Aevia and Elena fought endlessly, throwing blows at each other, hurting themselves and each other at the same time. Aevia had experienced the first time and it was unpleasant, and yet she had to experience it for the second time because of how crucial this moment was for her. But, the problem was that the fact that she had lost the grasp of Mykel both in the future and the present made her a bit angry.

Aevia also felt something was off, and she had no idea what it was because she didn't expect Elena would send Mykel away. She didn't like the situation she was in because she couldn't control anything at that moment. The fact that Mykel was out there, made her feel uneasy, and she also noticed Elena's power that suddenly grew stronger.

Every punch Elena threw at Aevia was enough to send Aevia flying and the amount of power she used scrapped a decent amount of Aevia's power. Not only that, she didn't get a drawback from hurting Aevia, and she kept bombarding Aevia with strong kicks and punches. There was no word spoken from Elena's mouth, only her fists and feet that did the talking.

Slowly but surely Elena turned the tide and took control of the situation, and Aevia had to take it seriously. Aevia had no time to waste and tried to take back what was hers and fix the situation that had become a total mess.

Elena who was busy throwing punches and kicks at Aevia suddenly heard a faint ticking sound. She thought she was imagining things, but the more she focused on it the clearer it became. She didn't know where the ticking sound was coming from, but when she looked at Aevia, she noticed that Aevia had been so passive and didn't try to fight back.

When Elena threw a powerful punch at Aevia, she was shocked that Aevia could block it by grabbing her fist with her hand. Although with the amount of power that she used on that punch, her hand wouldn't budge and stuck there. She then got her fist crushed when Aevia clenched her hand, so she used her left kick into Aevia's ribs, but it was blocked by Aevia's other hand. The same thing happened and got her whole left leg crushed. She had no other choice but to use her head to hit Aevia in the head, but to her shock, her head was grabbed by another hand that appeared out of nowhere behind Aevia's back.

Elena's hair was being pulled back by Aevia's third hand, and that was when she noticed the ticking sound that was coming from Aevia's chest. She looked down at Aevia's chest and that was when she witnessed something that she hadn't seen in her whole life. Arms appeared every time the ticking sound was heard until there were dozens of them behind Aevia's back.

There were a total of 20 pairs of arms in front of Elena, and each of them held her body until she couldn't move her body. She was powerless and thought of a way to escape from it, but then she heard a louder ticking sound. That ticking sound echoed throughout the space and there were no more ticking sounds that followed.

Aevia removed her two hands that originally held Elena's fist and foot, and then she slowly looked up at Elena without showing any expression. In the blink of an eye, Elena's limbs were ripped off and Aevia's hands were inside Elena's chest.

Elena was shocked and she didn't realize that her limbs got ripped off for a second, and she didn't know that Aevia's hands were inside her chest, gripping her heart. She was confused as to why Aevia didn't get any drawback from doing so since their bodies and powers had become one. "Goodbye," Aevia stared coldly at Elena.

Elena closed her eyes and accepted her fate because she didn't have anything else to avoid her death. She never thought that Aevia had something so powerful hidden under her sleeve. Whatever it was, she couldn't win against Aevia and she hoped that she had bought enough time for Mykel.

For a split second, Elena thought about the voice she heard behind her ears before she decided to send Mykel away, the voice that told her to send Mykel away. At that moment, Aevia could see and hear that voice, and that voice was Elena's voice that came from the future. When Aevia found out about it, she knew that Elena was the biggest obstacle, and so she didn't want to make the same mistake again.

When Aevia was about to crush Elena's heart, a space was ripped from behind Elena. Mykel came out of it and at the same time, a loud ticking sound could be heard. Aevia suddenly lost almost all her power and strength at that moment and she was in immense pain. Mykel used that opportunity to take Elena away from Aevia's grasp and bring her away from Aevia.

Elena was being held tightly in Mykel's arm, and that was when she noticed Mykel and the same sound inside his chest, the ticking sound. She slowly looked up at Mykel's face and she was relieved and knew that Mykel would come back to save her. But she was more curious about the ticking sound of the clock and what it was.

Mykel closed his eyes and imagined a simple clock in his head and then reversed the time by moving the needles backward. When he opened his eyes, he never thought it would work on Elena, and how she had fully healed. Not only was she healed, but she was in her prime again and became a lot stronger than ever.

"What's that power? And why do I feel a familiar energy that runs inside your body," Elena asked as she touched Mykel's chest, and every time his heart beat, it made a ticking sound.

"Something that only a truly omnipotent being could have. It's called Eternal Life, a state where it makes me immune to pain, invincible, and makes me in my prime while at the same time making my power infinitely strong because it stops the clock of my existence," Mykel answered as he looked at Aevia. "When I felt it, I knew what kind of power it was, and I wondered why it suddenly got activated. The only answer was that Aevia used it and since my power and hers are connected, she awakened that power inside me," he added.

"How did you get that power?" Aevia slowly lifted her head to look at Mykel while she was on her knees. "Don't tell me..." she squinted her eyes as she stared Mykel in the eye.

"That's right. I devoured your toy," Mykel answered and stared back at Aevia with a cold expression. "I knew what you did, and I'm not going to make the same path as what my ancestor did," he added with a loud ticking sound that echoed throughout the space.

Since Mykel and Aevia shared that power, the moment Mykel activated it, Aevia was affected by it and became powerful as well. They both started to fight and even Elena couldn't see a single image of them. There was no sound, only silence and she was the only one who was visible in that space.

"(Please endure for a little longer, Elena)" Mykel's voice could be heard inside Elena's head.

The moment Elena heard that warning from Mykel, she felt like her brain was being ripped and shaken inside her skull. She felt like her head was spinning thousands of times in a split second, and her body was being ripped off while her insides were being cut over and over. She let out a painful scream because she had never felt that extreme pain.

Mykel and Aevia were trying to kill each other mercilessly, but they were invincible that all their effort were for nothing. They couldn't kill each other, but there was one thing that concerned Aevia and why she thought about killing him rather than taming him like back then.

"You put half of your power into his body," Mykel appeared right behind Aevia and kicked her right in the face. "Giving him power while at the same time changing him from the inside," he added and disappeared again. "You let Elena live, thinking that she wouldn't be able to stop your power inside him. But you underestimate the bond that kept them both strong," he appeared again and punched right in Aevia's face.

Aevia deactivated the Eternal Life and used a different effect of the power when she started the clock again. The ticking sound had changed into a loud gear being rotated and it became louder and louder until suddenly it stopped. She made everything stop in time, even Mykel and Elena were frozen in time.

She couldn't do anything in that state as well, she could only control the clock inside her. She then forced the clock to rewind, and the clock in Naux started moving backward so quickly. She had no choice but to reset everything to the point where there was nothing but her own existence.

"Are you that desperate?" Mykel asked.

Aevia was shocked when Mykel could speak and stared at her with the same cold expression.

"You gave him half of your power, remember?" Mykel raised his eyebrows. "And right now your power is also running through my body. That makes me twice stronger than him, don't you think?" he added and then snapped his fingers.

"No..." Aevia was in disbelief when the clock stopped moving and prevented her from resetting the time. "You're not allowed to use my power!" She screamed as she glared at Mykel.

"That's your fault," Mykel appeared right behind Aevia and pulled out the spine from Aevia's back as he put his left hand on her neck, choking her with all the strength he had. "Your power is mine now, and only one of us can control this power, don't you think?" He put his right hand into Aevia's back and found the clock inside her.
