The smaller elements he incorporated into the layers gave the dish a more pleasant taste profile.

Virel smiled as he took each bite, ”Contestant Keith, it was delicious, and the sauce you paired with it is a perfect complement.” The king had finished the dish like the others. However, he savored each component, tasting it individually before tasting them together.

"..." Baker stared at the sauce. How much does it change the potato? That piqued his interest.

The chef dipped a piece into the sauce and took a bite...completion. The old man stared at Keith some more. His outlook on the boy was completely different than before. To create something with only potatoes was terrific.

However…how are you able to top him?

Brian was calm and composed, but inside, he was infuriated! His appetizer was definitely beaten by his. Although he was irritated, a card was still in play. The variant. With the variant as his main dish, there was no way Keith could win.

Plus, there was an issue with Keith's three-course meal.

A main dish that doesn’t have meat while the opponent has one of the best meats possible. Despite Baker's way of thinking, that didn’t stop him from noticing Keith's gaze. His eyes were tranquil, showing no signs of anxiousness and doubt.

This wasn't overlooked by the audience either. Madison tilted her head, "Keith isn't fazed." The young adventurer was aiming to win and nothing more.

Eased and relaxed.

Lola tsked, “Constant Keith, please show us your next dish.” Seeing all of this made the lady gulp in anticipation. She was not the only one; the audience wondered.

What did he cook to take on the variant?

“I call this the birdcage.” Keith opened the lid, and the crowd couldn’t help but be spellbound by the sight!

“What in the world?!” Herrick and the others' mouths gaped open as they stared at the intricate design of the dish.

On the bottom layer was bread, and then on top was a translucent layer with a white pearl and a drizzle of gold sauce. But right on top of it was a yellow cage. Surrounding the main component were beautiful white cylinders.

“Holy-“ Angelica and the others couldn’t believe it.

Sakura chuckled, “How did Keith make something like that in two hours?” It was unbelievable.

Cadmus and the other judges sat there and stared at this dish. Could it be called a dish? It looked more like a work of art.

It was out of this world! More so than that, “What an intense aroma.” Virel couldn’t help but mumble as he couldn’t describe it. The aroma was faint yet addicting at the same time.

Baker asked Keith, “Young man, can you explain this dish to us?”

“What you have before you is eggs in three ways.”

“…This all came from eggs?” The audience mumbled.

How could that be made from only eggs?

Keith continued, “On the bottom layer, you have a bread component made from baked egg whites. Sitting on top of it is a poached egg with a drizzle of sauce made from the yolks. In addition, the cage on top is a batter made from eggs.” Actually, it should be egg in four ways. However, there were three solid components, and the cage was a decoration.

“…” You made all of that with only eggs? This was absurdity right here! However, when they thought about the many eggs used during his cooking, it made sense! Julius was salivating as he stared at the dish,

“I want to eat it now!” “Same!” The three kings mumbled; what came next was William smacking their heads, “Are you guys dogs or what?” Why are they so anxious about food?

“Shut it! You can only say that because he always makes these foods for you!” “Yeah!” “Hmpf!” The three kings glared at William, which only caused the man to snort, “That’s not my problem. Blame yourself.”

Cadmus was salivating a puddle as he took a bite of all the components together. His eyes widened as he felt like he was in his own world! Egg paradise! The delicate egg called out to him!

What in the world?! Cadmus looked at the others and saw that they were making a dumb face as well! What a deadly taste! Lola muttered, ”Umm, judges, do you have any critiques you want to share?” Come on! Do you have to be silent?

Virel wiped his lips and coughed, embarrassed about his countenance, “The only thing I have to say about this is that it’s quite deadly."

"Indeed.”

“…” Lola’s eyes twitched. What does that even mean? Baker was the only one who continued to eat. As he did, he frowned.

“Please bring up the last dish!”

“To top everything off, I made a lily potato souffle.” This dish was the one with the most aroma. The audience loved every moment of it!

Sweet and aromatic.

“…Keith.” Carolyn and the others held their stomach as they pouted. Eri tilted her head, “Want.” It was clear the fox girl was getting hungry from the aroma.

"What's this on top?"

"It's a lemon reduction mixed with orange and sugar." It would give it a citrus taste, cutting the sugary flavor.

“…” Once the five finished their meal,

“Now then, judges, we’ll give you time to deliberate.” Now, they needed time to do so.

Baker raised his hand, “There’s no need to deliberate as the winner is quite clear.” He turned to the two, “In terms of technicality, skills, and presentation. Keith is the obvious winner.” That was something he had to say.

“Indeed!” “Yes!” The other four agreed with the statement as well.

5-0. There was no way he was going to be winning against him. Brian roared, “How could I lose like this?!”

“…” Baker and the others shook their heads. But that was when one voice cut through, “You definitely had the better meat, but the way you cooked it was the difference.”

“You overcooked the variant meat, making it tough and difficult to chew. A rush bull variant would have a fluffier taste.” “How would you-“

“Because I cooked with it before.” That was the difference between the two of them. The skills were too high to overcome.

"And you didn't make a good dish as well." Keith realized it. "The only taste was the variant." The other dishes didn't have any other flavor. It was that overpowering.

“...” Brian had no words.

Baker nodded to all of this, “There is only one winner.”
