Chapter 525 497 Training the Brother-in-law
Lin Tian threw the mop handle beside Shi Tian and said, "Show me what you just learned!"
Seeing He Dong's single move earlier, Lin Tian noticed that if one fights without ruthlessness, and is timid and scared, such a person will hardly achieve greatness. However, the saving grace was that He Dong was still young and could change.
Lin Tian did this to train him, so he could stand on his own in the future.
He Dong stared at the broken mop handle on the ground, still smeared with Shi Tian's blood, and he felt fear.
"You just said you want to protect your parents, protect your sister Qianqian. Do you think you can protect them just with words?" asked Lin Tian.
He Dong's mind was troubled, but in the end, he picked up the blood-stained mop handle.
"Hit him," ordered Lin Tian, pointing at Shi Tian.
He Dong did as Lin Tian had instructed but only used half his strength, hitting Shi Tian on the buttocks.
He Dong was really a straightforward person; Shi Tian was already down on the ground unable to rise, the villain was right in front of him, and he still didn't dare to hit hard, afraid of causing problems and bringing trouble to himself.
Lin Tian shouted, "Think about your sister, think about how Shi Tian bullied her, think about your parents, and then think about yourself. Think about how much harm Shi Tian has caused your family over the years. The wounds on your body, the wounds on your father's body, they were all caused by Shi Tian. Don't you hate him?"
"Hate."
He Dong spat out the word and, swinging the mop handle in his hand, struck Shi Tian hard.
"That's for bullying my sister, for bullying me, for bullying my parents."
He struck Shi Tian with five solid blows, all landing genuinely on Shi Tian's body, causing him to wail like a pig being slaughtered.
"He Dong, you damned brat, you dare hit me? Believe it or not, I will have someone wipe out your entire family," Shi Tian threatened fiercely, seizing a moment.
Lin Tian did not speak; he wanted to see what He Dong would do.
Hearing Shi Tian's words, He Dong's grip loosened slightly, as if he was taken aback by Shi Tian's threat.
Shi Tian yelled again, "He Dong, it's good that you know your place. Apologize to me right now, hand over your sister obediently, and maybe I'll let you go."
"Go to hell," He Dong roared, and with a swing, the stick hit Shi Tian's shoulder. Shi Tian clutched his shoulder, wailing weakly, no longer having the same commanding presence.
"We have tolerated you for years, and you've never spared us. Today, I've hit you; do you really think you can let me go? I'll beat you to death, you beast."
Bang bang bang...!
After a series of more than ten blows, Shi Tian was covered in blood, almost crying out for mercy.
"This kid is a moldable talent," Lin Tian thought to himself.
"Enough, if he gets beaten any more, it will kill him," Lin Tian interjected. It was okay to break an enemy's hands or feet, but killing them was another matter entirely.
Obediently, He Dong dropped the mop handle and gave Shi Tian a vicious kick, shouting, "Get lost! If you bother my sister again, I will beat you every single time."
Shi Tian, in too much pain to speak, struggled to stand, glaring fiercely at Lin Tian and He Dong, and shouted, "You wait, this isn't over."
After saying that, he tried to leave.
"Hold on," Lin Tian spoke up.
Quick as lightning, He Dong kicked out, sending Shi Tian crashing to the ground.
Shi Tian wanted to rage, but seeing Lin Tian step toward him, he held back his anger, not daring to speak.
Lin Tian walked up to Shi Tian and said to He Dong, "He Dong, as a brother-in-law, I'll teach you a second lesson: Return unto others what they have done unto you. Treat your enemies the way they treat you."
Upon hearing this, Shi Tian instinctively covered his mouth, because he had just threatened to beat Lin Tian until he couldn't find his teeth and would be begging for mercy on his knees.
"Brother-in-law, I understand," He Dong chuckled with a dark grin, his fist pounding down mercilessly.
"Don't!"
Shi Tian wanted to beg for mercy, but the fist had already struck.
He Dong was broad-shouldered and worked at the quarry; he had enormous strength. One punch knocked out a third of Shi Tian's teeth.
Bang, bang.
He Dong threw two more punches, leaving Shi Tian without a single tooth, all knocked out.
Now Shi Tian was in a sorry state, his mouth full of blood, teeth scattered on the ground, spitting blood with every breath.
He Qianqian and her mother couldn't bear to watch any longer; they quickly covered their eyes, fearing they might vomit.
Lin Tian grabbed him by the hair and commanded, "Call me Grandpa."
Shi Tian looked at Lin Tian with hatred, staying silent.
Slap!
Lin Tian slapped him across the face, and still, Shi Tian said nothing.
Slap, slap, slap!
Lin Tian delivered three consecutive slaps to Shi Tian's face, almost knocking him senseless.
"Call me Grandpa," Lin Tian demanded again, his other hand ready to strike once more.
"Grandpa... Grandpa!" Finally, Shi Tian spoke up.
"Good, very good," Lin Tian said with a smug smile, lowering his hand.
"Call her Grandma," Lin Tian ordered, pointing at He Qianqian.
"Grandma," Shi Tian obediently replied.
However, when Shi Tian called He Qianqian "Grandma," she couldn't take it anymore and muttered, "I don't have a grandson like that."
Then, Lin Tian pointed at He Qianqian's parents and said, "Call them great-grandpa and great-grandma."
"Great-grandpa, great-grandma, hello," Shi Tian said.
"Get lost," Lin Tian said with a chuckle.
Shi Tian fled back home in a sorry state, glancing back resentfully at the door. Lin Tian knew this wasn't over.
"Brother-in-law, you're so awesome; I admire you. You can snap a dagger with two fingers; your hand strength is incredible," said He Dong, running to Lin Tian's side with a big smile.
Lin Tian patted his shoulder and said, "Let's go. Let's go back and eat. With your brother-in-law here, no one can bully you."
Everyone was delighted, especially He Dong, who admired Lin Tian to the extreme, calling out to him again and again. Lin Tian found it very gratifying to hear.
He Wenqing was the happiest. At the dining table, he downed several glasses of white liquor, growing more content with his son-in-law Lin Tian by the minute.
Just after finishing their meal, six villagers from He Wenqing's village rushed over in a frenzy, shouting.
"Old He, Old He, it's bad, really bad. Shi Tian has brought people to cause trouble for you."
After drinking, He Wenqing had intended to rest, but their shouting wiped away any thought of sleep.
He Wenqing hurried out and asked the villagers, "What happened? Didn't we chase Shi Tian away? Why has he come back?"
This villager, named Hu San, was a neighbor of the He Family and the families were on good terms. He said, "Old He, you've stirred up trouble this time. How could you dare to hit Shi Tian? He's covered in blood and rallying more than thirty thugs, vowing to set your house on fire, capture you all, and beat you to death. Believe me and run fast. Forget about money and the house, your lives matter more."
After hearing this, He Wenqing felt confused, and his blood pressure shot up instantly.
What do you think?
