Apocalypse: I have a supermarket stocked with supplies

Chapter 45: Steamed bun gives birth to little steamed buns

Chapter 45: Steamed bun gives birth to little steamed buns

“Scram,” Su Yinhe said firmly.

“Little sister looks cute when she’s angry too,” Qin Mingzhou said with an air of being overwhelmed.

Just as Su Yinhe was about to take action, he quickly ran back to the cashier robot, exchanged two Crystal Cores for money,

and then sauntered around with a shopping cart, selecting products.

There was no gold, but Superpower Users certainly weren’t short on Crystal Cores; after all, to enhance their superpowers, they needed to carry them around.@@novelbin@@

Seeing Qin Mingzhou go in, other Superpower Users also took out their Crystal Cores to exchange.

...

These Crystal Cores, just go out and beat up some Zombies and you’ll get them.

But the good stuff in the supermarket, miss it and it’s really gone.

Every Superpower User who came here exchanged their Crystal Cores.

After all the Superpower Users had gone inside, Su Yinhe grabbed an umbrella and returned to the cave. She believed the supermarket wouldn’t let anyone trying to duck out on a bill go.

Lin Murong was woken up by Chi Yan in the morning to eat breakfast. After eating and not seeing Su Yinhe come out, he started yelling and slapping the tent.

He slapped it around for a while but still didn’t see anyone come out, so Lin Murong started muttering about how soundly she was sleeping.

Then he was about to reach out to pull the tent open to look inside, but Chi Yan stopped him.

The reason was that one should not peek at things that were not meant to be seen.

Lin Murong: “I wouldn’t have guessed, Brother Chi, that you’re quite the stickler.”

Chi Yan adjusted his glasses, “It’s not being old-fashioned, it’s about politeness.”

“Tch, I know, I can’t look. You’re just jealous.” All for show, he was just into Little Galaxy and feeling jealous.

Chi Yan: “…”

If they weren’t going in, then they weren’t going in. Lin Murong continued to call out and even began to sing a wake-up song he made up.

“Get up, get up, the early Galaxy gets breakfast~ Sleep in and you’ll get a hungry belly~ hungry belly~ hungry belly~ hungry belly~”

“Shut up,” Chi Yan, tortured by Lin Murong’s singing ability, couldn’t resist and forcefully knocked Lin Murong’s head askew.

Lin Murong straightened his own head, ready to have a good talk with Chi Yan. If Chi Yan kept hitting his head like this, what would he do if he ended up with a crooked neck?

Then he saw Su Yinhe walking in from the outside.

“Hey! Little Galaxy, how come you’re coming in from outside? Weren’t you in the tent?” Lin Murong was baffled as he saw Su Yinhe walk in with an umbrella.

He had kept watch the first half of the night, and Chi Yan had watched the second half. Neither of them had noticed when she had slipped out.

“Mhm mhm,” she went out for a bit to find her adorable supermarket.

“What were you doing…” Lin Murong started to ask but then remembered she might have gone out to take care of personal needs and stopped himself.

“Want breakfast? Brother Chi grabbed some meat steamed buns, and there’s also the soy milk you gave us last time,” Lin Murong called out to her.

Chi Yan probably despised the meat steamed buns and only drank a cup of soy milk.

Lin Murong ate five, no soy milk; Chi Yan didn’t allow it. Chi Yan’s exact words were that every cup of soy milk drunk was one less cup to drink, they should drink it sparingly.

When he heard that, he just spat in his mind.

Wasn’t it that eating one steamed bun means one less too, and he still had him eating them?

He also knew the reason why he was only given steamed buns and not soy milk. Wasn’t it because Chi Yan didn’t like steamed buns but did like drinking soy milk? Also, the soy milk was made by Little Galaxy.

Chi Yan, that stingy ghost, just didn’t want to share it with him.

Hmph.

“No need, I had noodles for breakfast,” Su Yinhe said with a smile. She wasn’t too fond of eating buns either. Now that the supermarket was here, she naturally wouldn’t mistreat herself.

She planned to go home soon, cook some noodles, and add a couple of crisply fresh greens.

Hearing Su Yinhe’s words, Lin Murong’s eyes brightened, noodles. Lin Murong turned his head to glance at the expression on Chi Yan’s face beside him.

He remembered that someone was particularly fond of having noodles for breakfast.

Little Galaxy probably didn’t have much either, and thinking about Chi Yan having to watch others eat just like him, without being able to eat himself, brought him joy.

Chi Yan, you too have seen such days.

“Do you guys want some?” If they did, she would make more. It’s just boiling noodles, not much trouble at all.

“I don’t want any, we’ve all eaten already. You eat, don’t be shy. Both Chi Yan and I don’t want any.” Lin Murong quickly said as soon as he heard.

Let Little Galaxy have the noodles, and let him and Chi Yan watch from the side – especially Chi Yan, it would be best for him to experience the pain he used to feel.

“I want some. I only had a cup of soy milk you cooked this morning, haven’t eaten anything else.” Not long after Lin Murong finished speaking, Chi Yan immediately followed up, with a hint of grievance in his voice. “Murong ate five steamed buns.” He even emphasized the word “five”.

He stressed that he, Chi Yan, had only had a cup of soy milk and was still hungry. Lin Murong, on the other hand, had eaten five steamed buns.

Lin Murong looked at him in complete shock.

Holy shit.

Who is he trying to look pitiful for?

Chi Yan’s aggrieved tone made it seem like he ate all his breakfast.

Did he stop Chi Yan from eating?

It was Chi Yan being picky as hell. It definitely wasn’t because he ate a lot and finished off Chi Yan’s breakfast.

“It’s okay, it’s okay. My supermarket has moved over by itself. I’ll go home and make you some noodles.” Su Yinhe said, her heart melting at his demeanor.

“Do you like your noodles thinner or thicker? Do you like greens? I’ll add a fried egg for you. Do you like your fried eggs crispy or runny?”

“Thin, I like them, and I prefer them a bit crispy,” Chi Yan quietly moved closer to Su Yinhe, his tone exceedingly gentle.

Lin Murong: “Pfft!”

Lin Murong cursed Chi Yan a hundred and eighty times inwardly before realizing that something about what Su Yinhe had just said seemed off.

“What do you mean your supermarket moved over by itself? Has your supermarket grown legs?” Lin Murong thought more and more horrifiedly.

Oh my god.

Now it’s not just animals and plants that have mutated, even supermarkets are mutating?

Wouldn’t houses start mutating next?

Could he still live in a house then?

He didn’t want to live in a cave forever!

Taking refuge temporarily is one thing, but living there for a lifetime? Damn.

“It hasn’t grown legs. But it can move.”

Lin Murong rolled his eyes, nearly fainting at the thought.

It’s over, this world is beyond saving; even the supermarkets have mutated.

Lin Murong really wanted to faint, but Su Yinhe was taking Chi Yan to the supermarket for noodles, and Lin Murong wanted to tag along, so he rolled his eyes back and followed them once Chi Yan had finished collecting their things left there.

When they went out, Chi Yan as usual created a layer of water film around the three of them.

Su Yinhe looked at the water film beside her, feeling a bit envious. When she went to the supermarket alone this morning, she wore a raincoat, but her shoes got completely wet, and the bangs and front circle of her clothes as well.

The rain hitting directly on the raincoat even hurt a bit.

Chi Yan’s water film was quite nice, not a single drop of rain could get through, and it was very convenient for movement; you didn’t have to worry about lifting your arm and rain sliding in through the sleeves.

Lin Murong looked at the familiar supermarket on the mountaintop, and even touched the door twice when he walked in, marveling at it.

His adorable and tasty supermarket, how could it have mutated just like that?

That said, the continuous supply of instant noodles and snacks at the supermarket – could it be because the supermarket mutated?

In that case, should he leave a steamed bun aside during breakfast and let the bun mutate, then continuously produce little buns?

Or, teach the bun to regenerate. He takes a bite, and the bun regenerates a bit. Like that, he would have an endless supply of buns.
