Villain : I reincarnated as a Prince! Shouldn't I have a Harem?

Chapter 190 Movie - Qin Feng!

Shang Clan, Ashen's room,

It has been a day since he returned from the Emperor's birthday event.

After he returned with Xue Nanxi, nothing major occurred.

Innumerous cultivators from various powers visited him in the gallery to greet him and introduce themselves.

He could sense their analyzing and discerning gazes as they interacted with him.

They were mostly there to determine if Ashen was worth following or not.

He didn't care about that. The matters pertaining to his faction were handled by his mother and the Shang Clan. He had left the worries to them.@@novelbin@@

He knew that for him, the most important issue was to increase his cultivation and strength.

With enough strength, he could easily achieve his goals without even participating in the fight for the throne.

The show he had put on at the emperor's birthday was just to gain the support of the Shang Clan.

Without their support, he could be assassinated by a stronger cultivator. He needed a strong backer until he was strong enough to protect himself on his own.

Becoming the emperor?

That was only important to his other siblings.

For him, freedom was the most important.

He wanted to live his life free of worry, remaining at the top where he could acquire everything he desired.

Even the emperor wasn't all-powerful, so why would he want to become one?

His aim was to become the strongest.

Invincible enough that no one could refuse his word.

If he advanced to the realm above even the dominion realm, no one would be able to rival him or stop him.

His aim was to acquire that kind of strength instead of meddling in the political affairs of the empire.

The emperor had to take care of the people and maintain peace, all while protecting the borders from the other empires.

For him, this was all too hectic.

Why work so much?

He just wanted to reach the top and enjoy life as the strongest, nothing else.

To achieve this strength, the only way was cultivation.

He had to increase it and reach the emperor realm and further.

For this, he needed Villain Points and to acquire Villain Points, he needed to hunt the protagonist Qin Feng.

He had already synchronized the system by being in his 100m range.

Right now, he sat on the couch with delicacies placed on the table in front.

He planned to see Qin Feng's life memories while enjoying these delicacies.

"System, Show me Qin Feng's past!"

[Ding! As you wish my host!]

As the system's prompt disappeared, the system screen enlarged to the size of the front wall.

It was as if he was in a theater, looking at the projector screen.

"Oh, it'll really be a movie?"

Realizing this, he waved his hand, using qi to turn off the lanterns in the room, darkening the surroundings.

Now the atmosphere really resembled a theater as Ashen fixed his gaze at the screen and waited for the movie to begin.

The screen turned dark before a baby's cry was heard and a voice came after the cry, narrating:

"This was my first cry as soon as I was born. I don't remember it clearly but I'm sure I was born in a poor hut in my home village. Our Village was small with no cultivators residing nearby. This Village was one of the thousands of villages present in the QingLong Tribe..."

Hearing the narrating voice, Ashen instantly recognized:

"Isn't that Qin Feng's voice? Now this really feels like a movie."

Meanwhile, on the screen, the scene changed to Qin Feng's adulthood.

My Childhood was full of joy as I played with children of my age from the village.

The people of our village lived as one big family without much worry, mostly earning through farming and craftsmanship.

Soon, I turned eighteen, the age of awakening the spirit.

All the villagers knew about the cultivators, however, no one from our village had awakened a spirit high enough to become a cultivator.

It was over a millennium ago that someone from our village became a cultivator.

Nonetheless, even the children of our village gets a chance to awaken our spirit.

One of the senior disciples of the QingLong sect was responsible for carrying out the awakening of children of our village that year.

The Village-head Grandpa took all us newly turned 18 children to the awakening site where the senior disciple of the QingLong sect waited.

It was my first time seeing a real cultivator.

He was a handsome cultivator adorned in a long silvery-blue robe that cultivators were said to wear.

The Village-head grandpa cupped his hands and bowed as he greeted the cultivator:

"Revered Cultivator, I express my gratitude to you for giving our Village's children to awaken their spirit!"

The cultivator shook his head and replied with a warm smile.

"No need for gratitude. If any of them awakens a spirit high enough to allow them cultivation, it'll only help our tribe and sect. We need as many cultivators as possible to defend against the demonic tribes bordering us!"

The Village-head grandpa nodded in agreement, buttering him further:

"You are right, respected cultivator. We will always be in the debt of cultivators like you for providing their protection to us village folks"

The cultivator calmly acknowledged his words before shifting his gaze to us children.

"We should begin the awakening ceremony!"

He spoke calmly before waving his hand as multiple pills appeared in front of him instantly.

These pills flew towards us and stopped just before us.

In front of me floated only one pill similar to the others.

It was now that we understood that the pills were as many as us, no more, no less.

We all get only one pill to ourselves.

The cultivator, at this moment, spoke:

"Children, you must already know how to awaken your spirit. Your seniors must've told you. But just as a formality and caution, I'll repeat."

"You are to swallow this pill and concentrate on absorbing the spiritual energy released from it. Just visualize a pot in your mind and think about sucking the water from it with a pipe. I hope this'll help."

"Now, take a seat and swallow the pill"

Us children obeyed his instructions as we grabbed the pill and sat in a lotus position.

We then closed our eyes and swallowed the pill.

I followed his advice, visualizing a pot and sucking the water from it with full force.

I wanted to awaken a high-level spirit and become a cultivator.

However, the reality is always cruel.

After half an hour, all the children were standing with their heads low.

We were finished with awakening our spirits and once again, nobody awakened a spirit higher than 3-star.

My spirit was a small three eyed monkey, a 3-star spirit. It's height was 1 and a half foot.

Other children were even worse than me, awakening at most a 2-star spirit.

The Village-head Grandpa sighed dejectedly:

"Sigh, No cultivator again..."

"Don't be upset. It's not easy to become a cultivator."

The cultivator consoled before informing: "I'll take my leave now."

The Village-head Grandpa simply nodded as he guided us back to the village.

Though I couldn't be a cultivator, I wasn't dejected like the Village Head grandpa.

Even now, I could live my life peacefully in the village, there was no need to be sad over what you couldn't control, right?

This outcome didn't change my life in any way.

I returned to my house where my parents waited for me.

We had a small farmland where we grew crops like the other villagers.

Since I was an adult with an awakened spirit, I could help my parents on the farm now.

We also had some cattle that produced milk.

Their milk was another source of income for our family.

I carried on with my life for the next five years when I had turned 23.

On one stormy day, I was returning after plowing the field.

"How did it suddenly begin to rain? It was sunny an hour ago"

I wondered as I ran to return to my house.

I had to move through the woods as lightning crackled in the sky and rain poured down.

The weather was stormy and tempestuous.

As I moved, I suddenly felt a Violent pressure move past me, sending chills down my spine.

I then heard a thunderous sound in front of me as the trees crashed and fell down.

Something had crashed in them.

I then heard a loud laugh from above.

"Hahaha, Tian Jian Xunzi, you'll not be able to escape today. Hand 'It' over and we'll give you a painless death!"

In my view, two cultivators in dark purple silk robes appeared, floating above.

Cough! Cough!

The man who had crashed into the trees coughed up blood before looking at them with determined eyes:

"I'll never let 'It' fall into your demonic hands. You may have succeeded in poisoning me, but that doesn't mean I'm helpless!"

As he said this, he closed his eyes and began conjuring a skill.

A golden light began to gush out of his body and seeing this, the two cultivators' eyes widened.

"We have to stop him! Don't let him use that skill!"
