"Well, one of them will find herself in the Master's bed." Maroon drawled. Aridus agreed wholeheartedly. As Calle entered the battlefield, she and Right General Vahan rampages over the battlefield. With her spear, she struck the head of the Human Bugs, taking them down with precision and speed.

Meanwhile, her current partner used his prodigious strength. A single swipe of his axe decapitated or disemboweled 5 Human Bugs at once, minimum. She even see the man cutting 10 in a single strike.

'Well, I can't lose.' She used the head and body of the Human Bugs as stepping stones, moving quickly towards her target.

The A-rank Human Bug noticed her and let out another ear-piercing screech. She endured the ringing in her ears in favor of throwing one of her spears to the monster.

The monster noticed and dodged it, though it killed a nearby B-rank Human Bug. Realizing one of its stronger subordinates killed, the A-rank Human Bug let another screech terrorize the ears of those who could hear them.

She bend her body, gritting her teeth as a part of her wanted to do nothing more than covering her ears with something, just to not be tortured by the horrible screeching.

The spear almost pierced the monster's head. However, it reacted fast enough to twist its body, avoiding the fatal head strike for a shoulder injury.

The monster hold its wounded shoulder, the cut part oozing with clear greenish fluid. It looked at her, its spherical eyes the same as ants, jutting out from its cranium. The only difference is the eye color being emerald green.

It's shining eyes stared at Calle, unblinking before it jumped away, not wanting to engage in a fight with her.

'To bad I don't think wish the same!' Calle leaped at the monster, her spear piercing the heads of Human Bugs that get too close for comfort.

Seeing this, the Human Bug let out another screech, this one on the lower end as it ran towards the small army.

"Stop it! It's aiming for the army!" Calle and Vahan can caught up to them and deal the final blow. But before that, the small army would lose hundreds, maybe thousands of soldiers should the A-rank Human Bug rampage at the center of the army.

The broken line would also be an open invitation for the rest of Human Bugs, who would take advantage and tore the broken line further.

Vahan, noticing the monster, leap in its direction, swinging his axe in an attempt to cut off the head of the monster. If he did not manage that, at least he can cut of a limb or two.

Unfortunately, the monster is smart, as shown by how it avoided the strike before landing a kick on Vahan's armored gut.

The Right General was kicked to a cluster of Human Bugs, crushing them under the impact, while sending the rest flying away. As he struggled to get up, the nearby monsters started to swarm the downed general, eager to kill a significant threat.

"Not on my watch!" fortunately, three B-rank adventurers entered the messy battlefield, protecting the downed general as he recover as quickly as possible.

When he stood up, he swing at the direction with no allies, killing a score of Human Bugs in a single strike.

"Thank you. I have to go now, and you should follow," Vahan said as he jumped to the A-rank monster.

The adventurers exchanged glances before shrugging, following the general as he escaped the monster side of the battlefield.

As he try to catch up with the A-rank monster, Calle already fighting it, her spear glinting under the sunlight as she fought off the monster.

Despite sharing the same appearance as other Human Bugs, with the difference being its size and its marking, its claws are stronger, plus it's faster and stronger than other Human Bugs.

In the time it took Calle to catch up, it managed to tore through a part of the line, killing those around and allowing the rest of the Human Bugs to enter through the opening.

Calle gritted her teeth, as she jumped away from the monster, it doing the same. Soon, they started a staring competition, as nearby Human and Human Bugs decided to do the smart thing and give the two a wide berth.
