"R-Refusio was taken hostage?!"

The Captain panicked, Refusio was his son, and the moment he heard he was alive he felt both relieved and panicked.

If he was going to die, and that his death would also mean the death of the entire battleship's crew, then what sense there was to fight back or resist?

The giant hands of Bravelion crushed each cannon from the battleship, stopping the captain from any funny business either way.

"Open the hangar…"

The captain sighed, as the people gasped, glaring at him in disbelief.

"But captain if we do that they'll get inside!"

"We must secure the crystal!"

The captain facepalmed.

"Don't you get it? That huge robot can't possibly enter this place. He'll come personally to grab it somehow," said the captain. "Once that happens he'll be defenseless, and we can take him down!"

"T-That's right!"

"We could do that!"

"Yeah!"

The battleship hangar opened, as Bravelion stationed right in front of it with its massive arms coming inside, and then from the cockpit, Blake and Refusio walked out.

Refusion was wrapped on Hendrick's spiderwebs, completely to Blake's mercy, walking behind him and unable to move other than his legs a little bit.

"Hurry up," Blake said.

"Uugh! You'll regret this!" Refusio complained.

Once inside, Blake glared at the captain and his co-pilots, alongside many other soldiers carrying laser guns all pointed at him.

The general Refusio had talked earlier was also there, glancing at the scene with anger on his perfect face.

"Refusio! Are you okay?!" the captain asked.

"Father?!" Refusio gasped. "D-Did you do this for me?! You idiot! You shouldn't have let this demon enter!"

"Shut up," Blake slapped Refusio's head and made him bite his tongue.

"Uwaack!"

As the white-haired man cried, Blake walked forwards.

He wasn't dumb though; he knew they would most likely try to kill him once he got far away enough from Bravelion.

"So you're the one that wants the crystal… for what reason do you desire it?!" asked the general. "What is your purpose?! Are you also the one that…!"

"He stole the other two! He told me!" said Refusio. "He's insane! He thinks reality is some virtual game and he's going to gather all three crystals to force some digital ghost to rewrite all of reality! It doesn't make any sense! He's insane- ACK!"

He was kicked in the balls, quickly falling silent once more.

"Although I kicked him in the balls to shut him up, he's not wrong," said Blake. "That is my purpose here, I've come to retrieve the last fragment of the goddess soul. Allow me to demonstrate that this is real. I simply need to touch the crystal and it'll be done."

"What?"

"Such a thing…"

"But isn't it dangerous?"

"The crystal is highly radioactive, and it has electricity everywhere!"

"A simple touch would blow away most people…"

The people of the battleship couldn't understand why Blake wanted to literally just go to his death.

But the captain and the general nodded to one another, with cocky smiles.

"So that's what you want, I see…" nodded the general.

"Then we're defeated, go and touch the crystal, if that's all you ask, go ahead," nodded the captain. "Whatever happens to you or your robot does not concerns us."

"Thank you," Blake nodded, carrying Refusio with him.

"W-Wait, why am I coming?!" he cried.

"Just to make sure they don't get any funny ideas," said Blake. "And also… Saphira, Hendrick, come with me."

Bravelion's mouth opened as he screamed with Braveblitz's voice.

The people watching were terrified the robot talked out of nowhere, as both of its arms detached and transformed into upgraded, golden versions of their original mech appearances.@@novelbin@@

They walked right by Blake's left and right, managing to protect him and to frustrate any plans to snipe him down from afar.

"If you dare to even touch me these robots will crush you," he said. "And if you dare attack Bravelion, he'll destroy the whole ship."

The general and the captain squinted their eyes, glancing at Blake in silence.

As he made his way through the battleship, someone guided him to the core area where the crystal was located.

Then, Blake left Refusio behind and walked forwards.

"Hey, get ready." He said, as the Neutonium Mother Core Spirit appeared by his side.

"Yes, I'm ready," she said. "Any time, Blake."

"Good, let's do it."

Blake touched the core, as an explosion of pure energy rushed from everywhere.

The people gasped, thinking Blake would just kill himself with his own weird delusions of a madman.

Yet…

FLUOOOSH!

The energy began to be completely sapped away from the crystal, rendering it completely useless!

"W-WHAT?!"

The entire crew of the battleship gasped in disbelief at the sight!

Crack, crack…!

The crystal core began to rapidly fragment apart.

And then…

CRASH!

It felt apart into pieces, completely devoid of any of its internal, endless power.

And Blake gained tremendous power as well, which all went towards his chest.

The people stood in awe at what they saw.

Meanwhile, the ghost above him absorbed this energy too, becoming larger, stronger, more real than ever before.

She didn't even look phantasmal anymore, but real.

A blue-skinned, beautiful and motherly-looking woman with long white hair and silver eyes, wearing only a white dress.

Her entire existence shone as brightly as a star, and everyone watched in awe and silence!

"I-I can't believe my eyes!" the captain said. "I-It was real?!"

"So that's… the Mother Core Spirit?!" the general asked.

"E-Eh?! It was real all along?!" Refusio panicked. "Wait does that means we're not real?! Oh no!"

As various people started having existential dread, Blake glanced at her form rapidly materializing in silence, smiling.

"We're finally done, Mother Core."

"I want… I want a name."

"Oh? And what name are you thinking of?"

As she thought about it, suddenly…

The general's face changed from awe to a malicious smile full of greed.

"T-This opportunity cannot be wasted! If we secure her then destroying that giant robot shouldn't be a problem anyways!"

He commanded all the crew around Blake and the phantom to fire their lasers at them!

"Quickly! Capture that woman! She will be our endless source of energy; with her we'll do anything we want!"

Although they were in awe, they obeyed immediately, firing at once!
