Chapter 214 - 210: The Collector

[3rd POV]

A couple of days had passed since Talia had gotten her new class, and during that time, she had done nothing but cultivate, shooting from 3rd level Elementary Profound to 6th level elementary profound, boosting her profound energy by quite a bit. She had only been able to do this thanks to her understanding and connection to the world itself, boosting her cultivation speeds by a massive amount, as she was basically a walking flower that absorbed energies at immense speeds, including Profound Energy.

Over those couple of days, she had done a few more training sessions with Team Flash, as Barry and Wally continued to grow and improve with their speed force, and thanks to her own speed force connection massively growing, she now was able to teach them about the speed force much easier and clearer than before.

The two had continued to show their talent as they improved more and more, especially once Talia started to introduce new methods for training their speeds, primarily the meditative aspect that Wally in particular had taken to. While Barry had taken to the more traditional training methods involving speed exercises.

Talia had also begun to train in her new forces.

The Sage Force, this force revolves around wisdom, knowledge, and perception. This force in particular had massively strengthened her intelligence and all of her psionic abilities several times over, making her even more busted in that particular area. It was also better used when combined with technology.

The Strength Force, the force that revolves around land, gravity, density, and mass shifting. All of it is centered around the force of motion, and the ground and Earth itself. It seemed that the Strength Force was more in line with its comic counterpart than Talia had expected. Although the fact that she already gained it meant that something had been changed within this universe. She wasn't going to complain, especially once she realized that she could now strike and lift with the same weight as a literal planet.

The Still Force, the force that revolves around entropy, inertia, stagnation, reversion, and perpetuation. This force is the natural opposite of the Speed Force, and is the one that had quite a few abilities, like absorbing the energy forces of others and absorbing it into herself, the ability to negate motion and energy, and grants Talia with yet another form of immortality.

Through her training with them, she had found that she could imbue the still force into her figure, "Halting" the objects, people, and basically making it so they cannot move whatsoever, all through simply touching them. She could passively "Radiate" the aura in a large radius as well, around the size of an entire city, and that would only grow as she learned how to control and grow it.

The sage force had proven to be the easiest and strongest of the three, thanks to her immense intellectual capabilities, being the smartest person in this multiverse, besides the omniscient beings and such.

At the moment Talia was in the cortex after a rather interesting guest had arrived. A woman known as "Gypsy" a collector from another world that was basically an interdimensional bounty hunter, with the same powers as Cisco, albeit not as strong. She was there for H.R because traveling through dimension was illegal in the Earth he came from, and now that he had been caught, he would be sentenced to death.

A new man had joined the team named Julian, a crime scene investigator at Central City Police Department, and a man that had been implicated with Savitar, as he had been controlled by him, and turned into the villain known as "Alchemy".

""As Francisco threw back his lustrous locks and laughed, I outlined my plan for neutralizing the rampaging creature." It goes on like this for pages. He's been broadcasting this without our knowledge or permission, all the while making himself the hero" Cisco said, as HR had unknowingly been broadcasting a book he made on their encounters back to Earth 19.

"Yeah, every book needs a central protagonist that the audience can invest in" HR said, defending the act of making himself the hero, and not the fact that he had been uploading all of this without the team knowing.

"I would have gone with Barry" Caitlin said as Talia snorted.

"Barry?" HR asked as if that was a dumb suggestion.

"Cisco, what was that back there? First golden glider and now her?" Caitlin asked, as the collector ended up portaling into the speed lab where they were at, the two fought, and Cisco was trying to flirt with the woman more than stop her.

"I can't help who I'm attracted to, even if it is the...sexy, intense, deadly ones" Cisco trailed off with a small smirk before continuing "So she takes you back to Earth 19, and what, you pay a fine?" Cisco asked, not knowing.

"The punishment for non authorized breach travel on my Earth...it's death" HR replied as everyone looked at him in surprise, not expecting such a harsh punishment for such a thing.

"Death?' Barry asked, as such a punishment for dimensional travel was...a bit crazy.

"About 24, 25 years ago, a neighboring Earth invaded our planet through a Breach and almost destroyed the place. So to prevent it from happening again, they banned all inter-dimensional travel. And then they put the collectors in place to punish those of us who violated the ban. I just didn't think that she'd track me down" HR said with a sigh.

"So why would you risk your life by coming here?" Caitlin asked the question that was on everyone's minds.

"I-I'm gonna get packing. It's time for H.R to face the music" HR said as he began to walk out of the room. With him gone, Talia sighed.

"So what're you going to do to save him? Because you sure as hell can't let him die" Talia said, as they all looked at her. She actually quite liked HR, as she found him to be amusing, and his books were actually not that bad.

"And what if her taking him will change the future, preventing Iris's death?" Julian asked as Talia raised an eyebrow.

"You're under the presumption that letting another die will somehow make the future change for the better. That isn't how such a thing works, as he may be instrumental to saving Iris, there's a reason why he was there that night when she died" Talia replied.

"How could you possibly know that?" Julian asked as Talia chuckled.

"Because I know more about time travel and time itself than any of you. There's a reason why I am the one training Wally and Barry. And with the way time works, changing an event like the capture of HR, will likely cause a toppling effect that will permanently change the future events, and not in a good way. Remember, we pick and choose events to change, because if we choose the wrong one, it'll make the end product worse, and this is one of those situations" Talia said, as they all silently listened to her.

"How do we stop her then? Without you know, pissing off an entire interdimensional police force" Wally asked as Talia smiled.

"Simple, Cisco challenges her to a fight and wins. If my assumption about their people is right, then challenging them to a battle and winning should be enough to stop her from claiming HR. Although he'll likely never be able to go to Earth 19 ever again. But in comparison to death, I assume it's a worthwhile trade" Talia replied with a shrug, as the girl was...not really all that strong.

"How the hell am I going to beat her? I wouldn't even be able to land a punch!" Cisco exclaimed as Talia laughed.

"Simple, I will train you. Should be more than enough for you to defeat her in battle. If not, I will just have to deal with it myself" Talia replied, as they all looked at Cisco who was seeing the looks shuddered as he remembered what Talia's training looked like.

Looking Cisco in the eye, he sighed in acceptance as she grinned and spoke.

"Alright then, let's get started!"
