Despite Whitebeard and the other captains' repeated objections, they ultimately couldn't stop Ace from embarking on a solo journey to chase down Blackbeard.
Meanwhile, Sasuke remained on the Moby Dick, taking charge of the entire pirate crew.
Whitebeard was getting old, and he hadn't truly fought in years.
More and more, the burden fell on Sasuke's shoulders.
The recent situation was far from ideal.
In addition to Akainu's prolonged presence in the New World, the Marines had recently deployed two Admirals— The Golden Fox Naruto and Kizaru—along with the substitute Admiral, Fujitora.
To ensure the integrity of the pirate group, Sasuke had no choice but to stay.
Upon realizing this, his expression darkened.
A chill ran through his heart.
"Was this all part of your calculations?"
Inside the virtual space of the Technique, Sasuke asked Colt, his voice heavy with displeasure.
"Of course. You act like you're always in control, but at the end of the day, you're no different from Naruto—too easily swayed by emotions."
Colt admitted to his actions without the slightest hint of guilt.
"I've told you many times before. Ace just needs to grow a brain and face some setbacks. In the end, he'll be fine, so why are you so worried?"
Sasuke remained silent.
He knew Colt wasn't lying, but he couldn't suppress his emotions.
Especially knowing that Ace's inner scars might be reopened in the process.
That wasn't something Sasuke wanted to see. The two were after all almost like real brothers.
Colt looked at Sasuke's conflicted expression and found it amusing.
At the same time, he decided to throw him a bone.
"If you have time, you should come to Wano. Aunt Mikoto and Aunt Kushina have been having the time of their lives."
'How could they not be happy?'
With Namikaze Minato and Uchiha Fugaku stuck in the ninja world, handling affairs and working hard to support their families, the two women had been shopping in Wano almost every day.
Sometimes, they even went out to sea, exploring prosperous nations and living more freely than anyone else.
Colt wasn't sure if it was because she had died once or if it was just her true nature, but Uchiha Mikoto, who he remembered as a gentle mother, had become quite different.
"You brought my mother back to life?" Sasuke's eyes lit up, his voice trembling slightly.
"Not just Aunt Mikoto. I also resurrected your father." Colt casually pulled out a bill and handed it to Sasuke. He wanted to tease him.
"Here, this is the result of your mother's shopping spree over the past two months. When I settle the bill, I'm handing it straight to your father."
Sasuke agreed without even looking at it.
"Sure, sure"
Having successfully distracted Sasuke, Colt turned his attention back to reality, where the sound of intense battle echoed through the air.
"What's going on outside?"
"What else? Uchiha Madara is fighting Charlotte Linlin again. They've clashed so many times and still don't get tired of it."
Perona floated over, handing him a cup of coffee while keeping a wary eye on Yakumo, the chief maid.
Yakumo was skilled in traditional cooking and taking care of Colt's daily life, but she lacked experience in making Western-style coffee and desserts.
Feeling her position was threatened, she hurried to Colt's side and began massaging his shoulders gently.
Colt twitched at Perona's explanation but decided not to comment.
Ever since he learned why Charlotte Linlin had come to Wano, Madara had developed a sworn enemy in this world.
Even though Linlin was already in a weakened state, Madara still despised her and took every opportunity to pick a fight and beat her up.
Sometimes, even Senju Hashirama would join in, trying to mediate. He would say stuff like:
"Ah, Madara, you're not getting any younger. It's time to settle down and start a family. Back then when we were fighting, I was already a grandfather. I think Charlotte Linlin is quite suitable for you—strong, kind, and, most importantly, capable of having children. With over 80 kids, you'd be making a great investment. Just imagine, Katakuri and her other children taking your surname, Uchiha!"
Madara was so enraged that his Sharingan flared up involuntarily.
"Hashirama!!!"
'Me? Uchiha Madara, marry her? I may be powerful, but I'm not even 1.8 meters tall! And you want me to marry a woman who's nearly 10 meters tall?'
'What am I supposed to do? Stir the pot with a toothpick?!'
The result of Hashirama's words?
Madara and Hashirama fought for ten days straight—again.
What drove Madara crazy, was how Big Mom would cheer on him from the side.
Colt sighed deeply, feeling utterly helpless.
"Fate is a cruel mistress," he muttered.
As he gazed at the sun, Colt narrowed his eyes.
"Yakumo, Perona, shall we set sail tomorrow?"
"Huh?" The two women were taken aback.
"Why the sudden decision?"
"Robin called yesterday. She's finished reading all the documents from Elbaf, and Nami is about to leave the Weather Island. I've rested long enough—it's time to move."
That was only part of the reason.
Ace had gone after Blackbeard. The bait had been cast.
Now, it was time for the hunter to make his move.
After hearing his explanation, the two women simply nodded.
Yakumo stood up. "I'll go inform Hinata-san and the others."
Perona, on the other hand, floated happily out of the room, already eager to set sail.

The Next Morning.
Colt and his entourage arrived at the port in grand fashion. The Flying Feather was ready to depart, fully stocked with supplies, thanks to his subordinates.
His departure was no small event.
All of Wano's high-ranking officials had caught wind of it and gathered to see him off.
"...I have to ask," Kakashi muttered, his forehead twitching as he took in the 'extravagant' lineup.
"Aren't you just going on a honeymoon?"
He eyed the number of women surrounding Colt...
'This bastard!'
"Of course not! Who takes this many people on a honeymoon? I'm going for business."
Kakashi was speechless.
Jiraiya was speechless.
Everyone was speechless.
'Fine. Whatever. You're the boss—you have the final say.'
As the group of women cheered and boarded the ship, Kakashi handed Colt an eternal log pose.
"Once I leave, you should also start preparing. The time is approaching."
"Yeah, I understand. Don't worry about things here."
Kakashi nodded seriously, then smirked.
"You too. Sailing at sea can be boring, but take care of yourself."
Colt rolled his eyes.
"What do you know? This is training."
"I've realized that my resistance to beauty is getting weaker and weaker. I need to take Hinata and the others along to strengthen my immunity."
Under the stunned gazes of the crowd, he swaggered onto the ship, setting sail for the next Chapter of his adventure.
What do you think?
