Refusio grew furious as he saw two of his fellow pilots die helplessly, quickly controlling the entire ring with the help of everyone else, restructuring it and then flying towards the massive robot in front of them to restraint it.

"Fry its circuits! Stop it at once!"

As he commanded, the ring rushed towards Gaobravelion and wrapped it around, unifying their energies, they fired a massive quantity of raw electricity everywhere, trying to destroy the circuits of the entire robot's body.

And it was almost working well, Gaobravelion started lagging and the digital screens in front of Noah started buzzing and turning off one after another.

"To think they had such an ace! Not good, fire cannons!"

All of his spirits moved and spread their powers and energies through Gaobravelion, all the cannons they merged with moved automatically, firing beams everywhere.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The ring started to rapidly fall apart, the smaller machines exploded into pieces one after another, whatever pilot was inside was calcinated completely.

"Nooo! Move towards Eight Formation!"

All the machines in the ring quickly began reaching the machine and using magnetic force to rapidly destabilize its interior by touching the metallic surface of their foe.

"Ngh?!"

Blake noticed Gaobravelion suddenly stopping its flight as the battleship was farther and farther away, the magnetic forces infused inside of the robot were completely destabilizing it!

"Hah, so they can go this far… Fine."

Refusio smiled, as the surviving pilots celebrated, it seemed that the threat was neutralized as they noticed it was completely paralyzed.

"W-We did it?!" he gasped. "We did it…! Stand where you are, everyone! We must secure the safety of the crystal at all costs!"

BOOOMMM!!!

Out of nowhere, an explosion of golden flames erupted from all of Gaobravelion's body, forming into a massive armor that protected it from damage.

As tis happened, over half of the machines and their pilots exploded into pieces and were all calcinated, Refusio barely managing to react as a force field barrier protected him from the initial explosion, although it shattered and destroyed half his robot.

"W-Wha…?! Impossible!"

He glanced at the rest of the pilots, who were all falling from the skies as if they were moths burning by the fire, and then the massive hand of Gaobravelion grabbing his machine.

"Uuaaaggh!"

As he screamed in horror that he was being crushed to death, Blake stopped, as the grip was tight enough, making some of the internal circuits of the robot explode, but without killing Refusio.

"I-I'm not dead?"

He glanced upwards, the screen of his machine showing what was happening outside, a human appeared from the cockpit of the giant super robot.

A man with black hair Refusio had never seen before.

"A human?! Why…!"

The cockpit opened automatically as an emergency measure of his own mech, allowing him to face Blake head-on.

"Why did you attack us, you fucking bastard?! You killed dozens of my men!"

"They'll be revived once I can secure the other crystal… Is it in that spaceship, right? What's your name?"

"R-Revived? What kind of nonsense are you talking about?"

"I am the one that has collected the other two crystals, they're the soul fragments of the Neutonium Mother Spirit, the Soul of these alien beings. They aren't just ores, but living beings, did you know?"

"W-Wha…?!"

Refusio couldn't believe what Blake was saying!

"If I can gather all three fragments of her soul, she'll be revived completely and this virtual world can be saved from the threat of the Xenoids, and those that died pointlessly can be revived. You're not living the same reality you're based on."

"W-What are you talking about?! Have you gone mad?! I don't understand a single thing!"

"I am not lying, and I am saying the truth… Make yourself visible to him."

The Spirit of the Neutonium Mother Core manifested, making Refusio almost gasp in horror and shock, this was the first time he was seeing a supernatural being.

"W-What's that?! A ghost?!"

"I am the Neutonium Mother Core's Soul, I represent our kind, whom you've called Neutonium Cores. We are a swarm of subconscious that had been born from the crystals, living for eternity in each fragment." She explained. "Your world's humanity was already saved, and this entire world you're living in right now is a simulation created based on the records of such past. Your true self lived most likely, and so humanity. However, we require the soul fragments deposited in this virtual reality for Blake to use my full power in real life, so we can defeat the Xenoids chasing humanity's last ark even as we approach the planet they'll colonize."

"E-EEEEH?!"

Refusio was having a hard time even understanding or processing everything!

For a moment Blake thought that it might be better to just kill him and move on.

But Refusio might have his uses…

"{Machine Docking}"

Suddenly, Refusio was captured by his own machine again as he processed things, seeing how it began to merge with the giant robot, becoming one with it.

All data and information were instantly processed and absorbed allowing Blake to instantly learn about the battleship, the headquarters, and their plans.

"H-Hey! You bastard! Why do you have me confined in here?! Free me at once!" Refusio kept complaining. "Free me at once I said!"

He was inside of the robot, trapped in some cube-shaped room while forced to think about what he had done and what was going to happen.

"Consider yourself lucky," said Blake. "I'll keep you alive because you're useful."

Blake rushed towards the battleship, catching up with it instantly thanks to Gaobravelion's speed.

They were already above the seas between north America and south America.

"It's coming back!"
