Chapter 1111: Not Even Dogs Are So Obedient, Right?

Gu Yang used a cold towel to put on Shadow’s forehead to cool him down.
However, the effect was minimal. Shadow had already fallen asleep.
With such a high fever, he had to get an injection.
Gu Yang went to look for Director Li.
Director Li saw her impatience and said, “Why is it you again, you brat?”
Gu Yang said, “Director, someone has a high fever and wants to go to the clinic for an injection.”
“If you have a fever, so be it. I can’t handle so many fevers? You’ll be fine after sleeping for a few days.” Director Li didn’t care and immediately wanted to close the door.
Gu Yang clenched her fists and decided to use some special methods, hypnosis.
She used to be a top-notch psychologist, and her hypnosis skills were perfect.
She stared at Director Li. “Director Li.”
Director Li paused, leaving the door ajar, and looked at Gu Yang. His expression was neutral, but he stood there silently, as if waiting for her instructions.
Gu Yang was momentarily taken aback.
Had she just hypnotized him? She hadn’t even begun!@@novelbin@@
Gathering her thoughts, she attempted to order, “Go and get the money.”
Without hesitation, Director Li returned to the room, retrieved his wallet, and opened it to show her the cash and bank cards inside. “They’re all here.”
Gu Yang stared at Director Li, who had been so arrogant just moments ago, now obediently offering her all his money. Her expression shifted to one of disbelief.
Seriously? Even dogs aren’t this compliant!
When did her hypnosis become so effective?
She seemed to have skipped the entire hypnotic process. From the outside, it was nearly impossible to tell that Director Li had been hypnotized.
Was this really her psychological hypnosis? It felt more like a superpower!
Gu Yang blinked and snapped her fingers in front of Director Li.
Immediately, he closed his wallet and frowned at her. “Why are you still here? Get lost! There’s no way I’m spending money to treat you!”
Recalling the sensation from when she had hypnotized him, Gu Yang decided to try the same technique again. She extended her small hand. “Director Li, give me your wallet.”
Director Li complied, handing over his wallet with both hands.
Gu Yang took the wallet and walked toward the dormitory with her hands behind her back. “Follow me.”
Director Li trailed closely behind Gu Yang like a loyal dog.
Inside the dormitory, upon seeing Director Li behind Gu Yang, Feng Jue sat up in bed, concern etched on his face. “Sister.”
The two younger children, with snot running down their noses, stopped sniffling in fear and stared at Director Li, their eyes wide with apprehension.
Gu Yang smiled at Director Li, then pointed to Shadow, who lay feverish on the bed. “Director Li, that’s the kid with a high fever. Carry him on your back. We need to take him to the clinic for treatment.”
Without a word, Director Li complied and hoisted Shadow onto his back.
Feng Jue and the other two children were left speechless.
Quietly, Feng Jue approached Gu Yang and tugged at her sleeve. He pointed at Director Li, his brow furrowed in confusion. “Sister, why is he… acting like this today?”
The corners of Gu Yang’s mouth twitched slightly at his words. This clearly indicated that Director Li typically did not do anything helpful.
Feng Jue stared at Director Li with an increasingly puzzled expression.
Leaning close to Feng Jue’s ear, Gu Yang whispered mysteriously, “Actually, I’m a little fairy. This is my immortal art!”
Feng Jue’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Sister, you’re really amazing!”
Gu Yang couldn’t help but pinch his cheeks. “So you have to be obedient, or I might just fly away.”
Feng Jue nodded eagerly, his trust unwavering.
With that, Gu Yang stopped teasing him and followed Director Li to take Shadow to a nearby clinic for an injection.
What do you think?
