Chen Ke couldn’t reload his magazine, so he had to stuff his gun back into its holster; he could only rely on his right hand wielding the Fire-igniting Broadsword to slash at the approaching pack of wolves.

As he swung the broadsword, he retreated, hoping to make his way back to the platform above to devise a new plan, but the wolves gave him no chance.

Some wolves even slipped and fell off the cliff, but more surged out from their dens along the cliff edges.

Chen Ke guessed that around the corner of the cliff there must be a large cave connected by various passages; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been possible for the wolves to establish a den here.

The alpha wolf, seeing too many of its young killed by Chen Ke, finally erupted in anger and lunged at him personally.

Before Chen Ke could curse, the monstrous wolf pounced on him, but at the same time, the Fire-igniting Broadsword pierced through its body. After identification, the vague object in Chen Ke’s hands emitted a dazzling blue brilliance, materializing into a silver, ornately carved candle holder fitted with three white candles!

Chen Ke scrutinized the candle holder in his hand. Its trident handle felt slightly cold to the touch, and the overly elaborate carvings on the handle seemed somewhat fanciful without substance.

On the silver frame, the three white candles were carved with spiral patterns. Chen Ke tried to separate the candles from the candle holder but found that no matter how much force he used, he couldn’t pull them out or break them.

Chen Ke was not sure how many types each class had, but from the entry “Mysterious Attribute enhancement: Arcane power increased by 20%, Illusion range expanded by 20%, Magic duration extended by 20%”, it appeared that if each class had three sub-attributes, wouldn’t it precisely match the six times three equating to eighteen?

The three attributes under Mysterious Attribute: Arcane, Illusion, and Magic. He had already seen how powerful illusions could be through encounters with monsters; they were not merely eye-blocking skills but could physically materialize.

Secondly, the candlestick’s special effects enhanced the three major Mysterious Attributes, though each in a different way. Arcane increased in power, Illusion in range, and Magic in duration—did this indirectly suggest that the focal points of these attributes were fixed?

For example, were all Arcane used for offensive casting, all Illusion for illusion and control, and all Magic solely for adding buffs? Thirdly, the Class of the Holy Relics. This was the first time Chen Ke possessed a Holy Relic that emitted a blue glow. In the Black Box Space, operators from the Administration Bureau also used white and blue Holy Relics in conjunction.
