, they even more shocked when Ahko took a mission then vanished again like nothing has ever happened. Only the mission had gone missing and appeared onto Lydia's desk. Lydia didn't even notice that Ahko had appeared inside the guild, and when a mission paper appeared out of nowhere and onto Lydia's desk, she checked the mission and realized who had accepted this mission.

"The Extermination of The Killer Hornet Dungeon"

[Gaia Forest]

Located Northwest of Priya City, Gaia Forest was one of the liveliest forests in the Leafwing Kingdom before the killer hornet dungeon appeared inside of the Gaia Forest. It is rumored that the God of Nature, Gaia, has resided here for some time and talked to the people near the forest, which is why the name is Gaia Forest. People have built a temple of her in the hope of getting her blessing. At first, she was thrilled for the people and blessed as many as 7 people per month, but over the centuries, she found the humans becoming more selfish and greedy, so she stopped her blessing altogether. Though the humans never stop worshipping her, that's what makes the forest popular after all, they wanted her blessing.

16 Weeks ago, the killer hornet dungeon appeared and massacred almost everyone inside the forest. Their venom is strong enough to even kill B rank adventurers within one sting. Since there are rarely any B ranks or even A ranks in Priya City or any city around the forest, the Hornets have grown in numbers. Some witnesses saw the Hornets starting to go outside of the forest.

Well, for Ahko, she didn't care about all that. Hell, if it wasn't for the 2 slaves, she would just ignore the mission altogether. But since she needed the monster kills, she has no choice. Arriving outside of the forest, she can see numerous Hornets the size of a small child patrolling the outskirts of the forest. Not only that, but she could feel some presence coming towards her direction at such speed. Probably because of the hornet's many eyes, they can see Ahko even if they are away from her.

The Hornets come out of the forest in search of Ahko, but she just vanished from thin air. With their superior eyes, they could see that Ahko had sprinted into the bush near her. When they tried to go there, their bodies fell off from their wings. From the Hornets inside the forest, they saw the Hornets just getting cut in half in seconds. They can see where Ahko would go, but their bodies are too slow for her. Some Hornets rushed into the nest and called for some reinforcement.

The superior Hornets quickly caught on with the situation and went to Ahko's direction where they too, dies. Since there's no way of winning this head on, the Hornets retreat to the inner of the forest and wait for Ahko to arrived. It's easier to sting an intruder in close-up space rather than open space outside of the forest.

A couple of hours went by, but there was no sign of an intruder coming. They thought that maybe the Hornets that were still not go to the inner of the forest kills the intruder, but if that's the case then why they didn't come yet and tell them that the intruder has gone. Then, they can feel it. Smoke is seeping into their skin as they look to see that a wildfire has circled them, and they can't go anywhere. The best they could do is to hide inside the nest and hope that the fire didn't burn the nest.

Before the fire happened, Ahko noticed the Hornets were retreating into the deep forest. She guessed the logical thing why they did that is to wait for Ahko to come, since maneuvering inside a forest is much harder than an open field, she can easily be sting by the Hornets even if she has the speed to dodge them, eventually she can't and will get sting. Ahko cast a fireball into one of the trees, and from that, she caused a wildfire. Many trees burned to the ground, and what's left are nothing but ash and some bit of their stumps.

Ahko sought through the fires and killed the Hornets that weren't inside the inner forest. She knew that if the Hornets saw the fire, they would alert the Hornets inside the inner forest. Though that didn't matter since they couldn't go anywhere regardless of if she killed them or not. By the time the fire went out, what was left was a portal in the middle of a wasteland and the crumbled temple beside it. Unfortunately for her, the wildfire has brought out many crowds from many different cities. Some are cheering for her since she's about to destroy the dungeon that has been terrorizing the forest, but some are also booing at her since she destroyed all of the forest they were worshipping.

After the fire burns out, she goes into the dungeon and finds herself seeing many giant hornets waiting for her to come inside. Without any hesitation, they sting her many times until her body is covered with stings. When the hornets saw the fire, they immediately went into the portal and waited until the fire died down or until the culprit of the fire came into the dungeon, thinking she'd won. Instead, they will catch her off guard and kill her, then come back into the wild and continue their growing species.

Ahko's body disintegrated and turned into dark mist that attached itself to the many hornets inside the dungeon. One by one, the hornets began to get pierced by dark spikes. The dark mist continued its way deeper into the dungeon and attached itself to many hornets. Then, dark spikes emerged and pierced through their hearts and brains.

The real Ahko walks into the dungeon, it's exactly what she had in mind about the layout of the dungeon. Its wall is made out of papery walls, and she finds herself in a series of combs flat, circular tiers stacked like the floors of a strange aerial tower. Each level was made as tight as possible so that only hornets can traverse, though their bodies are already as big as a human, so it's a little strange that it looks like they are trying to make it as tightly as possible. It seems like it's more of a burden for them since they have to crawl onto the outside of the portal.

The chaos inside the nest catches the queen's attention. She began to go to the source of the problem and exterminate it right there and then. But before she leaves, she lays the last egg filled with the necessary seed to grow a new queen in case she dies. Unbeknownst to her, the dark mist had already traversed into every corner of the nest. She breathed the air through her skin and, along with it, the dark mist. The dark mist circulates through her blood and goes to every part of her body. Then sharp spikes emerge and pierce her until she's left with nothing but a pile of mush.

"What an easy dungeon. It's even easier than the goblin dungeon."

Ahko stepped onto the queen's dead body and grabbed the dungeon core. She was about to leave but then stopped when she felt a rather powerful being coming inside one of the larvae rooms. She goes into the room, which is filled with many larvae waiting for the hornets to feed them food, not knowing they are already dead. What caught up in her eyes is a small egg she almost stepped on.

A strange warmth grew in her chest. It was soft at first, like a bit of heat under her skin. She paused, one hand pressed against the cave wall, the other clenched on her heart. Her breathing was getting ragged. The pain is starting to get painful by the second. The air around her felt heavier, thicker, almost like it was pressing down on him, but she held herself nothing like this would ever take her down. The pain spread through her body, curling into his arms, his legs, even the tips of her fingers.

Far above, outside the cave, the sky had changed. Thick clouds had gathered fast, too fast. Thunder cracked in the distance. The Yotain villagers think it's about to rain, and it doesn't look like it's going to be a light or normal rain. But confused about how a sunny sky turned dark and filled with clouds.

BOOM

The bolt hit the cave, and the sound echoed into the cave, almost shattering Ahko's ear. Then, the pain subsides. She took a deep sigh and fell to the ground, trying to catch her breath as she looked at her body. The appearance stays the same, but there's something changed.

"A-Alright... Now it's time to evolve you..."
