Until Forever Ink Fades

             Ana lay in the bath tub ,staring at her red ruby ring , the wedding ring Ethan had given her, she stared at it with some what astonishment ,she wondered what kind of life she would love from now on, Even tho Ethan had said it was a marriage of convenience, she wasn't a kid no more and knew damn well , what may happen when two opposite gender cohabit, she didn't want anything that was going to hinder her career , she made a mental note to make it clear to Ethan. @@novelbin@@

      Ana got out of the bathtub reached for a towel and wrapped it around her body, she entered her room to see Mrs Burrow packing up her clothes, she had called her earlier to help her pack up her personal stuffs."Mrs Burrow, Please be sure to not mix my Work clothes with my personal Attires." Ana instructed as she took a pair of joggers and a white plain shirt from her wardrobe , she went straight to the closet to change into the attire ,the clothe was just Comfortable as she loves it, she pulled her hair into a pony tail using a band to fold it into a loose bun. 

           She went out to the living and picked one of the Boxes Mrs Burrow had gotten for her as instructed, she wanted to use them to pack up her work equipments and her books she wanted to handle them her self. 

         Her office was in the living room but a Couch served as a some sort of fence between the living room and her small home office space, Lily was actually the one who had designed it for her when she had bought this condo four years ago, Speaking of Lily Ana felt a sharo stung on her chest for not telling Lily about her marriage , it was also one of the reason she accepted to go to meet at the party , but because of Sophia's stupid display and the turn of event she had really forgotten to tell Lily, she felt like a bad person. 

     Ana started with her files, she arranged them all in other making sure none was peeking out after that she went to her small book shelf , which she got also thanks to Lily, taking out the books gently and placing them into the box,just as she got to the third book something fell off,Ana bent to pick it up and noticed it was a silver necklace with a small book pendant, her finger traced the pendant noticing it was a locket , but it was closed , she frowned tried to pry it open but it was to no avail, her eye went to the book that it has fallen of from, she picked up reading the title out loud. "YOU AND I" 

      Ana frown deepen , it was a romance Story,she didn't read this sort of books , how could she have one lying on her shelf for a while and she hadn't noticed it, she open the book and almost lost it when she found only one sentence."Untill Forever Ink Fades." The Other pages was blank nothing was written nothing at all. 

Ana's eyes widened in confusion as she stared at the book, her mind racing with questions. Who could have given her this book? And why was it on her shelf, seemingly hidden among her other books? The sentence "Until Forever Ink Fades" sent a shiver down her spine. It was cryptic, yet somehow, it felt personal.

Just as she was about to investigate further, the doorbell rang, breaking the silence. Ana's head jerked up, and she hesitated for a moment before putting the book down. She made her way to the front door, thinking it maybe the person Ethan sent, but when she opened the door her breath paused for a second "Lily."

         "Ms Gilbert I have packed up your luggages." Mrs Burrow said as pulled two heavy suitcases to Living room.

          Ana's looked at Lily whose eyes had so much questions piling up."you would need to come in." Ana said stepping aside so Lily could step in and just as she wanted to close the door a voice stopped her. 

           "Good afternoon, Mrs. Maverick," the voice said, and Ana's heart skipped a beat as she turned to see a tall, imposing figure standing on her porch. He was dressed in a crisp black suit, and his eyes seemed to bore into hers with an air of professionalism."I'm the driver Mr Maverick had sent to help your move." 

Lily's eyes widened in shock as she stared at Ana, her mouth hanging open in a silent question. Ana felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she realized that Lily had just heard the driver call her "Mrs. Maverick".

"Ah, yes," Ana said, trying to sound calm. "Come in, please."

The driver nodded and stepped inside, his eyes scanning the room before coming to rest on the suitcases that Mrs. Burrow had packed. "I'll take those, ma'am," he said, striding over to pick up the suitcases.

Lily's eyes never left Ana's face, her expression a mixture of shock and confusion.

    Ana turned to the driver first."you should handle my stuffs with care especially my work equipments, Mrs Burrow would go with you to help setup my stuffs I don't like it when other people touch my thing" The driver nodded, his expression professional. "Of course, Mrs. Maverick. I'll make sure everything is handled with care."

Ana then turned to Lily, who was still staring at her with a mixture of shock and confusion. "Lily, we need to talk, over coffe , your treat." Ana said pulling the confused Lily out of her condominium. 

       They was a small Cafe just a block away from her condo Building,she pulled lily there ordering for the both of them,when they finally got their order and went to sit down on a table ,Lily took her coffee uncapped it and drowned the whole thing." I feel like I'm seeing and hearing things,this must be the effect from the so much wine I drank yesterday,or maybe this is my dream ,flick my forehead I mah wake up."
