Chapter 526 498: Kidnapped Him
He Wenqing was somewhat confused after hearing this, and his blood pressure shot up instantly.
He had originally thought that after Lin Tian had severely taught Shi Tian a lesson, Shi would be scared and wouldn't harass their family again.
But the result was quite the opposite. Shi Tian was so seriously injured that he didn't even go to the hospital; instead, he directly led people back to them in a charge. That must have driven Shi Tian furious.
He Wenqing slapped his thigh and yelled, "Wife, let's run. Forget about this house. We should find another place to settle down."
Xu Liping hurried out of the house and asked, "Old man, what did you say? What's going on? We're fine here, why should we move?"
"Into this house, go."
Outside the door, a series of urgent voices sounded.
Over thirty hoodlums rushed in, followed by Shi Tian, who was so heavily injured that he was supported by others as he entered.
Shi Tian bellowed, "He Wenqing, I heard you're thinking of running away."
He scanned Hu San with his eyes and interrogated, "Was it you, you old bastard, who snitched?"
Hu San was startled and quickly explained, "No, not me, it's a misunderstanding. I just came to borrow a hoe; I didn't come to snitch."
"Think I'm a three-year-old kid? Someone, beat him."
As soon as Shi Tian finished speaking, two hoodlums rushed out from behind. They kicked Hu San, sending him flying, and then brutally kicked him several more times. Hu San rolled on the ground in pain, a pitiful sight.
At this moment, He Dong and He Qianqian also rushed out, with Lin Tian watching from behind. He wanted to see if his brother-in-law would cower facing this situation.
He Dong picked up a brick at random and roared, "Shi Tian, you still dare to come? Aren't you afraid I'll beat you to death?"
Shi Tian said, "He Dong, you're nothing. Bring out that pretty-boy brother-in-law of yours. I'm here this time to break his fingers. He screams once, I break one."
Although He Dong knew Lin Tian was formidable, facing over thirty men, all armed, he didn't believe Lin Tian could take them all on by himself.
He lied, "My brother-in-law has left. If you want to find him, go look for him in Yunhai City!"
Lin Tian, listening from behind, chuckled. While He Dong meant well, the lie he told was too naive. If Shi Tian believed it, he would truly be an idiot.
Shi Tian couldn't be bothered with idle chatter. He shouted to his men, "Barge in! For He Dong, kill him. If you see that pretty-boy, kill him too. And the one named He Qianqian, we'll take her with us so the brothers can have a feast."
"Go!"
Over thirty hoodlums split into two groups, with half charging towards He Dong and the other half towards the house.
He Dong quickly retreated as one of the hoodlums wielding a baseball bat swung it at him.
Driven by desperation, he smashed the brick in his hand down with force.
The brick struck true, hitting the hoodlum in the chest and caving it in. Uncertain how many ribs were shattered, the thug fell to the ground in a heap, writhing and unable to rise as he clutched his chest.
"Damn it, I'm all in."
He Dong yelled, seizing the baseball bat and charging at the thirty-plus men.
"Well done!"
Lin Tian praised silently from inside the house. With He Dong's skills, taking on over thirty men was like seeking death, but the fact that he still dared to charge forward showed the kid had grit and spirit. It's just that his spirit hadn't been fully ignited yet. With training, he could definitely achieve great things.
Three hoodlums pounced on He Dong, but with a swing of the bat, he shattered one's leg completely.
The other two hoodlums, armed with their sticks, brutally swung at He Dong.
Managing to knock down one was already a stroke of luck for He Dong, but he couldn't dodge the attack from the other two.
He hastily used the baseball bat to block; both of their blows landed on his bat, causing his arms to go numb and his palms to ache so much he couldn't hold onto the bat, which fell to the ground.
The two hoodlums were intent on killing He Dong. They mercilessly aimed their sticks at him. If He Dong got hit, he would undoubtedly die.
"Brother!"
He Qianqian yelled out, her heart leaping to her throat.
As he saw the two sticks swinging towards his head, cold sweat broke out all over He Dong's body. He could feel the force of the wind they brought; it was the breath of death.
The sticks arrived in an instant, swiftly reaching the top of He Dong's head. With no escape, he closed his eyes, expecting death.
"Swoosh, swoosh!"
Two ear-piercing sounds of something slicing through the air reached He Dong's ears. Right above him, two thuds sounded. He looked up to see his attackers' sticks gone, with both hooligans clutching their hands. Their sticks lay on the ground, along with two chopsticks nearby.
He Dong turned to look and saw Lin Tian holding a pair of chopsticks, watching him with a smile from behind.
He Dong understood now, Lin Tian had just saved him, using two chopsticks to knock away the two thick and long sticks from the hooligans' hands.
He took in a sharp breath, utterly astounded. To be able to knock down sticks so thick and long with chopsticks, Lin Tian's strength was terrifyingly formidable!
With Lin Tian's assistance, He Dong's fighting spirit soared, he picked up the baseball bat that had dropped to the ground, and immediately knocked down the two hooligans before him. Standing atop their bodies, he viciously continued the onslaught.
An interesting scene followed, with He Dong taking on more than thirty people alone, who were all forced to retreat in unison. Anytime someone posed a threat to He Dong, a chopstick would shoot out, to the point where they now dared not get close to He Dong for fear of being stabbed by the chopsticks, which was an unpleasant experience.
Lying on the ground were half a dozen hooligans. Shi Tian stood with twenty more of them, at a deadlock with He Dong. He Dong had grown tired and was taking a breather, but Shi Tian and his gang truly dared not advance.
Then Lin Tian casually walked out, addressing the hooligans, "Tie up Shi Tian and bring him to me, and I might consider sparing you some agony."
Shi Tian felt some fear but bolstered by his numbers, he shouted, "What a joke! My brothers have been with me for more than a day or two. The thought that they would tie me up is laughable."
"You want to fight? Bring it on. We won't tie up Brother Shi. If you've got the guts, come at us. I'm not afraid of you," a blond behind him yelled. He had once lost money at the casino and nearly had his hand chopped off until Shi Tian stepped in and saved him, so his loyalty to Shi Tian was beyond question.
"Xiao Sanzi, well done. Brother Shi has not taken care of you all these years for nothing," Shi Tian said with satisfaction.
Lin Tian smiled and pointed to the blond, "He Dong, break one of his arms."
He Dong charged out, and the blond along with two other hooligans rushed forward to meet him.
The two hooligans beside the blond were shot in the legs by Lin Tian's chopsticks and immediately knelt on the ground.
The blond, taken by surprise, was unprepared when He Dong's baseball bat struck his left arm. With a crisp snap, his left arm broke.
He Dong dragged the blond over to Lin Tian and threatened, "Go tie up Shi Tian for me, or I'll break your leg next."
The blond didn't answer right away but was deep in thought.
From the side, Shi Tian confidently said, "Xiao Sanzi is my best brother. We've drunk blood wine together, shared women, and swore to never betray each other. Xiao Sanzi, hang in there, after you get through this, Brother Shi will repay you a hundredfold."
"Humph, to get that compensation, you'll need to be alive to claim it. He Dong, do it," Lin Tian said with a laugh.
He Dong swung up the baseball bat, ready to strike.
"Hold on," the blond shouted at the critical moment.
Lin Tian let out a cold laugh, and Shi Tian's mouth twitched.
"Xiao Sanzi, you, you...!" Shi Tian said in disbelief.
Clutching his arm, the blond stood up with difficulty and spoke apologetically, "Brother Shi, don't blame me. If my limbs are broken, I'll be a cripple for life. When I was able to fight, you favored me and treated me like a brother. But if I'm crippled, will we still be brothers?"
This was a very realistic concern; knowing Shi Tian's character, if the blond truly ended up disabled, Shi Tian would surely send him away.
While Shi Tian had planned this in his heart, he spoke righteously, "Xiao Sanzi, you're my brother now and you will be in the future, no matter what you become, Brother Shi will always have your back."
The blond sneered, "Brother Shi, we've known each other for so many years, do I not understand what kind of person you are? Let's drop the pretense. And don't blame your brother, I need to find my own way out too."
The blond loudly declared, "Brothers, we're not tying up Shi Tian today; nobody gets out of this. I started this mess, it has nothing to do with you guys. Let's all help me tie up Brother Shi, and if he blames anyone later, let him blame me!"
The blond, enduring the intense pain, pulled out his belt and set out to tie up Shi Tian.
Shi Tian yelled, "Brothers, Xiao Sanzi has betrayed us; kick him to death."
Initially, the blond had felt a twinge of guilt, but when Shi Tian demanded his death, any last vestiges of guilt within the blond evaporated.
Two hooligans charged out immediately, wielding their clubs to hit the blond.
Before the blond could even dodge, two chopsticks shot out, dropping both assailants to their knees.
The rest were chilled to the bone, viewing Lin Tian as if he were the Demon King. Huddling together, they decided that for their own safety, they would tie up Shi Tian.
One by one, they drew their belts and, like hungry wolves, pounced on Shi Tian.
"You, you...! I treated you guys well...!" Shi Tian wailed, these were his proud brothers, the very same who enabled his bullying and domineering ways. He had naively believed that they would be loyal to him for life, unswervingly so, but now, with just a few words from Lin Tian, they were personally tying him up.
Soon, belts crisscrossed over Shi Tian's body, binding him as tight as a rice dumpling.
"Is this good enough?" the blond asked Lin Tian.
Lin Tian nodded, and the blond led the group away.
"Xiao Sanzi," Lin Tian called out.
The blond was startled, looking back with a sense of resignation, his legs trembling in fear.
"After you go back, leave Shi Tian immediately, don't even get half a step close to him ever again. And don't be a minion to anyone else, or you'll eventually meet a bad end. This is my advice to you."
What do you think?
