Ariel and Auden were quietly sitting on the couch, Jace between them.

"Jace, maybe you got to -"

"No."

"No." Jace and Ariel replied at the same time.

"Oh? Okay, alright, I see how it is," Aiden nodded, eyes narrowed.

Jace hugged his mother tightly, "You're not the kid, Daddy, you're the father, Eva says you're acting more like the kid," He glared at Aiden.

"She did now?" His brows raised, he turned to Ariel and frowned, "Baby? You see, I don't like your sister; I told you she's now gossiping with a toddler, too?" Je complained.

Ariel chuckled, "Can you blame her? You've been behaving like a toddler for a long time now, even competing for attention with your son; I would talk if I was in her position, too." She slid her hand behind Jace and poked Aiden's cheek.

Aiden smiled, he held her hand and kissed it. He was just looking for a little contact with Ariel, and now that he got it, he forgot about Eva and his dislike for her; his eyes were now staring at Ariel, reminiscing the hot and sensual moment they had in their room before coming down to spend time with Jace.

Ariel shook her head, "Clingy," She smiled at him.

Aiden shrugged, not letting go of her hand.

"Daddy, your phone," Jace pointed to the table not far away from them.

"Get it, little man," Aiden said to Jace.

Jace eagerly jumped off the couch and went over to the table, he grabbed the ringing phone and handed it to his father.

"Here, Daddy," Jace offered.

"Thanks, man," Aiden patted his head and took the phone from him.

"It's Viktor," He looked at Ariel.

Ariel shrugged, "Answer it then," She replied.

Aiden nodded and answered the call.

"Hi? It's late for a call, Viktor. Everything alright?" Je asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, but I couldn't wait till morning to tell you," Viktor's voice replied.

Ariel heard it, her attention drawn to the phone as she was also interested in hearing what he had to say.

"It's alright, I'm listening," Aiden said.

Viktor wasted a second before he spoke, "I know you might not like it, Ariel might not like it either, but I've got Moon here with me... I took her in..." He informed.

Aiden pointed at Jace before removing the phone from the speaker.

Ariel understood why he did so, Viktor might say things that wouldn't be right for Jace to hear.

"It's not my business to monitor who you take in or not, but, I'm just curious, why? Do you still love her? I would understand if you do, man, no pressure," He moved his hand over the couch towards Ariel and gently caressed her arm that was placed on top of the couch.

Ariel watched as Aiden's face turned serious in the next second, his hand paused its movements on hers as he kept listening.

"SA?" His voice was low, even.

Ariel's ears perked up the moment she heard what Aiden had said.

She blinked, concerned.

'Was Moon assaulted?'

'Was that why he took her in?'

She had many thoughts running through her mind. She wasn't supposed to care, but somehow she did. Just like Moon, she was also a woman, a mother... she knew how bad it was for anyone to go through an assault of any form, especially not at a moment when one had no one to turn to like Moon.

She was basically alone in the world right now, but Ariek wasn't going to pity her on that aspect because she had brought it upon herself. However, for someone like Moon, who had been spoilt all her life, to suddenly be thrown into the real world, it would be quite hard for her, and men knew those who were defenseless and clueless.

"I understand, do what you have to do. Yes, I'll let her know, goodnight," Aiden concluded and removed the phone from his ear, his eyes locking onto Ariel's.

"Sweetheart, I think you should go to bed now, oh, did I tell you that I saw Bay today?" Ariel asked as she slowly stood from the couch.

"I got him," Aiden lifted Jace in his arms.

Jace wrapped his arms around Aiden's shoulder, laying his sleepy head on it. "You did? Did she ask about me?" Jace asked Ariel, his eyes closing gently.

"Yes, she did. She said she's happy to be friends with you," Ariel said but got no reply, Jace had slept.

She smiled, "He has slept," she chuckled.

Aiden nodded, "Yeah. I don't like this Bay, Ariel. Stop seeing her." He stated as he pushed Jace's door open, carrying him in.

Ariel didn't respond, he waited for Aiden to tuck Ken in first.

Aiden walked out of the room and quietly closed the door.

"Did you hear me?" He asked with a frown.

"I heard you, Aiden, but I didn't go to see the woman, I met her by accident, coincidence? Whatever it was. But she works in a building not far away from Jace's school, she happened to run into me when we went to pick Jace up," She explained.

Aiden sighed, he held Ariel's and led her towards their room, "I don't just like her, Ariel. Maybe it's because of all we've been through, it's made me weary of new characters in our lives. I just want it to be us, and the people we have already known, no new friends or acquaintances, they come with new problems. Please?" He drew her into his arms as they stood in front of their door.

Ariel sighed, "Okay, baby, no more new friends or acquaintances," She hugged him.

Auden smiled and led her into their room, locking the door, "In case someone wants to come between me and my wife tonight," He whispered in her ear and softly placed his lips on hers, kissing her gently.

Ariel kissed him for a while before pulling back and walking over to the bed to sit, "What did Viktor say?" She questioned.

Aiden sighed, went over, and sat beside her, "He had Moon with him and they'll be co-parenting from now on," he informed.

Ariel nodded, "You mentioned an assault, what kind and where?" She turned her face to look at him.

"It was an attempted assault, sweetheart, in her new workplace. Her boss had attempted to force himself on her six times; luckily, Viktor witnessed the last one; that's how he decided to help her out," he explained.

Ariel frowned, "The man, he's been arrested, right?" She questioned seriously.

"Yeah... the place is temporarily shut down until Viktor decides what he wants to do with it," He said.

"He bought the place?" Ariel chuckled.

"Yeah, he used some funds from the Maimi company. But, hey, why do you care if the man was arrested? I thought we hated Moon. We should be glad she's suffering, right," Aiden peered his face close to Ariel, smirking.

Ariel pushed him away, "Stop it, Aiden. It doesn't matter who it is; you know I can't stand any form of intimidation or assault; I just want justice for anyone who deserves it," She climbed the bed and sneaked under the covers.

Aiden hurried and went under the covers with her, "Are you sure? Maybe you want to give her a visit and tell her you've forgiven her? Lessen her mental burden?" He slid closer to her, burying his face in her neck.

Ariel sighed, "She'll be fine, Aiden. How about we talk about why Vintor took her in? Do you think somethings going to happen between them?" She smirked.

Aiden didn't respond, he gently climbed above Ariel and stared down at her, "It's not our problem, but I can tell you that something is about to happen between us," His hand snuck into her shirt, moving up her chest.

"Aiden, you're insatiable," She murmured, her hands cupping his face.

Aiden nodded. "When my wife is this beautiful and sexy, how can I be satisfied? Tell me..." He lowered his head to her ear, "Have you had enough of me?" His breath tickled her ear.

Ariel giggled, "Enough? That's a strange word, come here baby," She pulled him down and kissed his lips.

Aiden wasted no time in taking the lead, he placed a hand beside Ariel's face, pushing his tongue inside her mouth.

"Mmm ~ ah..." Ariel moaned as Aiden lowered his hips to hers, his finger grazing over her nipple inside her shirt.

"Who's the hormonal pregnant one exactly? Me or you?" Ariel whispered, her hand going between them, sliding inside his pants and wrapping around his erection.

Auden gasped, "Ah... it's us, Moma, we're both hormonal at this stage," He murmured, his voice raspy.

"Clothes off," Ariel but her lips, staring hungrily at Aiden.

Clothes did go off; in a matter of seconds, bodies were sweaty, breaths were steamy, and hips were grinding against each other.

"I love you, Ariel," Aiden groaned as he bucked his hips against hers.
